Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience seeking help from Causey Wright, and in particular, the paralegal who I met with, Arlene Oglove. I reached out due to the complicated L&I case I have been navigating for over 2 years, as I have received extreme mistreatment and been on the receiving end of unethical behavior throughout my whole L&I experience. I was referred to Causey Wright by a smaller firm and expected to be given a consultation and to share my side of the story. Arlene asked to review the claim file but did not give me the opportunity to share the details of my experience & injury. I waited over a week for our scheduled phone meeting to discuss my case after she reviewed the file. She did not call at the scheduled time, and once I called into the firm, I was told she was expecting me to call (which is untrue, as she had told me previously she would call me and I sent two emails with the correct phone number confirming that she would call at 11 on the day we had discussed). She eventually did call 35 minutes after our appointment time, and shared that she did not have her notes because they were on a "home computer" and not with her at the office (in addition to blaming me for the miscommunication). I find it extremely unprofessional to come to a scheduled conference so unprepared, and it is a violation of my trust to know she has my file on a computer at her home rather than the office. She went on to say that she reviewed my claim and found me "non-compliant" and began to bring up the letters sent to me by L&I (the very letters I am seeking legal help to dispute). It is clear to me after speaking with Arlene that she has no interest in advocating for the client, but rather is on the side of the insurance company, who have acted fraudulently since the beginning of my case. Arlene's communication towards me was cruel & made it clear that she is not interested in the truth of the story. I would hope that someone who has the best interests in mind of the client would take time to listen to the issues at hand, and not parrot the exact language L&I has used to paint me in a negative light. She brought up issues that have been long settled, and did not seem to care about the actual issues we are disputing. I came with very specific needs in mind, but she would not listen to what I had to say, leaving me frustrated and triggered, as my L&I claim has been an ongoing trauma that I cannot escape. If you are an injured worker seeking justice from L&I, do NOT use Causey Wright to represent you - they clearly represent the insurance company, and are not on the side of the injured party. Anyone navigating an L&I case knows that L&I will use many tactics to kick individuals off their benefits and deny them the care they need. If I didn't know better, I would think Arlene works for L&I, rather than a law firm offering representation to injured workers. During our conversation, I redirected her multiple times to the actual issues I need help with, and was immediately shut down and told I was argumentative. I am SO disappointed that there are people like Arlene working in this field, and discouraged to know that such a large law firm is so unscrupulous and unjust in their review of L&I cases. Her behavior towards me was shocking and it became incredibly clear to me that this law firm is corrupt and extremely unethical in presenting themselves as advocates for the injured party. read more

I was injured on the job and was looking for a lawyer to take my case , after talking to a few lawyers I decided to talk to Causey Wright firm, on 3--27 I Call and talk to Marisa Ashman, after explaining my case they seen interested and set a phone call appointment for 4-4 for 11:15 , No call , at 12:00 pm I call and was told that my appointment was set for 1:30 pm , again No call at around 3:00pm I call and ask about my appointment now they transfer me to Kristin Jagla and we finally discussed my case , no apologies or anything like that about missing appointment, after hearing my case she said she had some question to ask to another attorney there about my case and was going to call me the next day , again no call , instead she send me and email asking me to submit all paper work I had about my case, At this point I think you show me how unprofessional your firm is and decided to go with some body else read more

I've been with this company now for 9 years. I wouldn't suggest any injured worker consider this company. Every time I needed something done concerning my claim especially during covid when things were changing all the time especially pay dates if I asked my paralegal for anything what I got was a fight. And when I said you're supposed to be my advocate and you're fighting every time I was told if I didn't like it I should go to another lawyer. Now that I got a pension I get paid every month they get paid every month cuz I'm injured. I have an emergency I asked for a small advance on my guaranteed money and was told they did not have $200 in the bank so they couldn't give me the advance. They expect me to believe that a law office is running a negative balance on their bank accounts. The fact of the matter the injured workers are paying their wages. If you read my review and other reviews you will see that the paralegals are nothing but rude to the injured workers that are already going through stuff they couldn't conceive. I have never seen people with less empathy and mind you these are people you are paying to be your advocate.Why these lawyers let their employees treat the very people that make their bussiness possible like crap is beyond me. Like I said it had been 9 years I have a pension.And still treated by their employees like a second class citizen. I would NOT recommend this lawfirm unless you never want to speak to an attorney and want everything handled via a paralegal. I was shocked when I received one of the rudest and unprofessional emails from one of their attorneys after I requested to speak an actual attorney about my case. I was "spoken" to so aggressively that immediately terminated them as representing me in my workers comp case. When going through a work related injury and trying to manage your life, it is very stressful and depressing. You expect your lawfirm to be on your side and helping you, not making you feel like you did something wrong because you have questions about your case! This situation has made me even more stressed after already being unable to work and on the brink of a second surgery. Go elsewhere! read more

Go to Causey Law Firm-they are WA states #1 L&I attorney and they are certainly no more expensive. Due to an injury at work, I had severe cervical fractures, ruptured discs etc. and several surgeries. L&I was trying to get rid of me before I could even walk! Causey Law Firm has kept me safe from those crooks for the last 3+ years, all surgeries and any other medical treatment needed was 100% covered and time-loss benefits paid.
