Incredible and authentic regional Chinese cuisine!…read more Noodle dishes and the dumplings are the best I have had. Attentive service and casual feel to the restaurant makes for a very comfortable dining experience. Can't wait to go back!

We ate there last night and really enjoyed it!…read more We ordered the spicy sausage appetizer, the scallion pancakes, the dan-dan noodles, the dry chili chicken, the sausage fried rice, the pork/crab soup dumplings, and the pork/truffle soup dumplings. Everything was very well seasoned and the flavors really popped out of each dish! The spicy sausage was very similar to other Chinese sausages but less sweet and added a serious heat. It was a great way to start the meal. The scallion pancakes were flakey and crispy and seemed to be homemade. The soup dumplings had an incredible amount of soup inside and the flavors were better than even Din Tai Fong! The skins were just thick enough to hold the soup in but thin enough to be enjoyable and not overwhelm the meat and soup inside. The dry chili chicken was amazingly spicy and flavorful! Be aware that if you have difficulty with spice that you might want to order a lower level of heat! it was too spicy for a couple of us! The Dan-Dan noodles were everybody's favorites, flavorful, with a little bit of earth and a decent amount of heat. The restaurant was cute and clean, very well lit as well. The service was quick and while not overly chatty, was efficient and friendly. We'll be back!

Disclaimer, I'm an East Asian and I didn't grow up eating Indian or Nepali food so take my comments with a grain of salt. Lamb curry My friend and I enjoyed it. I bit into some star anise in the dish, and I wished they gave the star anise more time to incorporate into the curry (sauteing longer and toasting it before), as the star anise flavor wasn't really there. I had to bite into the star anise with the sauce to learn about the flavor profile. Eggplant curry I wasn't a big fan of the dish, as it felt a little astringent and bitter at times. I wasn't sure what it was going for, and I wished it utilized more of that umami flavor from the eggplant to elevate the curry. The curry felt a little overpowering. Fish curry As a seafood lover, this was one of the most special curries I have had. The fish was delicate and soft, which was paired well with the sauce. I would get this again. Chicken Biryani We increased the spice for this dish. The portions were huge and we liked it as a base to the other curries and something to eat with the naan. It was not bad. Mutton Momo (Soup) As a mutton/lamb lover, the momos were flavorful and hearty. They were paired with a spicy tomato soup, which felt different but familiar. We loved it. Mutton Momo (Chillied) The momo was sauted and fried at the bottom. It was paired with some bell peppers. This is the kind of dish where you wouldn't be able to stop eating. Loved it. Garlic Naan Hot, thin, crispy. Even though we wished the garlic was more pungent, the texture was great. Gulab Jamun (Fried Ball Dessert) It was our favorite. The syrup was gingery and had a subtle hint of saffron, and it blended well with the fried balls. This hit home. Overall, the food was decent. We will definitely be back for the momo and to try the different curries and biryani.

We started with the plantains appetizer, and it was one of the most unique and delicious appetizers we've had. If you go, don't skip it. The tacos were outstanding, and homemade tortillas are always a huge plus in my book. I had two chicken tacos and one carne asada, while my wife had the cod tacos. All of them arrived already dressed with sauce, and every bite was packed with flavor. They clearly know how to build a taco. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We also enjoyed the house margaritas. My only suggestion for improvement would be upgrading the standard tequila from Cuervo. The margarita was good enough that I ordered a second, but I upgraded the tequila that time, and it made an already good drink even better. Overall, we really loved this place. Between the creative appetizer, excellent tacos, friendly staff, and great atmosphere, it's an easy recommendation. If you're a fellow taco lover looking for authentic, flavorful tacos made with quality ingredients, make this place a stop the next time you're in Chicago. You won't be disappointed.
