This post isn't to completely bash this place rather just to share my opinion…read more Staff is super attentive and our drinks were never empty. The food however was terrible. Four of us with a meal each, two cups of coffee, and two lemonades was $82, which is far too pricey for the quality of the food. I ordered the huevos rancheros and I have never eaten such bland food before. The beans were hard as though they hadn't been cooked all the way and I am not sure how, but even the single slice of bacon that came with it was bland. I ended up eating the eggs on top of the corn tortillas and left the rest of my food. One of my sons ordered the lunch burrito with chicken and without me prompting him, also said that it was bland and flavorless. My other son ordered the short stack and said that the pancakes were ok but poured the syrup on and it tasted like maple flavored water and made the pancakes soggy. My husband got the chicken fried steak and said it was ok once he put a ton of salt on it. Please see the photos. We ended up leaving most of our food untouched. We paid our bill in full and left tip, which was over $100 for bland food that we didn't hardly eat. I would recommend skipping this place as the food is bland and tasteless, even by hungry teenage boy's standards. The two stars of this review are definitely because staff was great.

Junction Restaurant is just east of Pagosa Springs, CO, on the outskirts of town…read more Overall, this is a family-oriented restaurant that serves beer and offers a decent kid's menu. Huge sign. Large parking lot. Wolf Creek Gifts inside. My significant other and I walked in and were seated after a long pause. I was quite perturbed that the ladies' room was out of service. There was one open all the way through the gift shop, but what a pain in the rear. Especially when you have a post-wedding hangover. Lol. Speaking of hangover... Cindy, our waitress, was super friendly and checked on us often. Maybe too much because I got annoyed when she said our food was on its way three different times. From the breakfast menu on 8/11/2024, I decided on the Breakfast Skillet ($11.95) which entailed two eggs my way, ham, mushrooms, cubed potatoes, and chiles topped with melted cheese. It also came with my choice of bread or tortillas. I highly recommend the tortillas. Slowest cashier/hostess ever. She charged me different items than what was on our handwritten ticket too. Was not a fan of the family that let their toddlers run and scream all around the tables.

My husband had similar comments about this roll. Worth a stop if you want a sandwich, quick bit to eat.

I live in the area and wanted to support our local coffee shop, and have been for about 9 months…read more The service has always been appalling and while 4.70$ for a drip coffee is steep, we supported them because they were selling a local coffee company (also called Steep) and were willing to pay the premium to support a local family owned roaster. They informed me today that they will no longer be selling Steep because they raised their prices. They are now selling allegro as their drip, and when asked if using corporate coffee would lower the price of their drip, they said no. As far as I'm concerned this is disingenuous and a pretty bad hustle. Other complaints include no visible pricing and random price switching (due to the lack of transparency). We will not be back. Please consider supporting the Steep roasting company ten minutes up the road, you can get a fresh bag for 2/3 the price that higher grounds sells it for anyway.

One is for the food, the owner and the establishment A++…read more The other is for our server Allison (who I grade with a big F and is in need of training) I ordered my "Patria Plus" breakfast with two eggs over "medium". I always order my eggs over medium because I do not like a runny white mucousy eggs. One of the eggs was cooked fine, but the other one was undercooked with the white mucousy yolk. When I informed the waitress Allison, about this instead of her apologizing and replacing that one egg, she began to lecture me on how I did not order properly. She sent over the owner who was lovely and very accommodating A++ The food itself, the pancakes, the bacon, Home fries (with the exception of the runny egg) was very good and tasty. If you dine here I would avoid the server named Alison, who needs an attitude adjustment.

Brunch options are the most well known but I think they'd be good for other meal times too. I personally got the Liege Belgian waffle with strawberries, banana, and whip cream and I thought it was absolutely amazing. The pearl sugar, the textures, and flavors! One of my favorite waffles I've ever had. I will be thinking about this whenever I crave a waffle in the future. Just the right amount of sweetness and crunch! My friend got the Hash Smash bowl. I got to taste a small bite and I found the aioli sauce to be delicious. Speaking of sauces, they have hot sauce buckets with a bunch of different ones to try. I found that very nice that they offer that and let people try a bunch of sauces they otherwise might not have had that chance to try otherwise. Also very interesting and unexpected that they happen to have boba drinks in this part of town. FYI though, their boba isn't soaked in syrup so it's bland if your drink isn't quite sugar heavy enough itself. Highly recommend the restaurant look into that and soak their bobas to take the drinks to the next level. Lastly, their menu seems to change quite often and the pics on yelp don't reflect the current menu anymore. You may see dishes/drinks missing or on there that you didn't expect.

Thai tea coffee was delectable and the skillet dish had a phenomenal breakfast sauce. Beautifully cooked eggs and perfect heat. We sat outside and our server was Bart himself, such a nice guy. The interior is cute too. I wouldn't recommend the chicken in waffles because the syrup was overwhelming and the sugar bits in the waffle made it wayy too sugary. The chicken was juicy but I wanted more seasoning in the batter. Overall not bad! Just order that hashmash dish
