Typical greasy diner. Servers do not care at all and are a bit rude. Burgers are good, breakfast always hits the mark. If you want something like a dennys, you've got it. read more

Junction Restaurant is just east of Pagosa Springs, CO, on the outskirts of town. Overall, this is a family-oriented restaurant that serves beer and offers a decent kid's menu. Huge sign. Large parking lot. Wolf Creek Gifts inside. My significant other and I walked in and were seated after a long pause. I was quite perturbed that the ladies' room was out of service. There was one open all the way through the gift shop, but what a pain in the rear. Especially when you have a post-wedding hangover. Lol. Speaking of hangover... Cindy, our waitress, was super friendly and checked on us often. Maybe too much because I got annoyed when she said our food was on its way three different times. From the breakfast menu on 8/11/2024, I decided on the Breakfast Skillet ($11.95) which entailed two eggs my way, ham, mushrooms, cubed potatoes, and chiles topped with melted cheese. It also came with my choice of bread or tortillas. I highly recommend the tortillas. Slowest cashier/hostess ever. She charged me different items than what was on our handwritten ticket too. Was not a fan of the family that let their toddlers run and scream all around the tables. read more

Big portions really good breakfast . I was impressed with my meal. I would go there again

Great little stop for breakfast on the way to the mountain. Great service and food was very good

This was our first time at Pagosa Springs in the Fall and it was absolutely beautiful. On our last day we decided to have breakfast at the Junction Restaurant and had a filling meal. Our waitress was Ellie and she was very friendly and checked on us as regularly as she could but you could tell that they were short staffed. She was thoughtful enough to apologize for the wait because it took about 45 mins to get our food. When the food arrived, none of us were disappointed. The food was delicious. I opted for the Breakfast Skillet and it was very filling with a lot of flavor. Each plate was heavily filled so you won't leave hungry. The wait may be long but the food is worth it if you have the time. If you aren't in a hurry and the weather is just right, eat outside and enjoy the views. read more

Great place for breakfast the waitresses are super sweet and work hard to make the experience worth stopping there. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs and a biscuit very tasty. Friendly staff, good food... I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with pancakes and it more than filled me up. We ate breakfast here twice in the week I was in town. I've been eating here for over 25 years, and I will be back again. read more

We stopped by on our way to mesa verdes national park. Service was great! Sweet server gave recommendations away from poor choices and about extra charges. My husband and I had the hamburger steak diet plate with mushrooms and onions. Side salads came with it and the waitress gave us a bowl of dressing so we would have enough, because who doesn't need a bit extra blu cheese dressing!? The salad was fresh with carrots, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. The burger was delicious!! Not the lean type, lt had lots of flavor and juicy:)The club soda really good too. The restaurant was clean and restrooms were clean and well stocked! All in all we were very pleased we stopped, ate and refreshed. The waitress even gave us to go cups for our sodas! The atmosphere was clean cafe type and woodsy decor. read more

Traveling thru Pagosa Springs and saw this place. Local joint with basic breakfast offerings. I had two egg breakfast: scrambled soft, link sausage, hash browns & English muffin. Staff friendly and helpful. Timing was a bit long on food given it wasn't crowed at 10 am but the food was great. I recommend this place and would return. read more

Driving to Durango and getting hungry . Not many places to eat between home and Pagosa Springs. Saw a restaurant with lots of cars in the parking lot, so hey let's stop here. The restaurant interior was cool - wood throughout: walls, beams and posts. Elk paintings & taxidermy elk adorned the wall. Pagosa Springs is in the middle of elk country. Definitely a rustic feel to the place. A check of the menu - lots of choices. So we settled on the rib eye steak and shrimp and Philly Cheese Steak. Meals arrived and I cut in my steak it was cooked as ordered, a pleasant surprise. But it was tough. Huh? Rib eye isn't supposed to be tough. At least the shrimp was good. Philly Cheese steak was excellent as were the sides . Service was outstanding and saved this review. read more

The place is so dirty. We should have known not to eat there. My daughter ended up getting sick directly after leaving. Beware of this place. Gross microwave food that makes you sick. read more

It was time for our late lunch/early dinner stop while driving from Colorado Springs to Durango. It was the first restaurant we saw after miles and miles of green scenery, and we needed to get our stretch on. We were seated right away, and chose an outdoor seating on an amazing 82 degree weather day. Our cravings? Appetizer: Mushroom and cheese stick combo Husband: Jumbo shrimp with potato salad Me: Liver and onions with a side of rice Kid: Mac n cheese OK, so here's the deal. The food is above "meh". It's exactly the way you imagine it. Deep fried appetizers, shrimp, thinly sliced liver, which was a little overcooked with chopped onions, and a mac and cheese that would satisfy any child. The food is good, not great. I give them a good rating because the service is excellent, the patio seating was wonderful, and the gift shop gave us a little fix that we walked away satisfied. I would definitely consider coming here again on the way back. read more

The nicest staff in the whole world. so so so sweet and funny. really great food too. i was very happy with my experience here.

The Man and I stopped here for breakfast after a recommendation by some locals. A true original country diner with simple yet delicious food. Pricing was fantastic and the portions were wonderful. I don't think I have seen the Man eat that much for breakfast before . He enjoyed the chicken fried steak with some sides and I had the pancakes with eggs and sausage. Both highly enjoyed and recommended. Our waitress was so wonderful and pleasant and kept our coffee topped off. Please stop by here and enjoy yourself. There is a nice little gift shop inside as well! read more

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have higher ratings. We've been coming to this spot for over 20 years. It's a tradition to stop here and eat before we head back to Texas. We started off with coffee and water. A fun table game is there for anyone to enjoy. It's a good brain teaser. I ordered the full order of biscuits and gravy- it comes with a big bowl of gravy and 3 large biscuits. Definitely shareable. It's only $4.95 We also got the one egg breakfast. Choice of one egg, bacon, toast and hash brown. It's was so good! Only $3.95 Hubby got the chicken fried steak and eggs and that was a show stopper. I only got to taste a nibble before he devoured it in half of a second. This place is an Inexpensive, good home-grown breakfast joint that knows what they are doing read more

No frills and no let downs. This was quick and easy unlike most places in town. I got the skillet, she got the burrito. The red and green chile sauces were not New Mexico style but still good. Servers were attentive and very nice. We were in and out in less than an hour. read more

Favorite breakfast spot everrr! I honestly don't know why there are so many negative reviews this place is bomb! I had the skillet and biscuits and gravy (amazing) my husband got the huevos rancheros with green chili sauce and the little one got pancakes and bacon. Everything was very good! Ana our server was sweet and polite, very attentive. We also bought some shirts in their gift shop and paid less than $50 for everything. Can't beat that food and shirts! Try this place read more

Friendly staff, nice deck, so-so food. We have eaten here a few times (in a pinch) & have to salt & pepper & green chile our food to get some flavor out of it - there's a reason there are tons of condiments on each tables. The 'dip' on the French Dip was warm, brown water. The SW Chicken sandwich was fair - dry, not a much flavor. Good staff makes up for alot but the cooks need a refresher course in flavors & fresh produce. read more

The Junction restaurant was a last minute lunch stop in between sledding hills, and we're so glad we stopped! Our picky party of 6 all loved their food (best patty melt I've had in a long time!), our server was so sweet and attentive, and bonus: we thought their souvenir shop had the best selection of shirts and sweatshirts around! The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside has cabin vibes. Highly recommend for a delicious, casual meal! read more

Okay I understand that this is you're typical roadside restaurant and it is very touristy. Complete with a large gift shop. But when we stopped in today we had a great experience. The service was absolutely outstanding! The friendliness here is beyond any expectation I've ever had. The food was prepared and tasty. And no, it's not 5 Star dining but it's more than acceptable. There's plenty of parking if you're in a RV or pulling a trailer. read more

This little cool town, Pagosa Springs, Co has the best restaurant town... the service was off the hook and the food was to die for! The prices were very reasonable and had a nice menu. It was so good that we went back twice the 4 days we were there. If you are ever in this cool town , check This place out! They also have a really cool Gift shop! read more

We stopped here for dinner over the weekend. My husband picked this place out and I was not impressed. The staff are very nice and helpful. We both ordered the rainbow trout and it came out very dry and no seasoning on the fish at all. You only have the 1 daily vegetable option, really! Only baked potatoes or French fries. I asked for a sweet potato, but that option was not available. The only thing that was good was their salads actually had Romain and spinach instead of crappy lettuce. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for health food or variety. The menu is very limited. read more

Just missed breakfast so lunch it was and it was very good. Plenty of food at a reasonable price, took some to go. Excellent service but a bit slow on the iced tea refills. What's nice is that there is plenty of parking - even for big rigs. We tried to eat at a couple of restaurants nearby but no parking but we'll definitely go back to the Junction. Large gift shop too. read more

Only good thing was the roll. The mash potatoes, butter,,corn were bad and the brurger was dry frozen horrible over cooked.

Worse than Denny's. Terrible restaurant. Staff are nice and friendly. Cheese was plastic. Basically gas station food. Excellent gift store.

We sat in Cindy's section.. she was amazingly fun and friendly- gave us some local tips along w a little SASS back- which I love!! It's not a fancy Hipster place at all, the food is good- typical AM breakfast. French toast was good. Eggs over easy were eggs over easy... I like the little store attached... I will say- serve was excellent 2/3 times we've been here. Our first visit was LONG ago greater than 6 months and that visit was the poor service- recent visits have been excellent... I just wish they'd serve bloody Mary's..... read more

I'm not willing to be as hard on The Junction as some of the reviews have been. The people who were there when we were seemed happy enough with their meals. This place is quintessential Pagosa Springs. There are usually one or more over the road trucks in the parking lot, which tells me something. We had the Spanish Omelette, and it was good. Oh yes, breakfast if served each day till 12:30pm. The attached gift shop is good, too. read more

I would rate it lower if I could. Terrible service, awful food and just a horrible tourist trap. It was mostly empty on the 4th of July weekend - which should have been a sign. read more

I read the reviews on this and still wanted to try it. I was instantly seated. Warm and welcoming hostess. Very sweet waitress, Cynthia, and my food was at the table in a decent amount of time. Very homey place. Lots of hunters coming in. They got super busy while I was there, but my coffee cup never ran dry, thanks to my waitress and the hostess. Other waiters came by and checked on everyone's tables like they were their own. I would definitely recommend this place. Plus it has an adorable gift shop!! Delicious read more

Mediocre service and terrible food. They were out of several items our group ordered, brought incomplete orders and one person in our party did not get her food until the rest of us were almost finished. Tasted like school cafeteria food. Wilted lettuce in the salad, fatty roast beef in the French dip, and the au jus was fatty grease, frozen chicken fried steak and overcooked salmon - that was supposed to be cod. The manager could not have cared less at our disappointment and offered no solutions. Avoid at all costs. read more

Came in for a travel breakfast, thus far service is slow but attentive. They really should get wifi sense this is the edge of cell service. I will say again for the lack of people here the food should be getting out a lot faster. Ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs. Steak, not good too long in the frier and too much breading. Gravy has no flavor actually nothing really has any flavor. At least is cheap and hot read more
