Lavender Honey and Thin Mint Lattes
Mary S.

While on vacation, we were underwhelmed by the breakfast options at the resort we are staying at and decided to give Patria a try based on the reviews and the menu online. Boy are we glad we did! What a great find! I had the lavender honey latte and my husband had the Thin Mint Latte and both were delicious! My Pagosa Loco Moco was reminiscent of the Hawaiian staple but with a twist of a green chile sauce. My husband also enjoyed his breakfast, the Patria Breakfast which included eggs, potatoes, toast and choice of meat. I would highly recommend Patria to anyone visiting or living in Pagosa Springs.

Honest review only - me and my friend did not like this place at all. Our food was brought to us after an hour wait, breakfast potatoes were cold, burnt and over salted, lattes were lukewarm, my friends semi-liked grilled cheese, but their burger croissants were over salted and dry. Our server seemed rude throughout the whole experience, also lots of kids working there that created a feeling of chaos. When asked about check we were not given a paper copy with a breakdown we were just charged for the food and it looked like the tip was already added to the total which we were not aware of. Overall I do not recommend this place

This very sweet cafe is located on the far side of the street from the East. We were greeted by a 10-year old who has impeccable manners and clearly the soul of a 30 year old high class maitre d'! He sat us on the patio after asking our preference. We both ordered the Patria Breakfast. BTW- They have gluten free bread!! The food did take a minute, but it was worth the wait! I also ordered the Green Latte with green juice, honey and oatmilk.. VERY good! Forgot to get a Pic. Served hot or iced.

This place has the nicest most welcoming people I've come across in the area. They had a few kids helping bring out the food which is really adorable. The food tasted very fresh and delicious! We got a couple lattes and they were the best we've had during our stay at Pagosa Springs. This was by far our favorite spot in town and we will be coming back with more people!

Breakfast latte, the patria latte and honey bee were also stellar espresso drinks!

Outstanding service! The food was amazing, and the coffee was killer!!! Best place in town and a must visit!

Latte!

Loved our meal at Patria today! First time in but won't be our last. We all ordered Patria + entrees - they were so yum! Loved that I could sub avocado for the potatoes!! Made it a little healthier - lol. The pancakes and latte were our favorites but ultimately it was the service that most impressed us. We were greeted warmly and felt so welcomed. Service was attentive and caring. Have not felt that welcome in a restaurant in a long time. Thank you for a great meal!

Another new brunch place in town? What's the deal? The deal is IT'S SO GOOD. They really went above and beyond for us. Service was friendly, attentive and accommodating. There was ample space for both small and large groups. The place was decorated with care, but still had a touch of whimsy and fun. The food was definitely better than most if not all the brunch places in town. As a local, I can definitely say, we will be back!

Patria Breakfast and a bottomless drip coffee.

A real deal FAMILY RESTAURANT. Wonderful, cheerful place to eat breakfast or lunch -- and the full menu is available at all hours, which is very cool. Great value too and lovely staff/owners. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Very good food, server was nice but didn't come around often. The portions are really big for the price. Coffee was good too!

The owner of this little shop has really ticked all the boxes for providing an enjoyable dining experience. From the meticulously decorated dining room, to the scrumptious pastries, you can feel the heart and soul she has poured into it to bring her dream to reality. And for this little backwoods town to have something like this, is a treat indeed! It's so difficult to get a successful business up and running here in the Mountains. But I guess she takes after her mom in tenacity, because she is off to a good start. The pastries have the taste and texture of true French baking. She has either watched a lot of of the Great Brtish Baking show or she's done her homework when it comes to technique. And we can't quite figure out what she's done to create such a spectacular doughnut. It's not a cake donut and it's not a raised donut. It's somewhere in between and three times as tasty. If she can just keep this pace going and keep up with demand as it increases (and it will) she will be a true success. I highly recommend that you try this little patisserie. I am looking forward to going back for some French Onion soup and a baguette sandwich. And, if you are a coffee snob like I am, you can get a strong fresh steamed cappuccino, to go with your sweet treat. At 6:30 in the morning there's nothing like a fresh warm donut and a strong cup of coffee to kick start your day. Let's support this business Pagosa! We have a good one.

Brunch options are the most well known but I think they'd be good for other meal times too. I personally got the Liege Belgian waffle with strawberries, banana, and whip cream and I thought it was absolutely amazing. The pearl sugar, the textures, and flavors! One of my favorite waffles I've ever had. I will be thinking about this whenever I crave a waffle in the future. Just the right amount of sweetness and crunch! My friend got the Hash Smash bowl. I got to taste a small bite and I found the aioli sauce to be delicious. Speaking of sauces, they have hot sauce buckets with a bunch of different ones to try. I found that very nice that they offer that and let people try a bunch of sauces they otherwise might not have had that chance to try otherwise. Also very interesting and unexpected that they happen to have boba drinks in this part of town. FYI though, their boba isn't soaked in syrup so it's bland if your drink isn't quite sugar heavy enough itself. Highly recommend the restaurant look into that and soak their bobas to take the drinks to the next level. Lastly, their menu seems to change quite often and the pics on yelp don't reflect the current menu anymore. You may see dishes/drinks missing or on there that you didn't expect.

This post isn't to completely bash this place rather just to share my opinion…read more Staff is super attentive and our drinks were never empty. The food however was terrible. Four of us with a meal each, two cups of coffee, and two lemonades was $82, which is far too pricey for the quality of the food. I ordered the huevos rancheros and I have never eaten such bland food before. The beans were hard as though they hadn't been cooked all the way and I am not sure how, but even the single slice of bacon that came with it was bland. I ended up eating the eggs on top of the corn tortillas and left the rest of my food. One of my sons ordered the lunch burrito with chicken and without me prompting him, also said that it was bland and flavorless. My other son ordered the short stack and said that the pancakes were ok but poured the syrup on and it tasted like maple flavored water and made the pancakes soggy. My husband got the chicken fried steak and said it was ok once he put a ton of salt on it. Please see the photos. We ended up leaving most of our food untouched. We paid our bill in full and left tip, which was over $100 for bland food that we didn't hardly eat. I would recommend skipping this place as the food is bland and tasteless, even by hungry teenage boy's standards. The two stars of this review are definitely because staff was great.
