Iced green meadows matcha tea latte -- the flavors are SO good.
    Kristen C.

Love this place! First tried it out in October during a Pagosa visit and came back again today, my first morning back in town. I've been thinking about the Green Meadows matcha latte since I had it months ago. I'm a fan of mochi donuts, and these were so good! And the breakfast biscuits are flaky, hot, perfection. 10/10 for everything. Drive thru is super fast, and they gave me dog treats for my two pups in the car! So sweet. Amazing service and food--I'll be back every time I'm in town!

    Bacon/egg/cheese biscuit

Trust me- Order the bacon/egg/cheese biscuit and maple/blueberry donut. Best ever. Took two other couples there and they both said it was the best breakfast sandwich they've ever had in their lives and the best donut too. We are all hooked and have to have this every time we are in Pagosa!!

Drove through because we had read about the donuts. we ordered a maple blueberry and a chocolate covered along with a churro... The chocolate one and the maple one were incredible The service was super fast, and the man who took our order was super friendly. I'd go back over & over! We cut up the donuts and snacked all day.

    Churro gluten free donut

Went back again this morning for a quick bite on an otherwise busy day. Service was fast and very friendly. The set up makes it easy to get in and out. I had my regular bacon, egg, and biscuit sandwich. So good! Today I tried to churro donut. Honestly, not my favorite. I definitely see the need for gluten free options, but there's a reason gluten works in donuts! I wish they had some options for these that weren't gluten free. Nevertheless, the donut was super delicious, just different than what you may be used to with a regular donut.

Best biscuits we have ever eaten-- hands down. Soft and buttery, flaky-- they are doing it right. We just wish we lived closer!

This post isn't to completely bash this place rather just to share my opinion…read more Staff is super attentive and our drinks were never empty. The food however was terrible. Four of us with a meal each, two cups of coffee, and two lemonades was $82, which is far too pricey for the quality of the food. I ordered the huevos rancheros and I have never eaten such bland food before. The beans were hard as though they hadn't been cooked all the way and I am not sure how, but even the single slice of bacon that came with it was bland. I ended up eating the eggs on top of the corn tortillas and left the rest of my food. One of my sons ordered the lunch burrito with chicken and without me prompting him, also said that it was bland and flavorless. My other son ordered the short stack and said that the pancakes were ok but poured the syrup on and it tasted like maple flavored water and made the pancakes soggy. My husband got the chicken fried steak and said it was ok once he put a ton of salt on it. Please see the photos. We ended up leaving most of our food untouched. We paid our bill in full and left tip, which was over $100 for bland food that we didn't hardly eat. I would recommend skipping this place as the food is bland and tasteless, even by hungry teenage boy's standards. The two stars of this review are definitely because staff was great.

Brunch options are the most well known but I think they'd be good for other meal times too. I personally got the Liege Belgian waffle with strawberries, banana, and whip cream and I thought it was absolutely amazing. The pearl sugar, the textures, and flavors! One of my favorite waffles I've ever had. I will be thinking about this whenever I crave a waffle in the future. Just the right amount of sweetness and crunch! My friend got the Hash Smash bowl. I got to taste a small bite and I found the aioli sauce to be delicious. Speaking of sauces, they have hot sauce buckets with a bunch of different ones to try. I found that very nice that they offer that and let people try a bunch of sauces they otherwise might not have had that chance to try otherwise. Also very interesting and unexpected that they happen to have boba drinks in this part of town. FYI though, their boba isn't soaked in syrup so it's bland if your drink isn't quite sugar heavy enough itself. Highly recommend the restaurant look into that and soak their bobas to take the drinks to the next level. Lastly, their menu seems to change quite often and the pics on yelp don't reflect the current menu anymore. You may see dishes/drinks missing or on there that you didn't expect.

Thai tea coffee was delectable and the skillet dish had a phenomenal breakfast sauce. Beautifully cooked eggs and perfect heat. We sat outside and our server was Bart himself, such a nice guy. The interior is cute too. I wouldn't recommend the chicken in waffles because the syrup was overwhelming and the sugar bits in the waffle made it wayy too sugary. The chicken was juicy but I wanted more seasoning in the batter. Overall not bad! Just order that hashmash dish

After having pulled an all-nighter then stopping by Four Corners before breakfast, we were both hungry and the street designers, combined with navigation difficulties led me to play "ask a local", who guided us to #thelonespurcafe. The decor was pretty cool and reminded us of an old-western man cave. Having multiple factors working against me, my narcolepsy and cataplexy on full blast and I was actually afraid to fall asleep at the table especially as REM intrusions can't be fought off easily. Thankfully the coldness of the iced tea along with chugging water helped the sleepiness. I ran this review a little differently than usual, directing this review towards our waitress, Stevie, who turned out to be a good sport despite my playing the difficult but friendly customer. If you've never worked as a server, you really shouldn't judge them harshly on little mistakes (like forgetting a drink - what's more important is that they remember at some point soon after!!) because the job is much harder than it seems and there's a lot going on behind the scenes that customers don't know . The bowl of chili (smaller than we expected) accompanied by the biscuit restored my energy and turned out to be the perfect 1 pm breakfast! Definitely 4/5. We're looking forward to coming back for some real breakfast in the future... #gourmetrecovery #sundayrestaurantreview #narcolepsyawareness #cataplexyawareness #benicetowaitstaff

The wait for a table was about 30 minutes, but we spent the time walking around the area, so it went by quickly. Once seated, we found ourselves in a tiny dining room and bar with walls covered in license plates from different states. We turned it into a fun little "I Spy" game while waiting for our food. We started with the Chips and Salsa Fresca, which was fresh and delicious. For our main meal, we ordered tacos -- the #1 El Diablo, #5 Esteban Special, and #6 Fish Tacos. The chipotle sauce on the El Diablo was phenomenal, and the grilled fish in the fish tacos was some of the tastiest I've had. The staff was fantastic as well. My daughter ordered the Chips w/ Cheese (nachos) from the kids' menu and unfortunately didn't like them at all. When we mentioned it to our server, she genuinely cared and quickly made things right by removing the item from our bill. Next time I'm in Pagosa, I'll definitely be coming back to this gem of a place.

Maybe for a food truck this is okay but for a sit-down restaurant I find this unacceptable. I ordered the smothered green chili cheeseburger and left hungry and unimpressed. The patties were over done and came with cheese and sauce. The bun might have been store bought. For $21 (after taxes and 3% credit card fee), one should not have to leave hungry. To top off the insult, the chips they serve you are just a bag of Miss Vickie's chips! Yes! $21 for a burger that doesn't even come with homemade chips. I just couldn't believe it. Every other restaurant would serve you either piping hot fries or homemade chips with a burger that's priced that high. The whole experience felt more like an overpriced city food truck than a sit-down restaurant. We had plans to go to the Creede location but definitely going to skip it. I don't know if this is an attempt at recouping lost revenue from pandemic but if you're going to charge $21 plus tip for a burger then at least serve it with fresh chips or fries and don't use plastic silverware and paper plates. But if you're going to use bagged chips and paper plates, price your burger at $10 not $19.
