He didn't do anything but lay on the floor after we got home. It was almost like they didn't stitch or glue or anything to the incision. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet just 3 hours after I brought him home.

Positive for parasites(not that uncommon) the following day pulled 3 inch round worms out of its butt. So caring about the rest of the litter I called to let her know so she could be pro-active, but she blamed me, like a intestinal worm could grow 3 inches in 3or 4 days. Then the puppy kept getting sicker ended up in a 24hr ER vet. His parasites were so bad he had to stay 3 days and was on antibiotics for another week. Once again she blames me. In the conversations she never once even asked how the puppy was or anything about him or what he was going through. That was my experience with GPB. But I left out one thing; I'm 51, and I've had Boxers since my first one at age 2. My father raised Boxers, I've raised Boxers and I rescued Boxers owning more then I can count. And I LOVE the Boxer breed.

We have been going to this vet office for years and it was always a pleasant experience. Even on…read morethe toughest visits - like putting a beloved animal down, they were warm and caring. Sadly this is not the case any longer. There is a palpable difference now that hits you upon entering. Gone are the warm smiles of the staff who often knew your pets name and in their place now exists a cold, almost annoyed reception usually reserved for DMV appointments. The Doctors now also seem very mechanical. We just had the painful experience of losing our second dog but this time around there was no warmth or understanding from the folks here; I received more warmth from patrons in the waiting room. I don't know if this is a new ownership, steward or management issue but the atmosphere shift is very noticeable. We have switched vets. Oh and to boot we have not received a single word or note of condolences from them regarding our loss. They know our pet passed. Apparently they don't care. Never stepping foot in there again.
