Took him into another local vet last week who basically wanted us to go see oncologist after they did a needle biopsy and it was inconclusive. Or do labs etc. the vet office was charging a large amount. I talked to a friend who recommended Paw Project. I had never heard about it. Let me say the value of the labs was significantly cheaper and the appointments were not too far out. Was able to come in for the service we needed for a fraction of the cost. Everyone was super friendly; and took amazing care of our sweet boy. His labs came out great,

After the exam, I was told straight up that my dog didn't need dental cleaning, so I could not book the service. I decided to purchase heartworm preventatives using their online pharmacy, but after EIGHT attempts in a month to get the medication, the order was rejected EVERY SINGLE TIME by their veterinarian. Each time the reason was that there was a prescription on file already so they could not approve an order request, but there WAS no prescription on file to begin with. All I can assume is that Pawproject wants my dog to get heartworm infection and die. I hate Pawproject and will report them to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Don't go there.

Pet Express location lacks good customer service…read more I waited at least 20 minutes after ringing the bell for service. I was never acknowledged and no one came out. When the vet came out she totally ignored me and I had to let her know I had rung the bell and was waiting. She said it will be five minutes have a seat. As if I was some dog or something she could order around. How about saying "Good morning. I'm sorry for your wait. We are pretty busy. I will be with you shortly and thank you for your patience.just horrible customer service. Then, I also said "I'm sorry you're having a bad day, but you could at least acknowledge that I'm here." Of course, she was nasty in her response and said I'm having a wonderful day. Nevertheless, I stayed because I had a question about service for my pup. In the end, I could not get the service because of a needed appointment to reestablish my pup after not being seen in a year with Banfield. No worries. Yet, I'm sure if she wanted to, my pup would have had her anal glands expressed. I know my insistence to be treated as a person rubbed her the wrong way. Hopefully, she won't treat anyone else as she treated me. However, there was a young man there waiting for his pup and he told me they're bad in terms of customer service and he experienced the same rudeness while he was waiting for his time to be seen or acknowledged. Very sad that front line employees and veterinary personnel are so rude to their customers.

We are not pet lovers in any stretch of the imagination. We only own for the most part turtles and pet fish. But the things you do when you love your kids right? We pass by the pet store daily and decided to stop in with our daughter. It is a fairly tight space but they make good use of it. There are lots of cute puppies of various breeds and the employees including the owner who is very present gave us a quick break down on "puppy ownership 101". We were surprised that dog ownership can be on the pricey side especially the ones as young as the puppies(2,000+). But this place does give you a lot of value for the cost. They offer free classes for the life of your pets to teach you how to potty train, overall take care and other various areas of pet ownership and it's never a cost as long as you purchased your pet from their store. They have lots of accessories to go with your purchase including a fence that you can put inside of your home and of course several varieties of dog food as well as travel gear. All of the animals appear be well taken care of and we love the fact that they are a Christian owned establishment and they are very vocal about that. They also do not purchase dogs from what's called a puppy mills, or shady dog breeding companies. So that's good to know and they also include proof of lineage with each pet purchase. We are not ready to take the leap and become pet owners yet but this place appears to be a very good option and the employees look like they really care about the well-being of every animal that sets foot in here.

The tech came out and greeted us and asked what time I could return to pick him up. Pick him up? I thought this was a shot. She explained that there were a couple of sick animals ahead of us. She told me to come back in "a couple hours or we will give you a call." The more I think about it, the more it really just doesn't make sense from an efficiency standpoint, not to mention my poor pup being put through additional unnecessary stress for what should take 5-10 minutes. Let's hope all those other sick animals don't get him sick while he's waiting back there with his 14-year-old self. Find somewhere else to go. These guys really just don't have it together.

Do not bring your dog here to get groomed…read more When I first walked in, 2 out of 3 employees didn't even greet me or say hello. All at the counter. Their demeanor immediately felt negative. I know that had nothing to do with me personally because it was my first time there, but it still wasn't a great first impression. If you aren't happy get another job.Yuck! My Yorkie who gets a salon treatment every two weeks. I normally take him to a Brazilian groomer. They're more expensive, but I've never had an issue. He always comes out smelling so, so, so good, and they brush his teeth and do everything for $69. I was trying to save a little money and figured PetSmart would be convenient since it's closer. I paid $59 for the upgraded service. Unfortunately, my dog came out with wet ears and still smelling bad. When I asked about his ears, the groomer gave me an explanation for why they were still wet, but it didn't make me feel any better about the situation. And there's one other thing that really bothered me. When I brought him into the salon, he was trying to run back out the door. He has never done that at the Brazilian groomer not even at the vet, where he gets shots. I'm not saying I know exactly what happened, but I do believe dogs pick up on energy and vibes. My dog clearly did not want to be there, and that alone was enough for me to pay attention. For me, the extra $10 wasn't worth it. Sorry didn't snap a picture with his ugly wet ears.
