In fact, it really has put me off from visiting ANY T-Mobile store in person ever again. The other employees in store were pleasant, but I also understand they had a job to do and that's to drive sales, something that became apparent when the supervisor/ manager stepped out onto the salesfloor. I also understand that I, like many others, may come off as indecisive/too particular/ difficult when it comes to making a purchase, but this should not be a factor in how one is treated by an employee. With that being said, onto the review... When I interacted with the supervisor/ manager, they were not pleasant at all. I'm all for a person having a bad day, as we all have from time to time, but this person seemed like they had a chip on their shoulder or something. After attempting to trade in my old device, I explained to the supervisor/ manager that I was in the market for an upgrade. I ended up going for a device that was a bit pricier than I wanted, but this is where things went downhill. I'm very understanding that the main goal of a business such as T-Mobile is to drive sales and build business, but as a consumer, we also have a right to opt out of extra accessories and options if we choose to do so. To have this individual insist in a aggressive manner that I would be getting a protection plan on my new device multiple times as they walked away to the storeroom after I stated I did not wish to add one onto my plan was not only rude, but very unprofessional. At one point, their POS system went down and I ended up placing my order online for pickup in store. It seemed like the supervisor/ manager's demeanor shifted as they could not pressure me into adding the protection plan onto my device. The supervisor/ manager then went to grab the device from the storeroom. Once they came back out, they did not hand me the device, but set the box on the table in front of me. The supervisor/manager informed me of an accessory payment plan that I qualified for, which I was somewhat aware of prior to visiting in-store, but wasn't too keen on purchasing in-store. At this point, they then grabbed the most expensive accessories from the salesfloor and brought them over to the table where I was seated and proceeded to start installing the accessories on my device. I told the supervisor/ manager that I preferred a different phone case than the one they selected at a lower price point (they selected a nearly $60 accessory when the one I selected was 2x cheaper). Again, the supervisor/manager's demeanor shifted once again. Eventually, I was finally about to leave the store and then the supervisor/manager perked up somewhat as they were asking me to fill out a survey based on my experience in-store. I could've posted this immediately after, but honestly, it's really the bad/negative experiences that tend to stick out the most. In good faith I cannot recommend anyone visit this location.
