When your entire shopping experience is spent in the check out line something is WRONG! One person on the register is ridiculous!

I purchased a bottle of Nautica Voyage cologne from Burlington in College Park, Ga on 7/10/23 and left it on my bathroom counter in the bag with the receipt. On 7/25/23 I decided to open it and to my dismay the bottle had leaked in the bag making my receipt unreadable and it had no plastic tube on the inside of the bottle so that it can't be sprayed. I tried to exchange it the same day and was told I could not because 1st I've had it to long I should have noticed earlier that it was leaking said one of the managers and 2nd I can't return a fragrance that's not in the original package so they can resale it. I asked how can you resale a defective product? How would I know if it's defective until I open it? Burlington refused to exchange it. I called customer service and was told the same thing. How do you sell an obvious defective product and the only way to see if it's defective is to open it up and then tell a customer we can't take it back because it's open. Make it make sense, so now you've taken my money and I'm stuck with a product I cannot use. read more

1 star is a requirement so I will give them that but the staff is horrible. I have lived in the area for the last 2 years but this location is less than 5 minutes away from my new house so I have been here more frequently. BIG MISTAKE! I should have continued to go to the Burlington on the North End of ATL. The staff here is so UNPROFESSIONAL! I stood in line last night and watched a cashier hold the progress of customer's checking out while she flirted with a male customer. Took her time while she gave him her number. The next customer was a woman who was rushed through her check out with barely a hello. Customer after that....another man and another delay. I'm next and when I have some questions about my return she huffs and points to the sign on the counter and attempts to tell me to read it. Sorry lady but I asked a question, just answer it. The extra is not needed. She irked me so bad that instead of showing out I returned everything I bought including the layaway I picked up for my fluffy baby. I will take my money to other places. This Burlington won't get another penny from me. read more

This Burlington store located in the Old Market Place shopping center on Old National Highway was so bright, neat and tidy that i felt they must have known i was coming. I can honestly say that on the day i visited which was a Thursday evening around 8:30pm, the store was practically emptied out of customers and i was so HAPPY! I was able to casually stroll around the store without dodging unattended kids, loud cell phone talkers and overly aggressive women giving me the stink eye while i scan the racks in the men's department. I bought a cool pair of black Calvin Klein dressed shoes for about $48 and had plans to pick up 5 pairs of socks to maintain my funky sock game for another $10. The socks were $2.99 each but you can get 5 pairs for the low low price of $9.99. No sooner do i get comfortable popping tags in this Southside could-be flagship metropolis when i hear the announcement that the store was closing in 13 minutes, thirty minutes sooner than the advertised time of 9:30PM. Oops, lost a star! What kind of Walmart late night pajama wearing stuck in the check cashing line forever rotten halibut trickery is going on? Nevertheless, being the well mannered gentleman i claim to be, i proceeded to the checkout registers, forked over the dollars and walked out the door disappointed that i didn't get more time to shop. I'll be back again sometime soon but in the meantime, keep it clean and tidy Burlington because i'm recommending neat freaks like me visit your store. read more

They sit next to the LA Fitness on Old National and I realized I needed a pair of socks right before I went into the gym. I guess this is a newer store, because it doesn't have that "everything from China" smell that some of the older stores have when you walk it. The store is well lit and spacious. I couldn't find anyone to help me, but I was looking for socks, so it wasn't like I needed much help. Got in line and there were six people in front of me and only two registers open at 3 in the afternoon. Burlington still offers layaway and it seems as if everyone in the line was putting stuff on layaway, which held up the line even more. I can only imagine how slow its going to be once the holidays are upon. One lady was buying some baby bottles, and the box had an inventory control tag on it. It actually took two employees working on it to get it off the box. If you are looking for Atlanta Falcons gear, this is a good place to come. The baseball caps are priced at $12 and the tshirts are priced at $10. Much better than mall or sports store pricing. read more

Visited 3/13/18 I visit this location a few times per month, but this visit was important because I completely forgot that tomorrow is picture day for my son. I was pleasantly surprised to find a cute print outfit for him. My oldest son was able to find a few clothing items in the Men's section. While waiting for my children to try-on their items, I got a really sharp pain in my side. I leaned over the buggy waiting for the pain to subside, an older gentleman asked me if I were ok or needed some help. I told him I was ok. Still waiting for my Children, the same gentleman went to a Sales Associate to check on me. I was so surprised with the level of concern the gentleman and the Sales Associate provided. This location is always stocked! I mean in excess of clothing and great housewares item. The lines can be ridiculously long but being patient is the key. read more

I am contacting you because I just left your store located at 6425 old national highway, college park Georgia. The manager/Courtney was the rudest person and is not doing your business any favors by being there at approximately 7:30pm Sunday may 22nd. I was waiting in line for 30 minutes and Courtney opened up a register I proceeded to the register and said "hello how are you doing" in which she yelled in here. She than began to violently ring up my clothes by slamming them on the counter and tossing them around. At some point she took the watch I purchased and kept slamming it onto the security device until she cracked the watch she even knocked over her water bottle because she was tossing the clothes around on the register. After paying for my clothes I noticed the watch was crack and brought it to her attention. She claimed she did it by mistake but clearly her mood and nasty attitude lead up to her slamming the watch. I asked to be refunded the watch and asked for a manager and she said she is the manager. This is totally unacceptable. read more

I like this Burlington. It's rarely overcrowded. I see people complaining about it but try going to some of the others & you truly will wait in line. This place is what it is. I'm not expecting Tiffany's treatment from a bargain retailer. However, my perception of customer service has declined over the years anyway. We have gone from stop following me around the store to why isn't anyone following me around the store?! read more

I've been in this store several times and have not been disappointed. It's always clean and bright and the staff has always been great. The only negative I have would be that they need to stock more children clothes. But considering it's the Christmas season I might have just gone in at the wrong time. read more

THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL! This was my first experience at a Burlington Coat Factory and I'm hooked! I got a ton of beautiful clothes for my student teaching position at a GREAT price, all while being taken care of so sweetly by the staff! I recently made a purchase at this location and was treated so rudely by an employee, by the name of Shanell, who stated she was the manager. While at the counter to get checked out, my sales associate, Danayah walked off and proceeded to hang up hangers on a stand. I thought this is odd, since there is a line of customers....after 3 minutes passed I'm still standing there waiting, while she hangs hangers. I asked the sales associate (Shanell) next to her what was going on, and she rudely stated, "she is supposed to hang up hangers in between customers, she is doing exactly what she is supposed to do!" Really??? While customers wait in line, hangers are a priority!! I asked for a manager, and she stated she (Shantell) was the manager. I told her I will be filing a corporate complaint, because if management doesn't care about the needs of a customer, maybe a higher up needs to be aware. So sad!! read more
