I brought my son here for his 3rd birthday and was impressed. We arrived at opening on a Saturday and were able to park easily. We completed the forms using the QR code by checkout. Then the person working the entrance explained the process to us with ease. After paying and buying food for the animals, we walked around. There were many more animals here than I realized and my son loved it! The place is messy (animals don't exactly use a toilet) and I recommend bringing your messy shoes or rain boots. My son's favorite part was probably the pony ride. I noticed that they do private events. Overall, it's a fun place to visit!

The absolute cutest thing I've ever done with my toddler. They had so many more animals than we expected. THE STAFF, I cannot say enough good things about them, you can tell they all really love their job. Had a guy jump out of the pond and come over to us to show us some baby turtles. We will be back!

My visit to Cathy's Critters was absolutely wonderful! I went horseback riding and had such a relaxing, enjoyable ride on their beautiful, well-cared-for horses. Afterward, I got to meet and pet so many adorable animals each one sweet, gentle, and clearly loved. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were kind and knowledgeable, and the whole experience felt like a peaceful little escape. I'd highly recommend Cathy's Critters to anyone looking for a fun, hands-on animal adventure!

What an unbelievable evening we had! The staff was all so friendly and helpful. Everyone is so full of knowledge and willing to share facts about each of the animals. We never felt rushed or like or we were a bother. This was just an all around fantastic experience.

Cathy's Critters is a gem! I went there to chaperone my son's 1st grade field trip and then sent both my kids (7, 10) to camp for the summer. It is an amazing facility that has a "home farm" feel that teaches the children to become familiar with all kinds of domestic and exotic animals. I could not think of a better way to teach children. Far and away this was my kids #1 vote for favorite camp for the Summer.

We loved our time at Cathy's Critters! Our grandkids really enjoyed getting up close and touching the animals. The volunteers were great in telling us about the different animals. Can't wait to bring them back!

STAFF FRIENDLINESS 4 ATMOSPHERE 4 VALUE FOR MONEY 5 CLEANLINESS 3 I liked: Friendly stuff, close to my house, different cute animals, huge area, food for animals and sanitizers are provided. I did not like: Dirty, smelly, animal droppings. It looked like a neglected farm. I felt sorry for the poor animals! My experience could be much better if it was not so smelly and dirty at Cathy's Critters. Comments: I would advise cleaning this place better. Flies were flying everywhere. A bad smell was spreading through the whole area. I had a feeling to leave this place fast.

Adorable place for my toddlers. We had so much fun as a family with pony rides and hay rides around the farm. I loved the sheep and donkeys the most. They loved to eat- and I loved that we could by food to feed the animals. We spent hours going up and down and around again. It is not that big and some animals aren't accessible but it was fun I just hope they put more signs up since we were confused as we entered.

My boyfriend and I went here today. It is so much fun! Open area with animals all around. Fenced in area with petting zoo is adorable. Great place to take kids or have fun on a day date with animals lol.

Omg! My kids loved this place! I highly recommend going early when they open and to wear rain boots! The amount of animals they have is great as well as the variety. The price to get in is basically free from where I've been before. The staff is friendly there's lots of space and the animals seem happy and not caged up. My favorite was the baby bottle feed with the goats, my girls loved the pony ride! Definitely will be back!

PUMPKIN PATCH (2023)…read more Found this little local gem on Yelp. The reviews were older, but we were in the area so we took a gamble and drove over (2023) for the pumpkin patch. For $5 you get to park your car in the adjacent lot and gain admission to their little fair (we had cash, not sure if they accept credit or debit). There were a bunch of pumpkin displays, free hayride, kid activities, vendors selling local goods (knits, clothing, baked goods, soaps, popcorn, honey, etc.), and a haunted maze for $2 admissions within the grounds. Some of the activities require additional cost (like the pumpkin painting for the kids). They have chickens roaming around the property (they usually stay near their little chicken coop in the far back). The free hayride was fun, just a little ride around their property- nothing spectacular. The kids on our tour ride seem to enjoy it :P If you're looking to spend about 40 mins or less at a pumpkin patch, this is the place to go!

I came here because a few of my clients highly recommended Lola's Market to me because of its quality & super friendly customer service. Plus it is local & who doesn't love fresh & local things? She has clear signs before you enter the property to make sure everyone is safe. I love it maybe because I'm a big "sign" person. Haha This is NOT a Zoo, please don't chase her animals & respect her simple & basic rules for not doing so. Just like you want people to respect your own house rules & you don't want people squeezing & chasing your children (well, at least I don't). Pets are not allowed inside so they don't try to chase/fight/eat her chickens for instance. My dog would love to do that, but he didn't as he was kept in the car & enjoyed the beautiful country view from there. :) This is a very stylish country place with a lot love, time & energy spent into it. Everyone with an open mind, respectful attitude & a open heart is welcome. Even if you just want to stop by to say hello. Mona & her animals will be happy to see you. Her deco is cute, but no it is NOT for sale. Most of the cute things there was given to Mona by old friends, customers & her grandmother. We love the fact that she shares it with us & we have the opportunity to admire it. Everything has a story behind & meaning. I highly recommend her place, it is very unique & welcoming. It is too sad that people are entitled & go out of there way to try to damage a person's dream & hard work. Some people have absolutely NO idea what it takes to run a successful business. Ignore the hate & very negative things people have to say. Don't even take my word for it. Go there & check it out for yourself. You'll love it too especially if you have learned how to appreciate the value of simple things in life. Mona, I just want to say thank you very much for you being who you are & for keeping the doors open to serve us fresh & local produce. There are many people out there looking for what you have to offer & we are very grateful for your hard work. Your place is a gem & we can't recommend it enough, Linda

Her mama is unique and doesn't do things like everyone else and I knew from the moment I found this company that I wanted them to come to the party! Best decision ever! Richard and his crew were amazing! Down to earth, patient, and so willing to work with us to get photos and interact with kids and answer all their questions, all the things! So so happy we were able to have them at the party! It was super hard to choose which animals we wanted to meet but here are the ones we chose and how it went: -Sloth: best hugger, sweet, a little slow but we loved him anyway LOL -Spider monkey: arms for days, will work for pizza ;) -Lemur: one grape for him and one grape for me -Asian leopard cat: shy and takes a bit to warm up, but absolutely beautiful -Crocodile: was definitely a little more scared in person than I thought I would be, but it was so cool to be able to pet him! -Kangaroo: Didgeredoo was super sweet, gentle, and very easily pleased with Cheerios!

However, the person that was texting me was incredibly terrible at her job so I decided not to give them my business. Extremely disappointing. The first message I sent was telling her all what I wanted, listed above ^ (I also asked if any animals had African origins because the bday is Tarzan theme, I tried to look online but not all descriptions had the animals origins) she asked me the date, I sent it to her (June 20) and she didn't respond. I texted again the next day saying "I can have the party early morning since it will be hot around that time of year" out of concern for the animals because I assumed maybe it would be too hot during the day and that's why she didn't respond (still rude) then she sends me a screenshot of my own message, the one where I told her what I wanted & asked to know if any animals were of African origins, just that message. She goes on to apologize and explains she's checking on the dates "sorry wrong person, I am checking the date" but there was no date in that message that she screenshot. The date was sent after that message so that didn't make sense. I say "haha that's okay, thank you" anyway because I really wanted them at my son's birthday party. She says they don't have the train ride and the movie doesn't work during the day then asks me how many snow cones and cotton candy. I respond and say "I could have the party later 5-9 and 40" she then says that the movie isn't available at all and tells me prices including 40 snow cones ($200) and mileage ($500) mind you, I was texting a Dallas number and I am only an hour and a half away from Dallas. But I was willing to pay the $500 fee anyway if I was going to receive the animals, Hairy Gary and the food truck or wagon still so I asked "would it be the food truck or the wagon?" (to provide snow cones and cotton candy) She says "likely just a set up on a table so we don't have to haul an extra trailer" I'd just go buy a snow cone machine if I wanted a simple set up. The prices made no sense, she was short, offering no clear explanation or apology as to why certain things weren't available, she kept changing her reason for not being able to provide what I wanted and never answered the question about the animals origins either. It was incredibly confusing and disheartening. I will not be suggesting them to anyone. I'm giving two stars because at least the options for animals are great, though you might not get much else they offer!

The boys quickly discovered which animals were 'bad boys' (their words) who clamped their jaws on the food bucket and pulled it out of their hands--Zebras and Camels--and which animals had insatiable appetittes-- Ostriches and Llamas! After winding through the safaris, seeing hundreds of beautiful animals and feeding many, we stopped for a walk through the Safari Trading Post. The boys fed a giraffe and Budgies (separate food needed), explored the pond, petted goats and browsed the Safari Trading Post. Despite the Texas heat, many animals were out and actively looking for free food while others soaked in the ponds. Hearing the boys screaming and laughing and seeing their smiles was priceless! A fantastic find--we've already planned another trip!

What an awesome deal. During 2020 COVID hell, this was the happiest day we've had in ... a while…read more I saw All About Animals somewhat randomly on Groupon, and it piqued my interest immediately. We'd been trying to figure out what to do for both kids' birthdays this summer with the no-normal-parties bummer going on. Maybe we could do a masked-up animal show n tell on the back patio...? So I called Cindi (owner of All About Animals) after reading up on her website. She was generally doing online only stuff and was NOT doing birthday parties. I totally understood, I said - we weren't about to have a bunch of kids over right now. But would she do a "private" show n tell for just our 4-person family? She would. Score! Outdoors is too hot for some of the animals during the Texas summer, so we set up inside, with a table for her and 4 chairs facing the table, about 8-10' away. The agreement was she'd be masked up the entire time and so would we. She also left her shoes at the door, which we didn't even ask her to do. The kids loved it. We loved it. It was... just perfect. We picked 10 critters and geared it towards ones we could touch and often hold. The pictures don't show all 10, but dude... it was just awesome. Fun AND highly educational. If you're an animal person AND can be safe and respectful during this time, I HIGHLY recommend this. The kids were immediately asking when the next time Ms Cindi could come over again with her animals. Just... awesome!
