No matter if patient hasn't been able to make an appointment and cancels the fact that the office front desk asian woman refused future service to someone this is bad business all around. That should tell patients how they treat you. You are just another dollar sign and if you dont bring money per appointment they will refuse service on you for canceling! I'm sorry but going to a dentist may be important but we all have lives that dont involve going to the dentist every three months. We are busy dealing with our daily routines and when the pandemic is happening this is just completely bad business! Its messed up the office receptionist scheduler said this to a patient! I've been coming to Dr. Pham for my teeth for half a year now and I def don't see myself finding another dentist. I needed to find a new dentist because I just moved here. Dr. Cathy Pham is my favorite dentist in the world! I've been seeing her for 17 years. Ever since I was young, she took care of all my dental care needs - teeth cleaning, cavities, and even repaired a chipped tooth (I was a rough kid)! She's caring, gentle, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She gives the best patient care and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Her office in Alameda is also really cozy and kid-friendly. There's a TV with cartoon movies and the wait is usually not too long. Her office staff is really friendly and accommodates your schedule - they're open Saturday. It's also close to Chinatown so I like to drop by afterward to grab a bite to eat. Since I try not to eat before seeing her, I'm usually famished when I leave so it's the perfect location! Love this place, love Dr. Cathy Pham - she's the best! read more

I want to start by saying I typically avoid going to the dentist at all costs, but I was in terrible pain so my friend referred me to Dr. Pham. They were able to see me right away and fixed my dental issues immediately and effectively. What I like most about their office is that I didn't feel judged for skipping the dentist for a couple years, and they were considerate about what my insurance would cover. They even texted me a few days later to make sure my teeth were feeling better. Overall I feel like they have my best interest in mind and truly care. I've been back since for some follow up work and I'm so happy to have healthy teeth and not dread or avoid visiting the dentist. read more

Drs. Pham and staff are great! They have been taking care of my teeth for over 10 years and I couldn't be happier. I had a front tooth that was really small compared to my other teeth. Absolutely generous and caring. They take good care of their clients very well. I have been with them for 2 years and they really treated my family like their family which is rare for any dental office. They build such good relationship for their clients to be comfortable. I love the all the staff! Throughout the years, I must say that they are the best dental office I have ever had. I have never felt any pain for any of the treatments I have done. I used to go to Dr. Cathy Pham in 2011. Dr. Cathy Pham is alright, but I felt that she was judgmental and condescending with me. Not only that, but I felt that I had procedures done that were very costly, more than $1000, which I later found out were not necessary after changing dentist. I had to pay for all these procedures out of the pocket and I was told by Cindy and Dr. Pham that I really needed these cleaning procedures otherwise I would have to get a surgery. But when I went to my new dentist, apparently everything was fine and there was no need for any sort of expensive cleaning. So I would not recommend Dr. Pham and Dr. Nicole who works with her as well :( . read more

Dr. Pham spent over two hours in my mouth working on a root canal. She did a wonderful job. I never felt an once of pain, she was very gentle and explained what she was doing as she did it. The whole staff is wonderful, Cindy, who was the first person to greet me is both professional and relational when speaking to you. Every time i visit the location, she remembers my name, ok sometimes she calls me Gary, instead of Greg, but thats close enough. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Phams office to all my friends. read more

My first dentist! Been with them for over 10 years. I didn't see a dentist till I started working and insurance covers 2 cleanings a year. I remember I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled during first 2 appointments. I thought that was crazy but considered I had never gone to a dentist before, she has to be right. Indeed, that was the correct decision I made to get my wisdom teeth pulled. A lot of people including my family have lost teeth and that's due to wisdom teeth push forward as explained by Dr. Pham. As for the cost, I did them in two separate years. Cindy was helpful and understand what's the best way to lower the cost. Whether it's health spending account or what insurance covers. I was one of Dr. Cathy's first patients, when she started. I was terrified of dentists. I had to sit and let my blood pressure go down. After the first procedure was done, I was no longer terrified. So much had to be done. I went back so many times. She fixed me up,redid the old fillings and a few root canals. I had heard about root canals and was not feeling good about it. Dr. Cathy Pham has been our family dentist for more than 10 years. My squirmy 5 year old wouldn't even open his mouth at other pediatric dentist offices. Dr. Pham is gentle and incredible with him and now his smile is out of this world. Recently, he suffered a fall at school and we were lucky that she saw him within 1 hour of the accident. She gave him a thorough exam and took x-rays advised us to monitor the teeth to ensure good bone health. She is careful and deliberate in her approach and an absolutely thoughtful dentist. Usually the dentist visit is pretty nerve-racking. From scheduling appointment through the cleaning it was an amazing experience. Cindy was the woman who took my phone call and scheduled my appointment, she kindly greeted me when I arrived. She kept me company and talked to me about her favorite restaurant which I plan to check out. While I was in the chair waiting for the Dr.Pham Cindy showed me plastic display model of a mouth and explain to me some of the terminology I may be hearing. She was funny, she was kind. When Dr. Pham examined my teeth she was very careful not to hurt me and she was eager to explain what she was doing and why she was doing it.
