Dr. Osibin did an excellent job pulling a molar; fast, painless, efficient. I received a very light iv sedation, although I was awake. My only criticism, and it is significant, is that he forgot to include the "bone graft" which would have prepared the area for a future implant. When I realized this , later in the day, I contacted the office. Dr. Osibin was evasive and never admitted to forgetting. I was not angry but he should have apologized. That's all I wanted. read more

I recently (today 02/19/2025) just had the major part of oral surgery prepping for an implant by Dr. Osibin. I must say it was flawlessly perfect. And, I don't use that word lightly. The entire experience with DR. Osibin and his fantastic staff from start to finish were exemplary. The procedure was quick and easy...at least on my part. The DR. gave me anesthesia where I felt like it took about 10 minutes. However, I guess I drifted in and out of sleep. And, seriously. I felt NO PAIN whatsoever. He did a fantastic job as I saw the x-ray after. Post was perfectly placed. If you need oral surgery. This man is the guy to go to! My regular dentist recommended someone else. However, I did a little homework and decide to go to Dr. Osibin after my consultation with him and staff. I want to give a BIG Shout out the the front desk staff, Richelle & Shannell prior to the procedure. I called a few time. Great follow-up. I had a cracked tooth back in June. My general dentist referred me to an endodontist for a root canal. During the root canal, the endodontist told me the crack is too deep, the best option would be an extraction and implant. I then found Dr. Osibin. Met with him for a consultation at the end of June. Dr. Osibin is knowledgeable. He was very patient with me, explained the procedure in an easy to understand way so I know exactly what to expect. On the day of the extraction, I went in feeling nervous, having heard all kinds of scary stories about tooth extraction. His staff/assistants were polite, cheerful, made me feel totally at ease. Surgery went smoothly. I took ibuprofen for the first day, and I was barely in pain the next day. I cannot believe how well it went! I was nervous after watching multiple videos on YouTube on wisdom teeth extractions, but the key is looking for an oral surgeon who is both experienced and comforting. I'm very glad my general dentist referred me here. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on the same day and the pain was surprisingly minimal. Dr. Osibin and his assistants were very friendly, which helped reduce the nervousness. Definitely made me feel more at ease. They called a few hours after the procedure to check on me, which I was grateful for. Eating soft foods and smoothies was a bit of a drag, but fortunately, I was able to heal fast and resume my normal diet within a week. I highly recommend him. read more

Because of a switch in insurance I was left without a dentist and was lucky enough to be referred to Dr Osibin. He is some distance from me but well worth the travel time due to his professionalism, chair side manner and expert care. He was able to extract a tooth and do the implant all in one appointment. In the past I've had to do this in two steps over many months. After this experience I had a friend and my sister ask me to ask his advice on their situations and they'll be headed to him next time for consultation and procedures. Office is always efficient and we prefer to coordinate insurance to come here. The only issue is helping your family with interpretation. Staff will rush instead of allow you to interpret properly even if you ask them to pause; they will keep talking over you in English instead and do not offer a professional interpreter. After my review above, the same staff got ready to wrap up the appointment for my mother in a pleasant manner and the surgeon approached us in the room to acknowledge my review and inquire about what transpired that led to my above content. It became an unpleasant experience with the way I received feedback for my feedback by the specific staff but she nonetheless helped my mother out very gently to the car. Here is my overall feedback based on my own experiences as a healthcare worker for clinics in NYC, Philadelphia, and the Bay Area and currently with a major hospital system: 1) Quality Assurance: survey how customers of different backgrounds and language abilities experience service at the office and through phone calls with all levels of staff. For us, it has always been a great experience with customer service from front desk staff, to those rooming us into the room and the surgeons despite DDS changes over the years. The only issue we ever had was today and it's something that can be resolved with more systems training for staff to work with interpretation with more empathy. There is one particular staff during several visits who always ask what my mother's English level is and will coordinate efforts around that during appointments, which is appreciated. 2) Complaints: set aside staff resources to address feedback in a more appropriate setting and manner. A follow up phone call probably would've been more productive to obtain feedback for quality improvement. It's disruptive to the clinic, other patients, and even myself when we are getting ready to leave the office while my mother is still weaning from her medication from surgery. It's unpleasant to pay almost $800 out of pocket for an awaited service and coordinate your schedule to have it end with an unpleasant back-and-forth with staff about what transpired. It's also reasonable for the same staff to become defensive when receiving feedback directly from a client in front of her boss when she actually does a good job overall and has a schedule to adhere to. The overall visit was actually good and I would still recommend this office to others. I would've only preferred if the review was handled better by all parties with more established protocols. On the other hand I can see the surgeons genuine desire to resolve issues as I'm sure he wants all patients to have a good experience. read more

Just got done with my 2 wisdom tooth extractions with Dr. Osibin. He made me feel comfortable from our first meeting at my consultation to the day I got my teeth pulled. He had such a positive energy to him that made all my nervousness go away and made me feel at ease. All his assistants were so nice and helpful and made sure I was doing alright each time. I was dreading getting my wisdom teeth pulled and I am so glad I did! It was such a fantastic experience which is not what you typically hear in the same sentence as wisdom teeth and being pulled, but it was! Dr. O is awesome - he is friendly and makes you feel comfortable which is so important for me because I hate going to the dentist. The staff are all really friendly as well and down to earth, too! I didn't have any swelling after my extractions and healed fairly quickly, not upset about ice cream being my main meal for a few days. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Osibin and staff. I was referred here for an impacted tooth that was nearly in my nose. The surgery began promptly at 8:40am and didn't take long to complete at all. I was given clear instructions to take home, which I followed, and experienced no post-op pain, at all! This was a really great place to go to for wisdom teeth extraction. The idea of having my wisdom teeth taken out gave me a lot of anxiety because I was unsure of the process. During the first consultation they show you an informative video on the process of getting your wisdom teeth extracted. This answered all my questions and calmed my fears going in. Dr. Osbin has a very calm nature and this helps when you have a lot of anxiety. Knowing that someone is reassuring you about how easy the process would be is the best help an anxious person can receive. Everyone there is very positive and welcoming and I never once felt out of place so I thank them all for that. I had my wisdom teeth out as an adult because they were giving me some pain and other issues. I also had to get four other molars pulled to help prepare for braces. I called to schedule an appointment and was able to get in pretty quickly without any hiccups. The office is very clean and front desk staff/entire staff is very friendly, nice & accommodating. Dr. OsibIn did my surgery without any complications and I healed up very well. He's very knowledgeable and patient with explaining what to expect pre and post surgery. Recently I went to get my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Osibin. To start off I was really scared about the procedure they gave me 2 options one was being put under general anesthesia or two just do the normal local anesthetic and bc I didn't want to deal with the noise I decided I wanted to go under general anesthesia. I do not regret my decision at all!!! I felt like I was sitting in the chair for 5 minutes! I didn't feel any pain at all when I woke up which was my concern before hand.
