They keep parents updated with weekly notes and photos, provide thoughtful individualized care, and make learning fun through age-appropriate activities. We also love all the special events throughout the year--from pumpkin patches and water days to Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, and the Christmas performance. The teachers are truly involved with the kids, the facility is clean and secure, and the administrative side is easy and well-managed. Most importantly, we feel confident knowing our son is safe, cared for, learning, and having fun every day. We highly recommend Abundant Life Preschool!

The facility is beautiful and the staff from the manager to the janitors are simply outstanding. The Care Partners to a person are friendly, caring and well trained. If anything, they are slightlyl understaffed but almost every business seems to be experiencing issues keeping staff, certainly not a negative as Highgate is continuously recruiting, hiring and training their staff. We have an on-site dining facility with excellent chefs and cooks. The dining area is open from early morning to early evening with a wide variety of menu items and no fixed schedule for the most part. If you want breakfast at 5 PM, they are happy to oblige. Highgate provides handicap accessible transportation to take residents to appointments and occasional shopping excursions. Highgate has a nice gym with equipment as well at common areas for activities such as cards, games and entertainment. I would rate Highgate as a five out of five for all aspects, facility, food, care and attention to residents needs. Wayne H

This review is a little overdue, but I really wanted to acknowledge how wonderful my experience…read morewith Wee Scotty was and how thankful I am to Lynne! I got married about a year ago and Lynne did all my wedding dress alterations. We started with a beautiful dress that was many layers of different types of silk and needed to be altered down to fit me. From the moment I met Lynne, I felt like I was in good hands. She spoke with a lot of experience when recommending the best way to alter the gown, but was also very open and willing to listen. She was even very patient with my mom, who dabbles with sewing, when she attended the first fitting and asked a dozen questions. Scheduling with Lynne was a breeze and very reliable - her assistant was easy to contact over the phone, and they were great about getting a Google Cal invite over as soon as an appointment was booked. Lynne was also extremely responsive via email. I had many a long email chat with Lynne, discussing last-minute concerns, questions, and modifications. She was always very quick to respond, even when it was past working hours, so I felt 100% assured throughout the entire process. I had many fittings along the way, to ensure that all of the work we were doing was still how I wanted it, and to make sure that things fit perfectly before she proceeded. I ended up making quite a few modifications to the dress, including adding removable off-the-shoulder sleeves and adding some volume to the bottom of the gown, and Lynne worked tirelessly to ensure they were all done exactly when she promised them. Lynne also worked with me to create a perfect custom, floor-length cathedral veil in a shade to match my blush-colored dress. Boy did she deliver absolutely beautiful results on all of these fronts! My veil was perfect, better than anything I could find in-store, and my dress turned out to be stunning!! Lynne and her team steamed it to perfection, and added a wonderful bustle system. Overall, I am so so happy to have worked with Lynne on this very special project for my big day. Thank you a million times over to Lynne and her team! I would work with them again in a heartbeat!

Huge thank you's to Tynkertopia's creator, because what she has made, will leave such a legacy in so many kids, and families lives!!! It was our first time in, and will not be our last. My little boy had so much fun crafting with free run of endless loose materials. Something about the place and it's wonderful staff just calms the nervous system, and lets you know you are in a safe space where everyone is encouraged and accepted. The way the staff reacts when your child asks a question, or asks for materials that are not out amongst the thousands that are visibly available is with willingness and kindness. They even went out to the shed to bring in stuffing for the craft my kiddo decided to make as a Christmas present for me. He felt so valued and respected...like his voice mattered inside of Tynkertopia, even though he's a kid. Another thing they do when you walk in the door that was so unique and adds to the feeling that you are welcome there is to give you a tour of where everything is and what's available to do. They introduce you to their fascinating Honey Ant colony, and you can even spot the Queen! Honey Ants are beautiful creatures. Tynkertopia offers nutritious snacks for hungry little tummies. The way they bring you in to this wondrous space makes you feel so at home. This is a non-profit and apparently they just won a couple of awards for (I think it was ) best things to do with kids, and best non-profit and they absolutely deserve both of those.
