They did a treatment on me that made my neck and shoulder (at least temporarily) pain free. They seem to really know their patients and have genuine relationships with them. My complaints are as follows: 1. During my treatment one or both of them entered and exited the treatment room fifteen times. I counted. Which means I wasn't relaxing. 2. How insurance was to be billed/how reimbursement would be requested was confusing and I was uncomfortable with the explanation.

I've been seeing Margaret now for about six months, she was a customer of mine where I work currently. She had come in one day and I had just got back from a chiropractor appointment due to severe neck pain. Even after seeing the chiropractor I still did not have range of motion on my right side. She immediately asked if she can take a feel of my muscles. I allowed her to do so and she gave me some great pointers and offered me a discount to be her new customer. I had always heard about acupuncture and have always wanted to try it but had never done so. She came to me at the perfect time. I booked an appointment with her for the following week and since I've been seeing her, my neck pain has gone down dramatically. With the acupuncture sessions and her tips on different stretches and different recipes to use for diet, I am in really good shape today. Before seeing her I was unable to tilt my head all the way back due to uncomfort and pain. Today, I can tilt my head all the way back with no problems and have no pain. This is extremely exciting for me because I have been dealing with an inverted cervical spine for many years and now that she is my acupuncturist I can honestly say that I am pain-free today. Thank you Margaret so much for your positive energy, your knowledge and your amazing service. For that you deserve a five star!

Dr. Lauren's approach is most effective. Upon my first and continued acupuncture visits, she patiently consulted with me each time to learn more about my body, menstrual cycle, exercise, food habits and beyond. The treatments are painless and her technique is most skilled. She also recommended me herbs for my infertility and those have also been effective, and natural. Dr. Lauren is most personable, kind and understanding. She is also incredibly patient. It is easy to tell she cares deeply for each of her patients and wants to take the time to make sure their needs are being met, whatever the reason. I would highly recommend her for infertility treatments. Thank you Dr. Lauren and we are so grateful to be expanding our family. It has done a lot. What I appreciate most is that she pays real attention, so every session is built around how I'm actually doing that day rather than the same set of points every visit, and she usually picks up on what's off before I've finished explaining it. She knows her protocols well and will walk you through her reasoning if you want to hear it, which made it easy to trust the process early on when I didn't really understand what she was doing. Beyond the skill, she's a genuinely kind person who wants people to get better rather than just get through the appointment, and I'm in a much better place now than when I started because of it.

My primary care physician referred me to Olivia when I was dealing with a temporary yet very…read morebothersome thyroid problem this past summer. Before, I didn't really know much about acupuncture and was skeptical about its powers. In the state I was in, however, I realized I was going to take any kind of help I could get. I just wanted to feel better. I found Olivia to be kind, warm, caring, and knowledgeable. Within five minutes of being in her office, my headache and nausea were completely gone. This is something I really did not expect. At the end of my session, I felt very tired and was even able to take a nap when I got home. Since I was hyperthyroid at the time, this was amazing! I had not been able to properly sleep for weeks and noticed that over my next few appointments, I was able to sleep a lot better. I also think that acupuncture helped balance out my body and is a part of why I healed so quickly. Usually, the kind of thyroiditis I experienced can take 6 months-over a year to heal, and mine became normal within a few months. I was even able to go to graduate school in the Fall, which my doctors were surprised about! They thought I might need a year break from everything to heal. Olivia also made herself available by phone and would always listen to my concerns and give advice. I have already recommended her to a few friends who are dealing with anxiety and/ or headaches. It is comforting to know that I have her to go to and that there are ways to feel better without using extensive medication.

Amara has been my number one experience in the healthcare/wellbeing world so far (and likely for…read moregood). She's gone above and beyond for me as a patient. For starters, she dove deep into my medical history/records, ensuring she captured all the details correctly and missed nothing. I was surprised she remembered every small detail I had told her, given that my issue is a 7-year-old neuropathy + CRPS combo. Due to the complexity of my condition, she tried different Chinese medicine approaches and strategies. I have no doubt other practitioners would have dismissed me as a patient (and they actually did) because of not seeing quick results. Instead, she proactively consulted mentors and trusted colleagues to get feedback and other perspectives on my condition. Thanks to Amara's not giving up and her continued treatment, I can now enjoy a lower pain level phase and just have an easier day-to-day life. It makes a huge difference to my family and me. On top of my chronic issue, I once woke up with very scary tunnel-syndrome-like symptoms in my good limb. I really freaked out because I could not afford to lose any more function or tolerate any more pain. Fortunately, I was seeing Amara that same day. To my astonishment, she got rid of the issue in that one session. Boom. Symptoms fully gone the morning after. I really could not believe it. I thought I would need to embark in another never-ending healthcare nightmare. Had I known Amara when my neuropathy + CRPS first started, my last 7 years would have been so different... All of the above would already make an outstanding healthcare experience. However, what definitely sets Amara apart is that SHE CARES. As a patient, I never felt like a number, a checklist, or a protocol sheneeded to get over with. It does make a difference to her if I am in more or less pain, if something in my week flared up my symptoms, whether my camping trip impacted my pain, and so on. And she'll do whatever she can to help me. I am so grateful to Amara. I just hope that more people in pain out there can get to her practice much sooner than I did.
