It was the best option for me and my husband who needed full-time care due to our work schedules. They have different programs to choose from based on your needs and are open during most other school breaks/days off. They also offer care during the summer with the same staff so it's an easy transition for the kids. Mrs. Alysha, the director, is very organized, communicates well, and is great with the kids and teachers as well. There are more affordable options, but we trust the care here and their hours and convenience they offer is worth it on our opinion.

Where do I even begin... and how can I put in to words how much we have loved our time at ICDC?…read more My daughter joined ICDC at just 10 months old and she's been lucky enough to call ICDC her home away from home for the last 4 YEARS! My daughter was one of the luckiest kids to have been in all of the classrooms - Infant Room, Toddler Room, Pre-1, Pre-2 and Pre-3. We've been able to meet/experience all of wonderful teachers and staff who truly make the place special. And it's no wonder so much of the staff has dedicated 5,10...20 years of their careers to ICDC and teaching & caring for our future generations. They truly care about the kids social-emotional and educational development! They have lesson plans, help the children gain independence and have lots of hands on learning experiences inside the classroom and also with off site Field Trips. They even have a yoga instructor come in every Monday to do yoga session with each of the older classrooms!! How cute is that? ICDC is truly special in all that they do, they have little events like: Mother's Day Picnic, Donuts with Dad, Holiday Family Pajama Breakfast, Spirit Week and much much more! They really do a great job giving families the opportunity to be involved with the school and my biggest advice is to 100% participate in all that you can. Attend all the events, volunteer for teacher appreciation week, go to the fundraisers, attend back to school night, and build community within ICDC in any way that you can. Again, I can't say enough kind words to truly convey our experience with them these last 4 years, but the time has come for my daughter to start elementary school. I am so thankful for the foundation in education, confidence, kindness, and care that ICDC has given her. She walked into the center every day with a smile on her face, and that gave me so much peace as a parent. Choosing a daycare is one of the hardest decisions you'll make, but from my experience, choosing ICDC was the BEST decision I could have made. I trusted them with the care of my only child, and in return they gave me so much more than I ever expected... They gave her a safe place to grow, lifelong friendships, confidence, unforgettable memories, and a genuine love of learning. They also gave me the priceless gift of knowing my daughter was loved, supported, and cared for every single day. The teachers are wonderful, communication is excellent, and we really appreciate the student-to-teacher ratio. The program, resources, activities, and field trips are better than anything else we have seen. Most importantly, our son is happy and thriving there. They never take home any projects or activities nothing.. what ate they doing. Kids are on electronics no parent/teacher or teacher/ child interaction. They should be shut down. the director here is a joke I have heard her talk about myself and other parents over a walkie talkie to her team so no wonder everyone is rude, unengaged, disinterested and lazy it starts from the top. I caught her in a lie and she did call to apologize about the issue but she is the biggest problem here. She only talks about money money money. She sets the tone and clearly it is not one about customer service or care or even a passion for working with children. I even reported it to the district level not sure they cared either. absolutely pathetic. someone from the district should check this place out. The kids are getting nothing. the leave a QR code outside for parents so no one goes inside to see the utter lack of involvement. I miss the days of binders full of projects and notes telling you what you kids did or learnt. The old center did family days, or invited you in, talk to you, The kid had clubs, my kids started sports teams, businesses , competitions all sorts of creativity was encouraged. Now the only information sent out if for payment lol what a joke. The director never leaves her desk never comes out to say hello. Her lazy minions look like they hate kids. The way they talk to the kids is sad and they look right past parents. Save you money go to the boys and girls club, a neighborhood sitter, or christian or catholic on site day care. YOUR KIDS DESERVE BETTER. What a sad and pathetic end to my 8 year here. I am active in my children's schools, coach community sports and volunteer I will continue to share my shock at what a sad and pathetic excuse of a center this is to all who will listen. Kids need kindness, attention, involvement, creativity, smiles, interest, this place has none of it and it is not free so what are you guys doing there - get out for you kids sake. Shame on Catalyst kids for allowing this. Even the teachers complained during covid that they never did the required school work or home work. Teachers constantly complained about them. The good staff have left this place and it is left with lazy people who clearly hate kids and have no interest in them. I would attach pictures but we are not allowed in the center at all and are kept outside - so nothing to take a picture of but parents / kids/ staff all separate and no connection. They are the equivalent of taking your kids to a family member in an emergency who does not like kids but has to keep them safe with the least amount of engagement and they do the very bare minimum. I was hesitant in the beginning because of the pricing difference but I'm so glad they went. The kids had a blast and didn't mind having to go to camp at all. My older daughter, 8 at the time, attended the Adventure Camp and they were off campus all summer doing activities, she absolutely loved that she got to do activities without her younger brother! My younger son, who was 6, attended the Activity Camp and he had a blast as well, no tears to go from him. Ms. Claudia and Ms. Laura were such a pleasure to work with and the program itself was amazing. I really like the way they decorate the portables to have a homey feel for the kiddos. I also like how they group the kids by age so that they are around their peers and not all clumped in one room. We are signing up again this year and the kids can't wait to go.

I'll start by saying that our experience ( and this review) will primarily be focused on the toddler and upper rooms ( zazzy zebra, dazzling dolphins, and the preppy pandas). The classroom layout for all the rooms is made very thoughtfully with each part of the classroom designated for a specific type of play/ learning. My son is now in the pre-k room and still one of his favorite spots to hang out is the reading area! The rooms are adequately staffed so it doesn't seem like there are too many kids to teachers, and supervision doesn't seem to be a problem either Oh, and another nice touch is that they have a washer and dryer unit on site that they regularly use! While my son was potty training, we didn't have to bring home bagged up dirty undies which honestly was very nice. The main thing that I like about this school is the daily report and daily photos they send to the app. It's makes it so easy to see how your kid is doing and also a great way to talk about their day during pick up ! The price for the school is for sure on the higher end, but I do feel that they are 100% worth every penny!

We feel especially lucky that our daughter had Miss Fariba and Miss Taraneh as her teachers. Since they speak her native language, they gave her a wonderful sense of comfort and familiarity that made her transition so much easier. We were honestly amazed by how quickly she adjusted. Within just one week, she felt completely comfortable and happy. As parents, there's nothing more reassuring than seeing your child genuinely excited to go to school every day. We are also extremely impressed with the educational program. The curriculum is engaging, age-appropriate, and thoughtfully designed. Every day our daughter comes home having learned something new through fun, creative, and hands-on activities. It's clear that the school focuses not only on helping children feel loved and safe but also on encouraging their curiosity, confidence, and development. I work in south county and drive to irvine to pick up my little one and almost every time I'm right on the dot within the time frame to pick her up at 6 pm without getting penalized a fine. There are activities, crafts, homework help, etc as well as family events. My son feels very at home there and he is always happy when I come to pick him up! :) I can tell the other children feel taken care of, too, in how they interact with each other and Ms. Alicia. The staff…read morewas always friendly whenever I came in for their summer camps, and always made me feel welcome. It is a great place for parents to allow their kids to stay after school on a daily basis, or to take sign them up for exciting summer camps! One of the many benefits of bringing your child to Myford's CDC is the exposure they will get to other kids. The CDC will watch over children from Kindergarten to 5th grade, and this program will expose them to students they do not normally see during the school day! Be aware of the age limits for Myford's CDC, as the staff has very strict regulations, but overall excellent program!
