If your childcare search has been like mine, you've probably already shopped around and tried this and that, but I'm glad to tell you that you probably don't need to search any further! I'll start by saying that our experience ( and this review) will primarily be focused on the toddler and upper rooms ( zazzy zebra, dazzling dolphins, and the preppy pandas). The classroom layout for all the rooms is made very thoughtfully with each part of the classroom designated for a specific type of play/ learning. My son is now in the pre-k room and still one of his favorite spots to hang out is the reading area! The rooms are adequately staffed so it doesn't seem like there are too many kids to teachers, and supervision doesn't seem to be a problem either Oh, and another nice touch is that they have a washer and dryer unit on site that they regularly use! While my son was potty training, we didn't have to bring home bagged up dirty undies which honestly was very nice. The main thing that I like about this school is the daily report and daily photos they send to the app. It's makes it so easy to see how your kid is doing and also a great way to talk about their day during pick up ! The price for the school is for sure on the higher end, but I do feel that they are 100% worth every penny! read more

We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of The Goddard School of Tustin. This school has exceeded our expectations in every way, and the teachers in particular are getting five stars--if not more. The owner, Ms Preeti, and Director, Ms Chelsea, are truly exceptional. They are often walking the halls, checking in on classrooms, and are always approachable, warm, and genuinely invested in the community. Each month there are engaging activities for both children and parents, creating a strong sense of connection and involvement. We are especially grateful for our teachers Ms. Tahareh and Ms. Fariba. Every day we are greeted with warmth and excitement. They go above and beyond and are incredibly dedicated educators. The curriculum is thoughtful, STEAM-focused, and always engaging. They always give detailed updates and share many photos that show how much they care about the kids. After just a few months, we were amazed to receive a large box filled with all of the crafts and activities completed--it was incredible to see the growth in just a few months! We also love the small cultural touches woven into the classroom experiences, along with hands-on learning like their class garden, where children help grow and harvest vegetables. Additional highlights include visits from real-life professionals (such as dentists, doctors, and even a beekeeper!), opportunities for parent involvement, and the convenience of provided snacks and optional hot lunch. Since day one, from the very first tour, we knew this was an amazing place. The welcome is always warm, the facility is beautiful and brand new, and the team is the kindest group you could hope for. What is truly special is that despite how professional and well-organized everything is, the care never feels generic - it's personal, attentive, and individual. Our little one smiles when she greets her teachers in the morning and smiles goodbye at the end of the day. She is truly seen and welcomed there. Significant health hazard present on campus in the backyard where our precious children play. In the roofed area of the backyard there are multiple pigeon nests where pigeon droppings fall directly onto the kids, play area and kids' toys. The floor was covered with droppings in those areas. There are serious diseases including cryptococcosis, histoplasmosis, and psittacosis caused by pigeon droppings specially due to inhaling the dust from the dried up droppings. When I brought it up to the owner/director she literally laughed it off. The fact that she doesn't have adequate knowledge about maintaining the health and safety of the kids is extremely concerning. I would not recommend this facility for any type of child care. read more

The communication is consistent, transparent, and caring -- something every parent deeply values. Their STEM-based approach is impressive, and you can really tell they invest in both education and safety. They're not only compliant with all state requirements but go above and beyond -- their teacher-to-infant ratio is even better than what regulations require (three infants per teacher instead of four). This makes a huge difference in the quality of attention and care. Every staff member is professional, kind, and truly dedicated. My husband and I feel welcomed every single day, and most importantly, our baby is thriving and happy. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Goddard Tustin. My little one has been there for a little over a year now. He started when he was just 9 months old in the infant class, and is now in the 2 year old class with Ms. Tahereh and Ms. Cintia. Having to work full time, I was anxious to find a place where I could feel confident that my baby was getting the best care. I toured many day cares, but when I arrived at Goddard, something was different. As I peeked in the windows, I saw several teachers in each classroom who were giving their full attention to the kiddos, playing music, singing and dancing, and creating sweet little pieces of art work. In addition to the wonderful teachers, the directors, Ms. Chelsea and Ms. Preeti, always welcome families with a smile and know all of the children. My little guy loves to run in their office and give them a hug or a high five. We are connected to the school through an app, where they send us learning targets for the day (which I REALLY appreciate, as a teacher myself!). They also share the cutest pictures of the day's activities, notes about the child's eating habits, nap, diaper changes, etc. We also receive a weekly newsletter with book recommendations and activities to do at home. Now that my little one is 2, I am constantly astonished at the engaging activities Ms. Cintia and Ms. Tahereh are able to do with the kiddos. They implement structure and routine in their day so the kiddos know what to expect. I just love picking up my little one and watching as he grabs his lunch box, pushes in his chair, and says goodbye to all his friends. No one is screaming or running out the door. They are all calmly looking at a book or working on an art project (AT TWO!!!) Most of all, it is so apparent how much Ms. Cintia and Ms. Tahereh care for all of the children. We have been with the Goddard School of Tustin for a little over 3 months and we love it here. We were at a different day care for 7 months before leaving after a safety concern. I love their curriculum which follows the STEAM based program. He is learning and thriving and we get detailed daily reports at the end of each day documenting his activities and lessons. His teacher will periodically upload pictures throughout the day (we look forward to them every day!) Pros: clean and safe facility, huge fenced outdoor area for play time, plenty of parking for pick up/drop offs, low teacher to student ratio (1:6 vs the standard 1:12 in the terrible twos class!), the teachers, the Director, Ms Chelsea and the owner, Ms Preeti, are genuinely nice and actually knows who we are and who our son is. Ms Preeti always stops what she is doing to come out of her office to say bye to my son. It's the little things that makes a huge impact. Cons: no lunch at the moment (only snacks), follows academic calendar so there are 25+ days off including the break between Christmas and New Years and the occasional professional development days which are challenging for 2 working parents and last pick up is at 530p (730a earliest drop off) We highly recommend Goddard and have even told my own sister to tour other day cares before Goddard. Because once you do, it will be the last tour before you make a decision. If you've made it this far, let them know we referred you :) read more

After touring multiple day care options I was so happy to find the Goddard school! They were kind and loving to my little guy, the cleanliness was above and beyond what I had seen elsewhere, and the structured learning was great! I looked forward to the updates and loved coming to pick him up and secretly observing him playing happily. Goddard is our son's first daycare and naturally we were nervous about leaving him in the care of others at first. However, it did not take long for us to know that we made the right choice with Goddard when a few weeks in, he exclaimed on the car ride home "I love school!" The facility is new, the cleanliness is top notch, the curriculum is stimulating, and the staff are all very warm and professional. Mrs. Preeti is both personable and professional and extremely dedicated to running an excellent daycare. Mrs. Chelsea is lovely and does a great job communicating with parents. Most of all, our son's two teachers - Mrs. Cintia and Mrs. Tahereh are absolutely WONDERFUL. We can tell that they truly love children and have a way with teaching the kids in a patient yet firm manner. Our son has learned so much from his teachers and often surprises us with the new things he has learned, such as counting from 1 to 10 in Spanish.
