He can have a hard time with transitions, particularly drop offs and doing work was hard for him for a while. Ms. Darlene was very patient and caring and helped him through it all, and over time he started to thrive and I know it was because of her support. Ms. Maria in Orange is also very kind and our son loves to spend time with her in PM care. In moving to Gold class, we were definitely nervous, but Ms. Darlene was there to help him through each step and make sure he was doing okay there, and I know that helped him a lot. He misses his Orange teachers, but he is also now really enjoying Gold class with Ms. Indira and Ms. Brittney. Already we can see he is getting great care and support for learning and becoming more independent and confident. Our younger son was first in Purple and now Blue class, and he has loved all of his teachers. He is happy to go to school every day and happy when he leaves. I know he is in the best care every day there, and learning so much too. We would definitely recommend Milestones!

Ms. Han and Ms. Bianca have made such a difference in our son's life. They genuinely care about his growth, both academically and emotionally, and we feel completely at ease dropping him off each day. The best feeling as a parent is watching your child run into the classroom excited, not even looking back. He talks about his teachers at home all the time, which says everything. Assistant Director Ms. Laure is also such a bright light at the school. She's always there at drop-off and pick-up with the warmest smile, greeting families and somehow knowing every child by name. She's incredibly kind, helpful, and truly sets the tone for such a welcoming environment. We feel so grateful to be part of this school community. The love, care, and dedication from the staff are obvious every single day, and it means the world to our family.

Ms. Laure welcomed us and showed us around--she was so warm and friendly, which made us feel at ease right away. Luckily, there was a spot available for our baby, and we enrolled her. What I really appreciated was how thoughtfully they helped our baby transition into daycare. She started by going just a couple of hours at first, and now, she happily waves goodbye at drop-off and goes into her classroom excited to see her teachers and play with her friends. Fast forward 10 months later, and our daughter has learned so much and truly enjoys being here. The teachers are all wonderful and caring, even with some staff changes along the way. Both Ms. Laure and Ms. Kari stand out for being especially kind, professional, and supportive. Overall, this daycare has made the transition much smoother and more positive than I expected. I'm so grateful our daughter is here--it feels like the right place for her to grow and thrive.

The environment is peaceful, spotless, and designed with so much intention--from the low shelves to the natural, developmentally appropriate materials. Our son has absolutely thrived here. We've watched him grow in ways that continue to amaze us--gaining confidence, developing fine motor skills, and becoming more independent each week. It's clear that the Montessori approach is being implemented with a deep understanding of infant development, and it's been so beautiful to watch our son respond to that. The caregivers are warm, attentive, and truly gifted in working with little ones. Ms. Julia has created a calm, structured rhythm that makes our son feel secure and supported. Knowing that he is in such a safe, clean, and loving space brings us so much peace of mind. I truly love the individual attention that each family gets. We are treated with a lot of respect and personal touch. Little Explorers Montessori has been incredible, working around our schedule and being super flexible. We also appreciate many enrollment options, even for infants (which most schools do not offer). And finally, they use an app where they post updates through out the day! It is very convenient for the infant so that we are aware of the feeding, diaper changes and naps. Makes it much easier and beneficial to keep the routine going! We have been here for a little over a year and have more years to come! Big thanks to the team of Little Explorers!

This daycare has brought happiness not only to my son but to our whole family. We are truly…read moregrateful. It has all the advantages of a home-based daycare, without any of the typical drawbacks. Here are just a few reasons why: The teachers are everything when it comes to choosing a place to care for young children -- and in that regard, this daycare scores beyond perfect. Ms. Julia and Mr. Vlad, along with their amazing staff, always greet the children with warm smiles. They are caring, patient, and handle discipline with just the right amount of firmness and kindness. As a result, the kids both love and respect them -- and they listen well! The daycare uses the entire first floor of their home plus the backyard, creating a cozy, homey atmosphere. But at the same time, the space is fully designed for children -- much like a larger preschool. There are swings, a slide, a seesaw, and even rabbits and parrots for the children to enjoy! Despite being a home daycare, there are engaging daily activities, many of them Montessori-based. There's even gentle academic learning, tailored to the kids' pace. In just 3-4 months, our child joyfully mastered phonics here! Every week there's also a "Show and Tell" time that our child would look forward to -- likely because the teachers are so encouraging. They also make sure play is part of every day. In the summer, there's daily water table play. They even change each child into dry clothes afterward -- something many parents, including myself, would find hard to do at home every single day. Because of all this, our child -- who struggled to adjust emotionally at a large preschool before -- became visibly happier at this daycare. He looked forward to going each day, shared lots of joyful stories about his teachers and friends at home, and even sometimes asked to stay longer at pickup time!

With just a year and a half left before he graduates, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the amazing teachers and administrators who have guided him along the way. My son has truly grown up a happy child who loves school, and I attribute so much of that to LePort. I'm constantly told what a wonderful young man he is, and I believe the character-building foundation at LePort Montessori has been exceptional in shaping who he is today. At LePort Spectrum North, he has had the most caring and thoughtful teachers--Ms. Jacobs, Ms. Masha, Ms. Cassandra Kolacinski, Ms. Lauren, and Ms. Robin. We are thoroughly enjoying the middle school program: it blends Montessori principles with strong academics and emphasizes helping others, self-discipline, time management, and critical thinking. During alumni night, every graduate shared that they felt extremely well prepared for high school after completing LePort's middle school program. Thank you, Ms. K, Ms. Lauren, and Ms. Robin, for everything you do! I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the phenomenal administrative team--Head of School Ms. Krista, Business Manager Ms. Karyn, and Admin Support Ms. Jen. You make the school run seamlessly, and I love the new subjects, events, and programs you bring to the community. Thank you--it has truly been a joy to be part of LePort.

My older daughter did great in the toddler program but we started to see issues when she moved to Primary. I met with Ms. Ana many times where we tried bringing in books from home or I sent her pictures and Ms. Ana made a special work item for my daughter to keep her interest. Eventually we found out that my daughter is Autistic. At that point I asked Ms. Ana to work with me to have a Behavioral Therapist in the school with my daughter. Very long story short, this Montessori environment is not the right environment for my neurodivergent child. But over the last 2 years I have spent upwards of 50 hours on the phone and in Ms. Ana's office trying to find ways to help my daughter succeed. Ms. Ana never gave up trying to help us. I love the Montessori curriculum and LePort was able to nurture my daughter's intelligence where she has just turned 5 and is reading chapter books and learning division. My younger daughter is currently having a blast in Ms. Ivette's classroom. A word of advice for parents experiencing behavioral issues - get your child assessed. My relationship with my daughter improved infinitely once I had professionals helping me understand how her mind works and how to speak to her in a way that she understands.

The growth we've seen in her socially, emotionally, and academically has been remarkable. The teachers, especially Ms. Shelby, Ms. Chloe, and Ms. Sal, have been nothing short of amazing. They create a warm, nurturing environment where the kids feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. My daughter absolutely adores them. One of the things we appreciate most is how the school follows a thoughtful Montessori curriculum that helps children learn independence, discipline, and responsibility through hands-on activities. They sing, explore new materials, and learn to manage things on their own all of which has supported our parenting at home, too. My daughter loves going to school every day and enjoys spending time with her friends and teachers. We truly miss this wonderful community created by Ms Richa and Ms Prerna and wholeheartedly recommend this Montessori school to any family with an infant or young child in Lake Forest. At M.I.A., she has learned great life skills such as putting away her things, confidence, independence, cooking, writing, healthy snacking, folding clothes, and politeness, to name a few. When we were at her annual doctor's appointment, my daughter impressed all of the other parents in the doctor's waiting room when she got up from the kids table and pushed her chair all by herself (a polite habit she was taught in her M.I.A. preschool class!). One of the highlights of this school is the lunch program: a very nutritious, rotating menu of Japanese-style dishes that you can opt-into. My daughter loves broccoli, fish, and many new foods now because of the healthy lunches at M.I.A. There are so many fun events throughout the year, such as the Sports Festival (Undokai), plays/musicals, cooking classes, observation weeks, cultural events, and the school is great about sharing pictures of the students' activities so we can get a sense of their days. Also, there are many options for afterschool extracurricular activities, which my daughter loves! PE Class, Japanese Dance, Piano Lessons, Art, Nenchu class, Karate/Kendo, and more. Sometimes when we arrive to pick her up after school, she tells us that "we came too early" -- because she's having so much fun and wants to stay at school even longer! We're looking forward to our daughter's continuing journey at M.I.A.!
