These people took 1.5 year for a job that takes 6 months, no heat for winter, and are complete assholes. Way to overpriced.

Their pricing was excellent,…read moretheir turnaround time was lightning fast, and the communication and workmanship far exceeded our expectations. From the moment Paul came to our home to inspect our old, leaking skylight, we knew we were dealing with a company that values professionalism and integrity. Paul didn't just go up on the roof and look at the skylight--he inspected our entire roof. He found a section with missing shingles and included that repair at no additional charge. The crew replaced our skylight along with the extensive rotted roof sheathing around it. While they were on the roof, they sealed a vent pipe and a second skylight--all at no additional charge because, as they told us, they just wanted to make sure our roof was protected. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. They provided photos and videos before, during, and after the work, so we could see every step of the project. Mike, the outstanding on-site supervisor, checked in with us repeatedly, answered every question, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening. He was so professional. Mike and his crew also left everything absolutely spotless--the roof, deck, driveway, yard, and even the bedroom beneath the skylight looked as though they had never been there, except for our beautiful new Velux skylight. We've hired many contractors over the years, and this was genuinely one of the best experiences we've ever had. We wondered whether all those glowing five-star reviews for Mighty Dog Roofing could really be true. After working with them, we can honestly say they're absolutely earned. We highly recommend them without hesitation.

By chance, the electric company stopped by the next day to check my meter, and started banging on my door to ask what in the world was up with my electric meter/box. They said the metal was so bent that even if I had the cover, it wouldn't fit back on. It turns out that anyone walking by who touched it could've gotten an electric shock! The electric company wanted to shut off the power to my entire house immediately - it was that serious - but since it was in the winter they didn't. The electric company was kind enough to wrap a tarp around the box, since any rain or snow getting in could cause extensive damage, including frying my whole electrical panel. It turned out that MightyDog had done extensive electrical work without an electrical permit, and by people who were not licensed to do that work. They had to pay thousands of dollars to an emergency Electrician; I appreciate that they paid it, but that's how bad it was. They also did extensive damage to my mini splits, which they refuse to take responsibility for. I think they did a good job on my roof, but I can't in good conscience recommend this business.

I had a sunroom redone -- new floor, new support posts, ceiling, lighting, etc. During the entire process, Bob was extremely unpleasant, to put it mildly. That would be fine, if the work was done well. It most certainly was not. The floor was a complete disaster. A wide plank floor with gaps up to 1/8" in between planks. A sanding and stain job that looked like it was done by someone who's never installed a floor before. Sanding circles all over the floor and bubbles in the poly virtually everywhere. The ceiling planks weren't installed properly and separated and cracked just days after install. The drywall repair was done horribly, the mud wasn't sanded properly and they painted over everything before it dried. To top it all off, they initially put in the wrong supports under the sunroom, only to replace them with the "proper" ones that they decided to cut too short, causing the entire room to separate from the house by about 1/4". For you own sake, if you're reading this review please stay away from these clowns.

The project was exceptionally well planned, and they completed it ahead of schedule with exceptional quality and craftsmanship. We especially appreciated how thoughtfully they worked around our family while we continued living in half of the house -- that flexibility made the project affordable and manageable for us. Throughout the process, Hancock seamlessly coordinated with our architect and structural engineer, showing great flexibility and a true commitment to quality. The results have been amazing -- we're already making full use of the new space, and neighbors have been stopping by with compliments, with several saying they're planning to hire Hancock themselves after seeing the impressive work and speed of completion. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend Darrell and the Hancock Building Associates team to anyone considering a project in the area. We'd definitely work with them again!

Fernando was consistently professional, communicative, honest, and respectful of both us and our home. He remained fully focused on our project--his crew worked in cold conditions for 8-12 hours a day and even put in weekends to keep things moving. He was also punctual (yes, a contractor who is actually punctual), which we truly appreciated. Living by the water adds complexity, and Fernando handled all permitting and coordination with the conservation board seamlessly. Most importantly, the quality of the finished work is outstanding. If you're looking for a contractor you can trust to do things right, Fernando and N7 are exceptional.

N7 was one of the options Yelp recommended companies that responded when I submitted a project through their "Projects" section. This meant that going with the company even had a guarantee backed satisfaction. To further ease concerns about making the right choice, when speaking with Fernando who owns N7, he was very helpful to provide references to reach out to, examples of past projects, and links to his website and work. He was able to come out rather quickly to survey the land and get a better understanding of the project. Communication was strong not only throughout the initial phase of being provided a quote and deciding to move forward with N7, but also throughout the project itself. Fernando was great at reviewing all questions related to the contract and is willing to be flexible per individual household needs on timing and even payments. We were adding a second floor deck with roof off of a room converting a window to a door and also some stone landscaping work for a patio underneath the deck. Upon agreeing to move forward with N7, we entered a phase of waiting for appropriate permits. During this time, Fernando was great at ensuring he is gathering the right materials for the project to kick off construction as soon as the permits are approved. And that is exactly what happened. Fernando and his team showed up early and worked efficiently throughout the length of the project. They even took shifts for lunch so someone was working at all times. The team also worked on Saturday's to ensure the project remained on schedule. Everyone was so friendly and my dog loved them all too. Fernando will work with you throughout the project should something need to be changed or is not to your liking. When we didn't like the door selected for our project, he was flexible to help us select and obtain the desired door. The only small issue we had was from some of the outsourced parts of the project. The individual chosen for inside work of wall repair and painting from the window to door conversion did have personal issues arise causing him to miss days he was supposed to arrive. We obviously understand things come up, but he didn't effectively communicate that to us or Fernando. That is out of Fernando's control though. And when the original team set to do the patio stone work backed out, Fernando quickly found an alternative group who was also friendly, efficient, and did beautiful work. Overall, I am very impressed with Fernando and N7 Construction. We will definitely be using them for future projects and recommend the company for your needs as well.

The concern began when the initial contractor sent his young and apparent inexperienced helper to come alone and unsupervised to grout the whole kitchen floor himself. No inspection of the job was done after and as stated within several weeks the grout was chipping and falling out. After numerous phone calls and in person visits the same contractor was sent out to do a "patchwork" regrouting job which, again, failed miserably. We were told it must have been a bad batch of grout, however considering the fact it happened all over again during the "patchwork" phase, it doesn't seem plausible to be the problem. Then rather than taking responsibility, we were told our floor must be flexing! Not in agreement with that at all, but even IF that is the case that should have been acknowledged by the business BEFORE we were told a tiled floor could be installed if such a potential problem existed! After the last visit to the store, the contractor was supposed to be informed, yet again, but we have not heard. During all of this, the business showed no involvement and little interest. And, after a year we have no resolution nor apparent interest by the business to want to give a resolution. After a big expense, we are looking at a kitchen floor with large amounts of very noticeable grout chipping out constantly from between the tiles. This company has exhibited a lack of professionalism and lack of quality installers. l DO NOT recommend using this business.
