Sit in the restaurant for full service or in the brewery and order at the counter. We chose the brewery side which is ultra-casual and enjoyed an outdoor table. There is a Happy Hour food menu to go with the beer, also discounted. Among three of us we had the fried calamari which was tasty, fried pickles - delicious, and garlic flatbread- not so good, overly basic, and also not what we meant to order. We asked for the prosciutto flatbread but the order was placed for the Happy Hour garlic version. I'd skip this, it's not worth the discount. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my two pints. The stout is delicious. Drink responsibly, bring a designated driver (thank you, dear). Did I tell you the beer was only $3 a pour? Three dollars!

Each standing table also had an empty tray to discard shells. Ample supplies were on hand - shuckers, gloves, paper towels, hot sauces, cocktail sauce, and saltines. Beverages were available for purchase - a selection of ciders and wine, soft drinks and bottled water. Many of their regular menu options are not served in the winter, but we find that to be a good reason to go back during peak season. All service was self service - walk up to the bar or walk over to find any oyster shucking supplies you may need. Souvenir glasses were also available. The staff who checked us in on arrival were kind enough to suggest we take those after our feast to avoid having to keep track of a pint glass while focused on our oyster shucking. A couple of fire pit spots were available and there were picnic tables under a covered shelter set up in the event that inclement weather moved in. It is truly a Windy hill - it's always windy when we are here and this event was no different. Live music was on hand - a solo artist with guitar whose name I didn't catch, but he was very talented and did a great job. He played mostly cover music from under the covered shelter area. Parking does involve a walk if you're not one of the very first to arrive. That walk is down a gravel path a little ways up the hill and not a great fit for wheel chairs or those who with mobility challenges. It would not be hard to drop someone off though near the front, then go park down the street and around the corner.

This evening we noticed a food truck, so we stopped to pick up dinner, to go. We had not planned on staying, but tonight's food truck was so popular that we stayed longer than we expected to. Well, well, surprise, surprise, Belvedere Station serves wine and beer! Quite welcomed on a beautiful holiday weekend evening while waiting for takeout. So while waiting we walked inside where the gas station waiting room was comfortably air conditioned and stocked with the beer and wine and cute home decor/gifts. The gas station service bays had even more adorable unusual decor/gifts and also more casual seating for gathering with friends. But wait! Even more areas out back to congregate with your group of friends. Get aways, I say. I believe I noticed a group that might be regulars. So, if you have a group of friends and you like to get together, intimately, where it is not too loud, I recommend Belvedere Station. They did have cool recorded music in the background, but I thought live background music would be appreciated. I spoke with the very friendly, helpful hostess and she informed me that occasionally a person performs live guitar background music. This place is way too cool to just drive by!

The hazy IPa, Krush was very good and on par with some of the top tier craft breweries I've been to. The owner and brewer was there and super kind and humble. You need to stop in and have a pint if you like good beer... they also have wine if you prefer. Support the local craft brewery, York needs something like this to anchor some solid, positive growth.
