The cats were cute and so was the setup of the cafe!! I just wish the treats were complimentary with the entry and not a separate purchase.

Absolutely adored my experience here. On our walk to the mall, we would pass this glass wall of cute cats every time; eventually, we caved and went in. We spent $23 per person for 30 minutes, which included a drink, as well as some cat treats. Before coming in, you have to go through a waiver process, as well as lock your items in a locker. There are a wide selection of cat toys to play with! We were the only ones in the studio at the time, so we had the space to ourselves. I would highly recommend getting some treats, as the cats love them! We also got to sit in on the feeding time at 12pm, where we got to learn a little more about each cat. Make sure you pick a favorite, mine is Maoli (pictured) :D

A great way to kill an hour or two of time when needed. I found this place so my partner could kill 2 hours while I went to a long lunch. Lol Partner loved the experience & had a grand ol' time. Loved the space, staff, and cats. Everyone was happy to be there! It is at the mall so a ton of places to eat & shop before or after too. It is on the ground level, "inside" the parking structure/lot so it can be easy to miss or overlook its existence. Would def come back if in Hawaii again.

Cat Café MOFF is located near the food court in Ala Moana Shopping Center and has around 12 cats of all different breeds that you can spend time with. Unfortunately, the cats are not available for adoption like some other cat cafes in Honolulu, but one of the staff there mentioned that they were planning on adopting a cat into the cafe, which I thought was cool! You pay per hour and get a complementary drink upon entry. They don't take reservations and only do walk-ins, which was fine because it wasn't too busy when we went around noon. We went during their lunchtime, so we got to see all the cats getting fed and the staff gave us a nice explanation of each cat, including history and fun facts about each breed! Vibe: It was relaxing to hang out with the cats and the staff were SUPER friendly; however, most of the cats didn't want to be played with, which I totally get. It was still nice to just watch them nap and run around! Parking: Ala Moana Shopping Center has free parking throughout the mall and you can usually find parking right in front of Cat Café MOFF.

First of all this is a real cat cafe it's not an adoption sites like a few others that we have on the island. I think cats here are either pure breed or hybrid. You can play with them while you read or enjoy your coffee. I have 2 adopted cats and I know this kind of cat cafes can be controversial but let's leave that part out of this review. I can see the cats are well groomed and the environment is very clean and comfortable. There are places for them to hide and shelves for them to jump on if they don't want to be bothered. Staff are friendly and appear very knowledgeable about the cats as well. We all had to sign a waiver before entering and were explained with the rules (no hitting, no holding cats, etc). They feed their cats at noon and 5pm so you may wanna come around that time to see that. The staff also introduce their cats at that time so you can learn more about them. The price is actually not too bad. $23 for 30 mins and $26 for 60 mins. They have kama'aina and military discounts. Kids under 3 are free. And you can purchase treats to feed the cats. Oh and a complimentary drink included. It is located next to the food court. If you know where see's candies or jejubing is then you will find the cafe.

I dropped in this morning to pick up some of the Cat merchandise to bring back with me for a couple of little girls in Seattle. The cotton canvas bags were small and perfectly priced at $13. Well-made with charming cats printed on them. While I was shopping the front desk staff person pointed out that Mai, their Scottish Fold kitty, was watching me very intently from right behind the merchandise. Because of time I couldn't go in and enjoy meeting the many felines that play but I thoroughly enjoyed watching them through the window as they were getting ready for their day. They were active and playful and curious in all the best ways. Next time I plan to spend an hour there.

My friends and I decided to check this place out and it was a lot of fun! We each got the 30 min ticket and paid a little bit more to buy cat food to feed the cats. The cats were all pretty cute and playful! The admission also includes a drink which are canned and bottled drinks. It was nice taking pictures of the cats and feeding them. It is kinda pricey to come here but they do offer Kama'aina discount! This was more like a one time experience for me especially with how expensive it is but I'm glad I got to check it out.

Visited this cute little cat cafe with a friend to get a fur therapy. It was $28 for an hour with a complementary drink (+$2 for a cat latte art). I got an iced latte and you can choose which cat's picture you'd like. There were plenty of cats to pet and play with. They were all really cute. It wasn't too crowded around the time we went, but most of the cats were sleeping and were hiding underneath the couches as they didn't want to be bothered. I just sat down near them to watch them sleep or gently stroked them so they weren't alerted. It's definitely worth checking out if you are a cat lover and the drink was also very tasty!

I was told to visit this location by the staff from another moff location because they're bigger and have more merchandise. They also have a larger drink menu which is another plus. There's a lot more space as well, and I also had a good time here with my 3 year old who adhered to the cafe rules. They're located on the outside and near the food court.

I don't have pets but I love animals. I think because of this place I especially love cats even more now :'(. They were all very well-trained and adorable. The staff was very helpful about informing us of where to go and what to do if we wanted to purchase more food for the cats to feed them, as well as telling us the names of certain cats that were interacting with us! I definitely would come back just to see the cats again. I had such a great experience and they were so healing for me :'). These cats work hard as permanent employees of this cafe. They definitely do their job well so please be nice to them.

One star. Sadly. It's my birthday today and we showed up for a 25 minute visit 30 minutes before closing. We were shocked to be flat-out refused entry by Café Moff staff-- we actually thought it was an April Fools joke at first, considering it's April Fools' Day, but a hard no was their final answer. We tried to clarify but were met with blank stares and closed doors. We were about to drop $115 for a 25-minute session on tickets alone, but clearly they're not interested in new or repeat customers. Considering we live across the street, they're really missing out. Not a good look for a business that calls itself part of a welcoming community. If this is how they treat guests--and locals, no less--we won't be returning, and we'll make sure others know to pass as well.

    Feeding time

This is an Oahu must do activity! The kids and I loved seeing unique cat breeds, interacting with them learning about better cat care, and super fun drinks! Every one of the three branches have some different breeds! Their drinks are super fun too and the cat art latte is an exclusive to this branch. My kids tried the jelly drinks and really enjoyed them! If you get the cat snacks they're sure to climb in your lap! Also highly recommend coming at Kaukau feeding time at noon or 5pm for info on each cat! Whether you're there for 30 minutes or you keep extending to four hours you are sure to have fun and leave a little bit calmer.

The cats are bony, not as round or soft as other cats when you touch them. Soft fur doesn't cover the skinny cats.

We found street parking across the street since parking in front of the café was limited. Jasmin welcomed us and pointed to the menu on the wall. We tried the Meza plate: Baba Ghanoush (smoky eggplant dip), Dolmas ( tangy grape leaves), Za'atar bread( spices, onions)- Jasmin said this was everyone's favorite, after the taste of this bread you guys, it became our favorite! It tastes super nice and it was flavorful! There was feta cheese, kalamata olives, and bread cut in a triangular shape. Jasmin told us to open the bread and grab the dips, and cheese with it. Every bite was a whole different experience! It was delicious! Jasmin said we had to eat the Za'atar bread, with the cheese on it and it was just yum! Jasmin let us try Saudi coffee, with sweet dates, and I also ordered the Honey Rose Latte. The Saudi coffee had cardamom in it so it's different from regular coffees. My Honey Rose Latte was good too. Jasmin asked if I wanted my latte sweeter and added more of the sweetener in my coffee. Even Ryan liked it too! The rose water gave it a nice touch. We also had the Turkey Panini~Jasmin's turkey panini was super crispy! There was cheese melting in the inside! You can hear the crunch in every bite! There were vegetables in it too like bell peppers, pesto, zucchini, and turkey meat. Ryan and I were really loving it! And for the final course, we had to try the desserts! We ordered two kinds of cakes, the sour cream poppy seed cake, and pumpkin spice loaf. These cakes were super moist, and not as sweet, which was perfect with our coffee. And there was a nice sugary crumble texture with it! So friends, if you are feeling adventurous and want to try something new, come on down to Jasmin's cafe at Mirage Arts & Coffee. She also does open mic nights, there would be live entertainment, belly dancers, so if you want to have a small get together, Jasmin welcomes everyone. Jasmin is a wonderful host. She will walk you through everything if you are not familiar with the foods, and she will entertain you too. This place will take you to another level, transport you to somewhere you have never been. The adoption process went smoothly, incl. the digital contract, carriers, health documentation, etc. I was a bit surprised when they had a rep for pet insurance give a spiel for their insurance plans at the end - kinda felt like a surprise sales pitch sprung on us, but I appreciated that they encourage having pet insurance as emergencies with animals are bound to pop up. I've adopted two dogs from HHS and provided am amazing life for them. until the very end and was…read morethere looking at dogs, after I lost my last furbaby. :( There is an older woman with short hair - maybe forties or early fifties - looks Hawaiian/Haole mixed, who sits in front across the reception desk at a computer on wheels. Not sure what her role is. (Although she seems to think she is the HHS police.) She seems to have major emotional dysregulation issues and will SNAP at people who are with a foster dog, or addopting a dog, that is sniffing at the three dog display cages in front, "DON'T LET THE DOG MAKE CONTACT WITH THE PUPPY!!!" (These three cages out front seem to be featured dogs they want people to notice?) Well perhaps they should put the cages higher up?? She also asks a lot of personal questions and follows people around the shelter, observing/spying as they view or interact with dogs (passive agressive much?!?!). If HHS was SO concerned about disease transmission, perhaps they should not have cats roaming loose inside the shelter, or FERAL CHICKENS flying and running around all over the shelter and DRINKING from the dog water bowls. After three encounters with this person in April and May, I don't want to go back. It's hard enough to be grieving and I don't need to deal with people who seem to be judging everyone who enters the shelter. I may check out the Ewa location instead. HHS leadership: the bizarre woman at the front needs to get some training on keeping her personal issues at the door when she shows up for work. GEEZ!!!

The best place to visit with the greatest owners. My review is long over-due but it is important to…read moreleave it! I came here during my vacation in Hawaii. We drove by and noticed this place and gave the number a ring via Google, and we were able to get an appointment on short notice. The owner came out with a little money, as he was even generous enough to pay for my parking. We tried the dole whip and the other treats that they offered and all of them were delicious. You can tell that the owners are really passionate about cats and kittens, and they really care about customer service. There is a lot of thought and energy that has been put into this place. The cats were all friendly but remember they are still cats so they have claws. If anything, some just wanted to play and were a little more assertive about it :) I was so delighted with the experience that I made a voluntary donation for $100. Covid has destroyed a lot of small businesses and I would hate to see this one go even though I am from California. Thank you Kitty Cafe! Hope I visit again soon.

My fiance and I like to call ourselves cat lounge connoisseurs. Just jokes- that's just me, in my…read moreown head calling myself that. But we do visit cat cafes/lounges more often than not. We go to the two in town once every few months, and enjoy the wide range of cats and kitten alike. Rebekah L. introduced us to this new kitty cafe early late last month, however with our schedules and the busy-ness of this lounge, we were only able to schedule a visit this past weekend. So we loaded up, and drove to meet Rebekah in not-so-small Kailua Town. We lucked out on street parking and met up with our friend to walk into the most kitschy kitty place of our dreams. Literally. The waiting area was decorated with cat posters and comfy chairs to wait for check in. The most impressive part was the huge cat tiki that commanded attention as soon as walking in. One of the cat owners, Heather, advised that the statue was commissioned and the work was so beautifully done it had me wondering if I wanted a cat tiki in my apartment.. After check in, we were directed to the snacks for purchase before entering the 'cat room'. We opted for both treats, and it would be brought into the cat room after it was made. The dole whip was delicious and such a generous portion too. We also tried the acai bowl for 'research purposes' and I was shocked to learn in was vegan. The acai bowl sweetness wasn't overpowering as it sometimes can be, and the granola had a nice crunch to it. So far this kitten lounge has my favorite snacks- definitely blew the previous bean water and tea out of the water. The nicest touch (in my opinion) was that the owner also directed us where the bathroom was before starting our cat adventure. It was a very nice touch as many places do not offer bathrooms, especially cat lounges. We sanitized our hands and walked into the cat area. There was a main cat area, currently decorated in the tiki/Old Hawaii style with tiny grass huts and aloha shirt cats framing the walls. One thing I was surprised and delighted to discover was that there was multiple cat rooms! To the left of the main room, there was two smaller rooms, decorated 'cat' themed as well, with Chinese Cat Paw wallpaper and cat trees and toys all over. There was 'human' seating room all over the place, and the different rooms allowed much more space and time with cats than it would have been with just one big room. There was enough hiding space for the kittens to chill out for a nap. However they were relentless in their playing and just general 'kitten-ness' that there wasn't much napping when we were there. We currently have a soon to be three year old cat, and have been on the hunt for a possible candidate for our shy guy. One thing I didn't notice beforehand (in my excitement for cats) was that the lounge was only meant for kittens, and not cats of all ages. It didn't take away from my experience at all, but I was pleasantly surprised. My fiancé ended up falling for a cute tiny kitten named Kona, however it wasn't meant to be and we didn't end up adopting her. After our hour was up, we said a heartful goodbye to the kittens and the Owners, and left feeling much more relaxed than when we came in. We will be adding Aloha Kitty Cafe into our roster of cat lounges to visit and cannot wait for our next kitty play date!
