When I was looking up their hours I was shocked to see the bad reviews. Our family of five is very active in sports and and strength training fitness. With the help of Gordon (one of the employees in the fitness section) and Marilyn (the woman who is a pillar at the registers at this location) I have pieces together an affordable yet AMAZING home gym. Gordon went above and beyond to help me get what I needed at a price far lower than I was prepared to pay. It helps that I gets lots of rewards and coupons too ;) We purchase all of our baseball equipment and probably 90% of our wardrobes from here as well. Returns are never a hassle and the employees are always great! It's really a shame that consumers only take the time to write bad reviews as I'm sure there are 1,000's of customers who have had the same experiences as my family and I. GREAT JOB DICKS HENRIETTA!!!!!

When I returned with the paperwork from county clerk on Tuesday, 8/11/26, John, the employee behind the counter, retrieved the handgun, but claimed he didn't know about the shotgun, so a second background check was required. While the background check was running, he left to help another customer, then disappeared. Two other employees took over the transaction, but there was confusion about what steps had been completed. What should have been a simple 30 minute transaction turned into a 2+ hour wait. Very disappointed in Sportsman's Warehouse, not worth a return trip.

We've shopped here for years for our sports related goods! Today we had a great experience. I was…read moreplanning on going to the pet store and to dicks, but I wanted to bring my dog to the pet store. Of course i didn't want to leave him in the car at dicks, so I called before I left and asked if they allowed pets- and they did! As long as they're leashed, you clean up after any accidents, well behaved and non aggressive (no aggression at *all*) they're welcome in the store! So my 8 y/o lab got to take his first trip to dicks today with me. We were greeted when we walked in, several people asked if we needed help finding anything, the store was organized, and the best part was there was nothing on the ground that my dog might potentially step on or eat which was fantastic. I was expecting it to be a bit dirty considering they have a mall entrance but it was very clean. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. My dog had lots of fun on his adventures today and I really appreciate the staff allowing us in. We got to work on some training and got some really good training in the store. I look forward to coming here with my dogs again in the future! Definitely going to be the reason I come here more often. Thank you to the employees! Side note- the mall is NOT pet friendly so please don't bring your pet in the mall. Go in through the outdoor entrance and DONT go into the mall with your pet. Please make sure they're well behaved and don't pee or poop on anything, not at all aggressive, leashed on a regular length leash, etc. if people don't follow this the privilege to bring them in will be taken away. Remember not everyone wants to see a dog in the store and they don't necessarily want to say hi to them. And dogs can also get very stressed in stores so if your dog gets stressed or you think they will, for their own sake please leave them at home! I'm hoping nobody will abuse this privilege to bring pets in and gets it removed because Finn would be very sad. Please don't make Finn sad! Thank you

There were two who were very helpful but the rest were not. A male worker began to start swearing and talking to his friends and coworkers. Someone they knew came in and she pulled off her mask and talked and drank while customers were near. Also, this same guy DEFINITELY SAW customers without their masks on in the store as they WERE LIGHTING A CIGARETTE. Last time I checked, that's never acceptable. It was very upsetting and an awful experience. I will NEVER go back to this store location and I almost stopped going to the whole Dicks franchise but I went to the Batavia location and it was SOO amazing. I had a fantastic experience working with Thane on a big tailoring order a few weeks ago…read more I had 7 or so suits that needed various levels of adjustments, mostly simple stuff like shortening sleeves, hemming pants, and taking in the width on a few blazers. However, I also had one blazer that I purchased at an online tailor company that came out very wonky in the shoulders. Thane was able to perform surgery on it and perfectly fix the issues. He got everything done on a tight timeframe too, and put in extra work to get it all exact. Beyond that, he was a pleasure to chat with and very professional. The whole project came to a little over $1000, which I think was reasonable given the quantity and quality of work done. I especially don't think anyone else could have fixed the shoulders on that one blazer, so it effectively saved me the value of losing out on an entire suit jacket.
