I had high hopes based on the reviews and seamstress seemed competent. I only needed a hem repaired. She chose to redo the hem completely. Fine. Hem unraveled COMPLETELY within 3 hours of wearing it! I was sitting at dinner, looked down and saw the hem exposed and a long piece of thread. I was shocked. I called the business now 2x and they didn't return my call. Don't go here. Poor quality. What a great place to bring your clothes to get fixed. I was told about this place through a friend. I needed to get my zipper on my new york yankees jacket replaced cause this is a special jacket of mine. I took it to this place, and this sweet women, her name is trish, took the jacket, said she would fix it no problem. She called me the next morning which shocked me, and so i went to pick it up,she did a great job, and no problem. She charged me very little for it, another shock, and i was happy. I had it about a week and the zipper broke again. I took it back, she was very concerned, and said she would fix it again for me for no charge. She called me the next day, and i have had the jacket now for two months and the zipper works great!! I would tell everyone i know to go to CASTRO ALTERATIONS. read more
