An Exceptional Loan Officer…read more We cannot say enough great things about Montee Skorich with Optimum First Mortgage! We have had the pleasure of working with Montee for over 7 years, using him for home purchases and refinances, and he has consistently gone above and beyond every single time. Montee is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about his clients. He has always made what can be a stressful and complicated process feel smooth and manageable. **2nd update. After posting the update, since I hadn't heard anything back. I received a hostile…read moretext telling me he's "done with me" and will not help in removing the inquiry. This is the customer service you will be receiving. There's no kindness, no consideration. I have NEVER had this experience before. Again, others are to blame, but not the company. 9/28/26---Update---This was in fact another HARD inquire, as stated on my credit report, which I pulled. As of this evening at 9pm, no updates. Nothing has been resolved, even though this is the error of this company. I didn't send a threating email. I told them I'd be leaving a review so others would know to stay away from a company that has a motto of "we care" and "hold us to our word" yet when you try to address their error, they're very defensive and want to put the blame on the customer/potential customer. Calling me late in the evening and pressuring me to remove a review that is based solely on my experience with this company is threating and illegal. You can't mess up people's credit and deny all responsibility, and force them to lie. I'm not the only person who has had a horrible experience with this company. I have the date the credit was pulled again, and it's listed as a HARD inquiry, no matter how hard this company's owner tries to deny it. It's simple, you want a good review, you provide excellent customer service. Why would I be making up the fact that my credit score took a hit, Optimum did this, when they weren't authorized to do so. I have my email from the new "Madi" loan officer. She told me that she would be using the paperwork/credit report info from the previous loan officer (who somehow just vanished into thin air) when I asked if she'd be running my credit again, she said no, yet they did that the SAME DAY (even though I DID NOT tell her I wanted to continue working with her). Robert told me it was due to human error in the begin of his many texts, then tried to blame it on me. Avoid this company at all costs. I will not be bullied into removing my review. Until there is a good faith effort to correct their obvious mistake this honest and horrible experience will stay. I have no problem leaving a good review, when it's warranted. I do not leave fake reviews, and will not be pressured into leaving one here. Fannie Mae did not pull anything, this company's name shows up 2 time on my "inquires" list, because they did it 2 times. I also didn't get a loan with them, so why are they even continuing to have access to my information?

I had the opportunity to work with Aaron Madonna, as he called me straight-away after the recommendation came through and he was extremely helpful in helping me navigate obtaining a refinance, even though I had less than perfect credit. With some initial information, we was able to tell me that I could likely qualify for a rate that was going to save me over $600/mo, combining my First and Second mortgages and create and escrow for my taxes, PLUS my insurance, which I'd never done before. I have been traveling a lot over the past couple months and Aaron was always great at reaching where I was and very prompt in replying to any emails where I had questions or needed information. I hope that with the new mortgage, I'll be able to better my credit score, and then possibly refinance again, if the rates stay low. Aaron and Endeavor will be my first call. We talked a bit and I…read moretold him what I wanted - to take some of my equity and payoff credit card debt - refinancing my mortgage. Initially he said he would put together a package. A little while later I got an email saying we were not at the correct LTV ratio to refinance. WHAT THE!!? Ok I am new to mortgages but I thought you could refinance at ANY time, not just when you have under 80% and can lose the mortgage insurance. Also, he should have known that while initially on the phone with him. I told him specifically what our mortgage was, how much I wanted for CC and what our home should appraise at. Btw, they check the value of your home based on websites like Redfin and Zillow and Trulia. We've done some extensive remodeled which obviously would not be reflected in the websites estimates- but that wasn't even taken into account. Our home was flat valued at market rate for the AVERAGE unit in our area. No thought of compensating for the kitchen gutting and remodel or the bathroom refresh, which can add serious value to equity. Not even a suggestion of an appraisal Just a flat out "we cannot help you" Hmm, someone out there will refinance us and get a good chunk of change doing it - and we will pay off our CC's and still have tons of equity -just not with these folks. Good luck and God bless .... Review 10/20/18 approximately - I don't know ... I heard the ad. I went to the website and filled out the contact form. I waited for a call back. Nothing. As first-time homebuyers using a VA loan, we wanted a realtor who would listen to our family's needs, guide us through the process, and be patient with all of our questions. Carly was exactly that person. From the beginning, Carly made us feel comfortable and truly took the time to understand what we were looking for in a home. She was knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and always willing to explain what was happening at every step. One of the things we appreciated most was how well she understood the VA home-buying process. She knew the VA requirements and helped us understand what we could and couldn't request or include in our offer. That knowledge gave us confidence and helped the entire process go much more smoothly. Carly was there for us from the search all the way through closing and receiving the keys to our new home. She made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and exciting. We always felt that she genuinely cared about our family and wanted us to find the right home--not just any home. Our advice to anyone buying or selling a home is to choose a realtor who listens, communicates, and understands the type of financing you're using.
