We trusted her to help us ensure that the form was completed accurately and now we're having to get a new house deed. Considering that she is the subject matter expert with these, I would've appreciated and expected her to help ensure that this form was being completed accurately in our best interest. This is an important document that I feel like she dropped the ball with education and ensuring that we were taken care of. Very disappointed and hoping that they rectify this.. I would highly recommend to not use them. They will not do right by their customers.

I called in to them this morning to confirm information so we could send a large wire to them. I…read morespoke to Esther and just have to say she was very disrespectful on so many levels. There is a lot of fraud out there, so I completely understand being safe and asking for information before confirming information. I had all the instructions and was just asking for her to verify. I told her the name of the real estate agent we were sending the wire for, and she instantly became very angry and raised her voice and replied; "she already called me this morning and I told her we do NOT have the revised wire amount ready for her yet, and now she has you calling us?!" I replied that the realtor had literally just given us the updated wire amount, moments before; and I provided that new number to Esther. Esther then placed me on hold without telling me - and I was about to hang up when she came back on the line and told me that I had the correct "revised" wire amount. I had one more thing to clarify, as their wire instructions are 3 pages (I have never seen them this long) and they separate the Escrow Company, and then list another completely separate block of information titled "BENEFICIARY BANK" as though they are separate items. I just asked and wanted to be sure there wasn't an intermediary bank (as there often is). I had one account number and one ABA number, but wanted to be 100% sure that they went together with how the directions were spaced out - and separated - it did not look like they were the same party. She said; "I can't give you information, you need to call the realtor." I had given her all the numbers, and she just got stuck on being sure to make me call the realtor (that I could tell she was already angry at). We had no choice as we had less than 2 hours to get the wire processed. .. And the realtor was of course, not happy that we had to call her and she said that the wire details were included in the instructions she provided to us. The realtor advised that Bank of America had just transmitted with those exact instructions and it went through without a problem. Hearing that helped me determine there was no intermediary bank. It's just so sad that she simply refused to just tell me that. My ONLY goal was to not make any mistakes on an extremely large wire. There were so many people it would have affected if I had not done things correctly. We need to be kind and grateful that we have people being careful for MUTUAL clients that we serve. I really do not understand why people take things personally and are so unkind and unprofessional. I can see this company has great reviews, so this might be a bad apple. In the end our wire went through properly.

Extremely poor experience I would not use Rockpointe Escrow again…read more I recently completed what should have been one of the simplest escrows possible. I have bought and sold more than 20 properties over the years, and this was by far one of the most frustrating escrow experiences I have ever had not because of the buyer, seller, title issue, or property, but because of the escrow company. The communication from Rockpointe Escrow was extremely poor. Basic items were not handled in a timely manner. Estimates were not provided when they should have been. Seller payoff requests were not handled properly or promptly. Recording did not happen when we were told it would. Multiple times, both agents had to stay on top of escrow and communicate with them repeatedly because things were not being done as represented. My biggest concern was the lack of forthright communication. When I spoke with them by phone, I did not feel I was getting clear or truthful answers. On more than one occasion, what I was told did not line up with what later turned out to be the case. When I emailed questions or requested information, Noe often did not respond directly and instead had assistants respond, if there was a response at all. Even after closing, the problems continued. The seller was having difficulty getting his funds released while trying to close another transaction. That is not just poor service -- that can put someone's finances and another real estate deal at risk. This escrow company was selected by the agent, and I regret not stopping the process the moment I saw how poorly things were being handled. If Rockpointe Escrow is selected for your transaction, my advice is simple: stop and insist on another escrow company. A time-sensitive deal could absolutely be put in jeopardy by this level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of accountability. I would not recommend Rockpointe Escrow to anyone.
