In an area where homes and real estate agents can have tendencies to get flaked in materialism, I always found Max to be extremely grounded and professional, with my best interests always in mind. I enjoyed and clicked with Max's no nonsense and analytical renderings of the market. Also noted that he has a tight grip on the pulse of this area (Hwood) and it's pocket listings, ie: what's coming available and when. In addition, I noted that Max puts in 6 to 7 day weeks, which is really necessary to stay informed of a such a fast-moving and volumous market. Calls were always answered and, if not, quickly returned. No errors or misunderstandings that I can recall, and closing was smooth as glass. Really, everything went as it should and w/o a hitch. Lastly, i'll add that I met Max for professional purposes, but in the process of home searching, we became friends. And I'm really glad it turned out that way. Wouldn't you be? And, when the day comes to sell, there's no quesiton who gets the first call.

Review is based off of DPP representing the landlord. I'm relocating to the LA area and had a great…read morerealtor representing me. I fell in love with the home that agent A.H. had listed. The home had been listed for a little over 2 months and the price had been dropped after 1 month by $600. Went to view the property, loved the neighbor and applied, offering $400 below list price based on comps and the length of time listed. Received follow up that there were multiple offers at list price. (Why isn't it rented yet? I had my realtor ask. No response) I offered listing price. No response. A day or two later, received response that to stay competitive, I'd need to agree to a 2 year lease. BTW, also was informed parking in the garage was an extra $200/month, which was not listed on the MLS. I had already walked away mentally, after the initial offer and refused a 2 year lease agreement. This is a rental, not a purchase. I'm not going to have a bidding war for an apartment. I refused the 2 yr lease terms and walked away. A week has past and the place is still listed. As a landlord and homeowner, I feel sorry for the person listing this apartment. A.H. caused them to miss out on a highly qualified tenant. I'll keep watching to see how long until it's under contract.

We ultimately won the bid due to her aggressive approach and being on top of everything. TIME TO EXPAND: We remodeled our home and during this time, we bought a couple of horses. During this time, the market was starting to shift to a buyers market. We were extremely discouraged trying to find buyers, but Rosa made it happen. From the start, he guided us with a strategy that put our best foot forward without pushing our boundaries, ultimately landing us a very competitive house. He took the time to walk us through every detail of the offer process and made sure we understood the implications of each decision. Once our offer was accepted, Terry made what could've been a very stressful process feel enjoyable and easy as first time homebuyers. He created a clear timeline/calendar, scheduled everything on our behalf from inspections to lender calls, and kept everyone (including us and the other parties) on track the entire time. He was always proactive, organized, and kept us informed on what we needed to do and when. Beyond just being a great agent, Terry is also incredibly friendly, genuine, and clearly had our best interests at heart. As first-time homebuyers, we couldn't have asked for a better guide through the process. 11/10 recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home!!

Over the years, we've worked side by side in different capacities -- from our prior lives in the corporate retail world to competing together in basketball leagues and winning championships. Now, as a highly respected and reputable real estate agent on the Westside of Los Angeles, it was only fitting that I reached out to him when my wife and I were ready to purchase our first home. Immediately after we were approved by our lender, I reached out to Terry with my hat in my hand and humbly asked that he represent us. Without hesitation, Terry jumped in, guiding us through the entire process of placing our first offer on a wonderful home in Culver City. Not only did Terry stand with us through every single step, he educated us, empowered us, and made sure we were actively part of the process. His guidance not only helped us achieve our dream of buying a home -- it helped us grow as a family and as professionals, navigating the biggest milestones of our lives. 20+ years of dreaming and saving for a home became a reality within 45 days, something we're still processing. When we initially called Terry, we told him we were ready to place an offer on a home we had seen and fallen in love with. That next weekend, Terry accompanied us to revisit the home, and he also scheduled three other viewings for us. We're so thankful Terry had this foresight because after revisiting the original unit, we began to notice all the dirt under the nails and became turned off at the idea of having to do so much work just to make it livable. Our attitudes quickly changed when we visited the home we ultimately decided to place an offer on. While it wasn't staged, it had personality and checked all our prerequisites and gave us flexibility to add our own personal touch here and there without having to completely remodel. Soon after, we submitted our offer on this home, which had been sitting on the market for a month. Throughout this journey, Terry and his team's attention to detail, patience in answering our countless questions, and unwavering advocacy made all the difference. Terry even connected us with an excellent homeowners insurance agent who we purchased both homeowners and earthquake insurance from, and worked with an amazing escrow team in Santa Monica that went above and beyond. I've known Terry for almost 20 years, but through this process, it feels like I got to know him for another 20. His professionalism, dedication, and heart turned what could have been an incredibly stressful experience into a dream realized. We are overjoyed, grateful, and will recommend Terry and his team without reservation to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
