We have used Castle Tile for 2 major home renovations and we have referred our friends there. They have great selection and a very large showroom, but nothing beats the customer service. We waited 40 mins at Home Depot bc we needed to get basic subway tiles that same day for the contractor and after asking 3 employees to page someone from tile, we finally got help. We ended up just going onto Castle for the rest of the tiles. They have good selection, and most of all, they are friendly, knowledgeable and very patient. Some tiles/items take longer to get because they are special or back ordered so be aware of this before your project. We needed the pebble tiles for the shower floor sooner than anticipated, and they did their best to track down the shipment for us since it took 2 days longer to arrive than the rest of the materials. Whoever said Kimmarra is endlessly patient is spot on. Wide selection of tiles for bath, kitchen and flooring needs. They appear to have good relationships with their suppliers and many of the local contractors, so the process from ordering to pickup is pretty seamless. In my experience, it's not worth dealing with HD or Lowe's if you have a little time, and you are picky about tile selection. The staff will offer tips and pointers if you ask them for their opinion. Plan on spending a lot of time there because there are so many options. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Highly recommend Kimmara and William. Not only does she have 30 years of experience with tiles, but she has a great eye for design. We didn't have any previous experience with tiles before our complete bathroom remodels. Kimmara patiently educated us on different materials and designs and we could not be more pleased. Any remodel is a stressful endeavor, so when someone can relieve some of that, it is a blessing. Add great communication, attention to detail, and integrity and that's what you get with Castle. I've used Castle Tile for 2 major renovations. First for my kitchen last year and most recently for my master bathroom. Kimmara was so helpful and friendly both times. I came to her shop several times while trying to decide on the right tile and she never made me feel like I was a bother. She personally helped me choose the tile and made great suggestions. She researched a manufacturer I saw on Houzz that she didn't carry and ordered me samples. I am grateful that they let you take samples home too. Stop here first. I searched many of the big and small tile stores from South OC to the Anaheim area looking for tile. Some of the showrooms are huge but the selection still isn't all that impressive and nothing was jumping out at me. I did a quick google search and Castle Tile came up so I thought I would just stop in before I settled for some other tile choices that I liked but wasn't exactly thrilled with. I am so glad I stopped in here. This place has a really beautiful carefully chosen tile assortment. The whole assortment in the store is beautiful, even the ones that aren't my personal taste were still nice. They have everything you see on Pinterest and Houzz and also anything you may have dreamed up. They let me take numerous samples out and never acted irritated or bothered by me coming back and fourth and swapping out new samples. I ultimately picked out every single tile in my entire house remodel from this one store and I am super particular with what I want. The ladies here are friendly and know their stuff. This is a great place if you want someone to give you great customer service and guidance as well. I highly recommend them, whether you are a designer, contractor or homeowner you will find what you are looking for. read more

OK - customer service was lovely. We placed our order and everything arrived in the week it was promised. Everything was beautiful and the finished job looks terrific. Now the downside: we ordered extra on the white subway tile and have a full box left over. I understand that they will charge a restocking fee, but they won't take anything back after 30 days...from the day you pay - the day you are invoiced. That means the clock starts ticking when you place your order - not the day you actually receive your materials. My contractor ran into some problems on another job, so he didn't start when we originally agreed and then I made the command decision to not start a kitchen redo the week before Thanksgiving, so now that we're all done, I can't return the unopened, unused box of tile. Sigh. The nice lady on the phone explains dye lots, bla bla bla, but still. read more

I love this place. The customer service is amazing. I came here after a bad experience with another tile store (surprisingly a common story). They were so accommodating and helped me find the perfect tile for my fire place, bathrooms and shower. Good pricing and helped to make sure I had all of my supplies (grout, hardy backer, etc). Castle Tile is by far the best tile store around! This store has so much selection from mosaics, countertops, flooring and wall tiles. Found this place on google after having a bad experience at another tile store. It has a great selection of tile and more importantly, excellent customer service. Pricing is also competitive. Ended out buying tile there for my bathroom and will be going back to do my kitchen backsplash. I would definitely recommend this place! Oh, to boot, they have a little area for kids. Kimmara was very helpful and spent a lot of time with us selecting the right tile. The contractor underestimated the amount of tile we needed in our shower and we ended up being short a couple of pieces. Kimmara found us a couple of pieces of sample tile which saved us from delaying the finish since the tile had to come all the way from Florida. On my third project with Castle Tile, I was looking for a particular stone tile. I sometimes get my material from a large wholesaler in Orange, however, my salesman assured me that his product was far superior, cleaner, and more consistent. When the order came in, I thought they had sent "seconds" as the stone was horrible. I rejected most of the tiles but the second batch was just as worse. I also paid more money per square foot because I was duped into thinking I was getting a superior product. They would not order any more, probably because this was a true representation from their supplier. I could have gotten the same if not better at my vendor in Orange for much less money. Needless to say, I will never do business with this company again. read more

We ordered tile for our bathroom and kitchen backsplash. The tile for the bathroom was received along with the Schluter edge moulding. One small problem as the moulding and the tile were both 3/16 making it difficult to install. In checking the Schluter website they recommend using their 1/2 profile with 3/16 tile. Hmm, shouldn't that have been know by Castle when we ordered? The backsplash was another matter. Ordered in early October we were told that we would receive in six weeks. We received NO communication from Castle until we began calling in January and were told that they were having problems with their distributor and had no idea when if ever we would receive this order. We ordered a different tile (Castle did offer us a discount) and the tile came in quickly which should have ended the saga, however, when I began installing the tile there were number of sheet that had cracked or missing tiles. I paid for first quality and got run of the mill product. I have done multiple tile install over the years and received better quality from discounters such as Home Depot and Floor and Decor. The bottom line is I paid a premium price and got second class material and service. read more
