If you are looking for a property in Lubbock Texas or the surrounding areas and they are being manage by this company stay away as far as possible. Terrible customer service and they will just take your money. I rented a house from this business for 5 years, while we were doing school in Lubbock. Not once we were late with the rent payment, you will think that would make you a good client. Their repair services were the worst, hard to get a hold of them for any maintenance repairs on the house. The ex-husband of the owner would come out some times, trying to repair things and never could do so. After all the fail attempts they would call a professional to come out. What a joke... If you called after hours or weekend, good luck you can wait couple days or maybe weeks to get a call back. To top it off, you can say goodbye to your security deposit, as they will make bogus charges and eat it up and still owe them money. The house that we lived in, had 17 windows with blinds. I was charge for 14 of them, despite 60% of the windows couldn't be opened because they were shut glued with paint, which meant blinds were always closed. I was told that we didn't put this in the initial move in inspection sheet, I'm not a magician that can see in the future and when will this things will get damage by the elements. Keep in mind the weather elements in Lubbock can be brutal and the materials used weren't first quality.
Before we moved out, we cleaned the house so thoroughly and did all the paint touch up ourselves, to try and get some of the deposit back. Came to find out that it wasn't up to Castle property standards, that they had to do it again and take it out from our deposit. Let me just mentioned that when we moved into this house, it was full of dog/cat hair and spider webs. It took us our first 2 days to clean this house to make it habitable for our family and we mentioned it to them and the response was that they didn't know the previous person had pets. We weren't reimburse for time and money spent on chemicals to do it ourselves.
Moral of the story, if moving to Lubbock. Rent an apartment, go with another property management company and stay away from this place. If I could give them a zero stars I would. read more
