Hash and eggs for Breakfast! The breakfast potatoes were too good! And the best Bloody Mary I've had in I don't know how long - A breakfast plate includes two sunny-side-up eggs, roasted potatoes, and a fruit garnish with strawberries, blueberries, and a flower. A Bloody Mary and a glass of water are also visible.

Amazing Breakfast! Clean comfortable rooms! The staff was so friendly and happy to assist. Even when I had special requests they were on point! seem less check in/check out! I could go on forever. We will definitely be back soon! The new ownership has really done so much with the establishment since the last time we visited! Quite impressed

Omelette with caramelized onions, spinach, and mushrooms

My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious breakfast on their patio overlooking the marsh. Even though this Inn is right on a busy street, it was quiet and peaceful. We both enjoyed our meals very much: the breakfast potatoes are served with caramelized onions and they were outstanding. The waitress also mentioned the chef's hollandaise sauce was fantastic, so we are excited to come back here and try more things!

Fantastic place to stay if you love the price of the Hamptons and quality of a motel 6. Very low quality room with purposefully misleading advertising. Will never think about this place again.

I spent the weekend at this beautiful inn in Gloucester for a wedding this past weekend as part of the bridal party. The innkeepers were fantastic in setting up the wedding to go perfectly, all planned down to a T, and even with a terrible noreaster they kept the wedding going on time and without too much confusion. The rooms were a little dated, but cute and cozy during the storm. Bathroom was cute but small, and the bed was on the hard side, though I slept fine. For the friendly and helpful service this place earns a 4 in my book!

During this Covid year we ended up here as the owner, Laura started accommodating "Pop-Up" weddings as our previous venue did not work out. Laura and her staff were amazing to work with planning this in 8 weeks taking into consideration the ever changing state guidelines for out door weddings. Fast forward to 8.23.20...Ceremony, cocktail hour tastefully set up outside and then a powerful storm moved in knocking out power for the night! There was no generator in this 1800's manor so Dan the executive Chef reacted quickly and cooked all the food for our 47 guests with propane and Sterno's. The result was piping hot Haddock, Chicken and steak-tips for all to enjoy! No music from the DJ so we broke out Bluetooth speakers and candlelight for entertainment in the back tent. A few guests had some issues with the mattresses and wish there were refrigerators in the rooms but for the most part everyone had an enjoyable stay and even some after hours fun!! Thanks to Laura and team, we will be back!!

Bait and switch operation. They get you to book on booking sites then they tell you your room is in a seperate dump of a motor lodge.

We had a view from the second floor across the street to Gloucester Bay and the famous mariners statue. Downtown is a short walk in one direction, and the bridge that is seen on Wicked Tuna a short walk in the opposite direction. There is a fabulous waterfront park a short distance away with beautiful views for a hike. We did not use our car during the visit. Since they had availability, we were taken on a tour and were able to choose our room. Everything was in working order, with the room very large and comfortable. We stayed over Wednesday night and the evening "sing was directly below our room. I was reminded for some reason to call and catch up with my sweat lodge hippy quaker sister and see how she was doing (just fine thanks). I am sure it was our imagination, but the following morning we heard something scurrying across the roof. My wide asked if I thought it was the famous muffin bunny. I checked the door, and there was the muffin basket. We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn, and in Gloucester. If you visit the Inn, and are staying on the second floor, pack light as the stairway is a bit steep.

Pointed out a nice walk along the coastline into town in a way you can't miss it. We slept in the pebble beach room. What a view!!! Nice sunset, looking over the ocean. In the morning they prepare a nice breakfast with fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, cake, bread and eggs, and pancakes. Coffee is per machine which gives everybody a wide variety of flavors and let you decide how strong you'd like your coffee. Then when you're set and prepared for breakfast you can sit outside on the porch (I love porches!!!) or in the garden at the pond. Then again start enjoying. The sunrise, the nice environment and stroll a bit up and down the street afterwards... It's so lovely here. The room itself was nice and comfortable but still a star is missing as we had to shower in the bathtub. Normally that's not a big problem, but as we sere standing in the tub under the roof you have to lean sideways not to bump your head and there is no place to put the shower head. So have to keep it in your hands. So while your standing in the tub, holding the shower head, leaning sideways you also have to wash yourself. I think this is a big minus for everybody taller then 5 ft ;)

This review is specifically for the Oceanfront Breakfast Cafe…read more While we have stayed at the Inn several times, we continue to come back for the Breakfast Cafe. When they say the best breakfast in Gloucester, it's not an exaggeration! The couple that owns the Inn/Cafe are very hospitable and welcoming people. I've been visiting for the past 15+ years and every stay and meal has always been exceptional. Additionally, the staff they hire and employ is equally committed. It is truly a five-star operation. We were recently up in the area visiting Gloucester and Rockport. As always, one of those mornings meant we had to stop at Atlantis Oceanfront Cafe! It is a MUST. I almost hate letting this gem/secret out. It is the best place for breakfast with the very best view. It is post-card perfect. Your window table overlooks the rocks+water and you can visually see and hear the waves crashing against the rocks. It doesn't get much more picturesque or scenic than that! While the menu has changed a bit since my last visit, the quality has not. The breakfast portions are very generous and everything is of the highest quality. Our favorite is the eggs Benedict. Those perfectly poached eggs resting on top of those bakery-quality English muffins. The tender Canadian bacon. The perfect amount of creamy, perfectly seasoned hollandaise sauce. The side of tender and perfectly seasoned breakfast potatoes. It doesn't get any better than that in my book! Another favorite of mine is their GIANT Fresh Blueberry Pancakes. They remind me greatly of every childhood trip to the Atlantis and Gloucester. I've always told my family if I had to have one last breakfast, let's hope Atlantis Cafe is in season! I am not joking either! Service is always top priority. Friendly and expeditious. The kitchen is open to the dining room and their culinary takes true pride in every plate they put out. If you're looking for the best breakfast with the best view in Gloucester, Atlantis Oceanfront is the place. I did notice the secret has gotten out as of late! We did have a short 15-minute wait this last visit. Parking can also be challenging given the lot size and guest/staff vehicles parked for the Inn. The patience is worth the reward! Best Breakfast in Gloucester. Period. Wonderful, Involved Owners.

They pulled some tables and chairs together to fit us all in a row. The setting and ambiance is very diner like with the address of the great ocean view. The menu was only one page but had all the essentials for a great breakfast. The waitress was quick off the mark to grab our drink orders. The coffee nice a hot, good cup of joe. 5/5 Fish cakes and eggs - I wanted to try something unique and they had this spectacular dish on menu. The fish cakes contained fresh chunks of fish and was seasoned just right. It wasn't too salty so went well with the spinach. The home fries were good and eggs over easy were done perfectly. The soft egg yolk broke and oozed just fine over the fish cakes. Definitely will come back again for breakfast when in the area.
