Peter and his staff take care of all the small details and truly let the bride and groom just enjoy themselves. I had questions leading up to the big day and Peter was so responsive to emails. The natural beauty of this venue was wonderful. So many flowers and such greenery. The food was awesome and we had a lot of compliments. Centerpieces were gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for them to be more beautiful! If I had to do it all over again I'd pick this venue each time!

Peter's staff was so nice and helpful. This venue is all inclusive and includes the DJ, food, flowers/center pieces, etc. We got married outside in the gazebo and it was just perfect. The sun faces the gazebo in the late afternoon/early evening, so it wasn't too cold, even though it was only 55 degrees outside! I would HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue (the capacity of guests is 110, so if you need a large place, Peter's family also owns a larger wedding venue - I think the name of it is Double D Ranch). Today there were three packed events. Jam packed. The bathrooms were full. Half the stalls had out of order signs on them. The other half missing TP. The sinks half did not work. This is crucial. Moving forward the week of the quince I had to give final payment and she completely changed everything on me I didn't have access to venue Friday cause she said "unless you want to pay extra" I was like and I could only go Wednesday and Thursday to set up or practice! She even asked about the Dj if he was going to have all these lights cause she wasn't going to stay till 2am waiting for them! The day of the quince she was only giving us an hour to drop off stuff at the venue and she'd be back at 5pm for my event in which my invite had said 5pm like how ghetto setting up while guest are arriving! She was hella rude to my husband, the DJ, and the band. She also didn't set up the second venue in which we had already said we wanted both venues because our numbers of guest will grow, I almost forgot she charged me to have security because we were serving alcohol she did not have them there! She's so forgetful and argues that she didn't say certain things! Like why put have a venue business if you're going to be picking af and not keep your word! If anything she owes me money for not going is the full day like her website says I should have just paid for the 4/5 hours if I know she was gonna be a pain! This place doesn't even deserve a star at all!!!

Just not what I'd expect from Marriott and I'm loyal. Mesquite is not somewhere I'd ever stay but thought I'd be safe with a Marriott property in Texas. Reality check! The highway is soooo loud. No sleep just horrible. I came to mesquite for work. There are no decent hotels in the mesquite area which I just learned so I recommend staying in Dallas or Frisco and make the drive which is what I'd do next time. This place is awful.

The bath tub and shower needed to be recocked. The carpet in the rooms felt dirty as well like it was old carpet. When I got into my room my window was open but it wouldn't shut all the way. So I listen to the highway all night. I had to check in late so I was already tired and didn't want to deal with changing rooms.
