I noticed a the harry potter character's ties were more expensive here than HT. HT sold them for 10 and it was 12 there. It's not my favorite place bc I hate scary things but if it's your cup of tea to make your house scary as heck, this is the place for you. I might have stood some distance away from my bf as he pushed the buttons on the decor. I need to find a place that "cutify" scary things for it to work lol. They have changing rooms and the costumes ranged pretty much from $60-$90 and you get to keep them for a week! We rented on the Saturday prior to Halloween Friday and didn't have to return it until Monday, 11/3. You put down your credit card as deposit and pay a cleaning fee when you rent. Be careful because if you lose or damage the costume it ends up being something like $350!!

After catching up with my friend, I walked through the entryway into a completely different world. Well, country, I guess. There were racks of beautiful belly dancer outfits, statues of Egyptian gods, jewelry, papyrus prints, just awesome. I stayed to chat with the owner, Dee Dee, who is ridiculously sweet and helpful. We originally had her scheduled for 4pm but with a lack of planning on my part I had asked if she could come at 3 thinking we'd be ready. I definitely messed that one up and had to move it back to 4. Cana took it in stride to which I was extremely grateful. My daughter is a huge Elena fan and the personal time she spent with my birthday girl was a gift in itself. Cana opened presents with her, helped with the cake cutting and I think we may have blinded her with the 100's of photos she took with all the guests. Cana then put on a magic show for the kids, played a couple of games and even got them to get up and do some dancing with her! What was even more impressive is that she got my "too cool for anything" preteen nephew to take part in the activities! In the end, she left us very impressed and the kids wanting us to invite her to their birthday parties. So we look forward to having her back in the next few months.
