Droped off 14k WHITE GOLD TO GET BACK SILVER!!???!! dropped off a broken 14k white gold thin necklace to get repaired, I picked it up almost a week later in a hurry to catch the train home from work. when I got home, I came to realize that the stamp on chain was marked "925".... The guy gave me a SILVER chain (looking like mine) in place of my 14k white gold necklace that belonged to my mother!! My original chain included a pendant that I kept home until the chain was fixed. I went back and questioned him to get no cooperation and for him to say "I have been in this business for 15yrs and I make no mistake like that." I asked if he had the ticket and he would not cooperate and said he doesn't have the ticket there. I will continue to fight to get my REAL chain back and try to let everyone know what kind of business this is!! As I was leaving(after being blown off) another man came to complain of a ring he purchased from him that had the gold wearing off!! i told the man good luck and explained what had happened to me. Since the necklace belonged to my mother, not only did I lose in the amount of worth but a sentimental piece of my mother's remembering. You CAN NOT TRUST THIS JEWELER!!!!!!!!!!. Even if it was a simple mistake he refused to even look into the matter!!! read more
