I gave John a picture and within a week he called me, he had the peach sapphire in store. It was better than the picture I showed him, it was perfect. Words cannot express how much I appreciate and value, the work, craftsmanship and unbelievable level of customer service that John and Caputo's jewelers showed me during an emergency situation today. I had purchased a $4000 Rado watch for a loved one and was ready to give it to them for their birthday. Unfortunately Caputo's was closed due to vacation. I decided to go to a business right across the street, unfortunately that company was not forthright with the fact that the person that was there was not even a jeweler; but after 10 minutes of butchering a brand new, just unwrapped watch... the man came to me and finally admitted he didn't even know he was doing... that he wasn't even a jeweler... only after 10 minutes of butchering a Rado Chrono with a hammer, metal tools, and not properly securing the watch (finally saw he used lunch napkin) the finish on the band was scratched, gouged, and damaged a brand new watch. Thankfully everyone at Caputo's and John the next morning saved the day. Cannot believe how little they charged for emergency work; it showed me that they care about people well above what's expected. The care and level of detail that went in was unreal. John and everyone at Caputo's has genuinely earned a loyal customer for life, anything that I'll need and want pertaining to my horological and jewelry needs that they can do, or supply... I'm there bar none!
