First and foremost the service is great; well I was the only customer at the time. They have a generous selection of necklaces the size of tree trunks, That's all and good if you have 80k to spend. My only gripe is I returned a Medalion cause it was too small. The Medalion was offered to me for $185 for the bigger one,but I bought the $150 option. I've never dealt with a shadier more disrespectful business in my entire life. After spending $1500 not in including shipping, I had returned the item due to them misleading info as the item was considerably smaller. I asked this company to provide more options due to the headache working with this company has created. I agreed to another item in comparable value. However, upon receiving the item, it was not as described and was hollow. I again sent this item back and requested a refund. What proceeded was a phone call from "Eddy" , who began to berate me with homophobic slurs, insulted and disrespected me with comments similar to an adolescent child that learned how to swear. When he ran out of breath as a result from insulting me (unsolicited btw) I asked if this was standard protocol to call customers and insult them. Not surprisingly, he hung up. I purchased an ankh pendant from @jay.dajeweler on Instagram. The website he links on his instagram is for the fordham gold mine site. He obviously works for the store. The site says satisfaction guaranteed, and if you're not satisfied, you can have a refund with no questions asked. They also said you can exchange if preferred. When I tried to get the refund, because the pendant is hollow, not solid as advertised, and is rhodium plated, which was never mentioned. Also, not all the diamonds in the piece test as real diamonds, which made me leery. The diamonds don't appear to be the quality advertised either. In any case, they said no questions asked for a refund, but when I asked for the refund, they told me I need to pay a hefty "restocking fee" which amounted to about $500. Also, when I said to go ahead and just process the refund, and that I'd dispute the transaction, they refused my right to the refund altogether, and refused the refund and exchange. The manager, Eddie, was rude, and hung up on me over the phone. I'm still in the process of disputing this, and I'm warning buyers wherever I can, to stay away from this company, and beware. They will not honor their refund/exchange policy, so watch out. @jay.dajeweler has since blocked me on Instagram, and he refused to acknowledge any of my private messages to discuss this matter. This scammer jeweler deserves no stars!!! I ordered a pair of diamond hoop earrings that I initially saw at other jewelers for around $3800. However, I located fordham's on Instagram for only $1800. I should've known it was too good to be true, but I specifically asked Jason (jeweler at Fordham) if the diamonds were authentic and not lab created and he swore that they were absolutely not lab diamonds, but authentic diamonds instead. Anyway when I received the package, the diamond earrings were definitely lab created. The diamonds had a semi transparent rainbow glow on them as if it was printed on it. Immediately I knew something was off about them, the following day I took them to 3 different jewelers who all confirmed that they certainly were lab diamonds. (Lab created diamonds will pass the diamond detector test, so do not feel assured to purchase diamonds from Fordham) After, I texted Jason and told him I specifically asked if they were lab diamonds and he said no and that if I known they were, I would not have purchased them and my jeweler confirmed that they are labs his only response was "okay, send them back and I will give you a full refund"... Wow! Jason is a total scam artist and I would'nt recommend anyone to purchase ANY item from him.
