I have purchased two firearms from the Shorewood location, have had two friends/family members purchase guns there, and have used their range countless times. I am 100% a customer for life of this location. The staff at Shoot Point Blank in Shorewood are nothing short of incredible. Every single member of staff I have met was extremely professional, helpful, kind, and friendly. One staff member in particular, Ben, is a WONDERFUL person that has helped me many times. He is extremely down to earth and easy to talk to, and is one of the reasons I keep coming here even after moving 70+ miles away. The best part of Shoot Point Blank is their range. It is clean, well kept, and well monitored. The Range Officers allow you to enjoy your time shooting without breathing down your neck. However, in the event the RO's see you breaking range/safety rules, they will address the issue in a professional manner. Mega Sports has got to have the most unfriendly, bad-attitude driven employees I've ever encounters. Want to rent a pistol that you may want to purchase? Expect an attitude. Want to look at a $1200 Kimber to possibly purchase? Expect an attitude. Have any questions about anything? Yep! Expect an attitude. And their shooting range? Wear a gas mask. I doubt those filters (if any) have been cleaned in the past 10 years. Take the time to drive to any other range and you'll be glad you did. It's a shame, too, as they have one of the largest gun inventories around. I'm guessing this range is corporate owned, because anyone I know that would own a business where the customer comes last, wouldn't allow it for a moment. Everyone would be fired, and new hires would be trained to realize that the only reason they have a job there... IS FOR THE CUSTOMERS!

I highly recommend this business. Chris is an excellent instructor. He knows the laws, answers the questions and encourages students to reach out after the class with questions or how to navigate the online registration for CCL. Chris is very nice and has a nice sense of humor. Went to the range to qualify and I was very nervous as it has been a while since I went shooting. Chris helped me throughout the whole shooting process, giving me instructions and tips on how to load, check, stand, etc. Absolutely go to HBT. Worth it.
