I called Hoovers the next morning and told them what the car was doing and asked could they service it. I spoke with a guy name Jeff. Jeff stated it would be $129 for diagnostic and tow. I paid for that over the phone. 30 mins later , Jeff called me to advise me that they had sent a worker out to McDonald's to jump start the car and did work , so I'd have to pay for a tow. Yes , that's correct after he told me it was included in the $129. I used my roadside assistance and got the car towed to Hoovers. About 3 hours later , Jeff called me and stated they figured out what the problem was and the car needed a Starter. I asked if that was it , and he stated " yes , but after we put the started on if we find anything else , I'll call and let you know ". He told me the Starter and Labor would total $645. I thought that was kind of high , but my son needed his car the semester was ending in 2 days. I paid $300 for the Starter right then. Jeff stated I could pay the remaining $345 when he calls and tells me the car is ready. He told me the Starter was in a difficult place , so that's why the labor was $345. 35 minutes later , Jeff called me and told me my son car was ready for pickup. YES , labor was $345 for 35 minutes. He also told me , nothing else seemed wrong with the car. Picked the car up , the next day my son leaves to come home and the car stopped again after driving about 12 miles down the road. I called Hoovers , they told me to have it towed back and what they did was next warranty. Mind you the car is doing the exact same thing from the first time they had. Jeff calls me a day later and tells me , the motor locked up , but they can't understand how it locked up cause it's oil in the car. Basically spent $800 for 12 miles. Jeff was rude , hind the phone up in my face and tried to say my son prob drives bad so the engine messed up. Very disrespectful! I wouldn't , take a bicycle to this shop , let alone another vehicle. STAY AWAY , FAR AWAY !!!!!

When trying to install my bulb, I found out the bulb given to me was completely different. When I went back I had to show the burnt bulb so I could properly get the correct bulb. While trying to resolve the issue a young lady whom had assisted me with removing the battery for testing told me to not worry,I mentioned I had to be at a location that day Thursday to assist with volunteering at the food pantry. The guy asks what car she has and checks to see if they have the tires available, this was at 1:20 on February 8th and she was 5 minutes down the road on a 75 MPH highway, after checking and stating they did have them available he then told her they would not be able to help her as they close at 2. He also told my sister they were rare and hopefully somewhere in Greenville would have them. She was panicked and had to go 40 on a busy highway which nearly resulted in an accident. I understand that business hours are in place for a reason, but I find it extremely disappointing that no effort was made to assist someone in an urgent and potentially hazardous situation. Surely this wasn't the owner of the business but regardless it's unacceptable to not help in a situation like that. I'm completely disgusted with the lack of human decency and would hope in the future you wouldn't treat anyone like you did my sister.

The customer service was great and they got to my car quickly for it being a Saturday. They checked my tires and put air in them and didn't charge me a thing. Kind, quick, attentive, reasonable prices…read more I just went and got two new tires put on my truck today, after calling earlier to check if they had them in stock. They had two sets of new tires in stock at different price points, and said I can get a deal if I paid in cash. The prices were comparable to my local tire dealer and they were located closer to me, so I decided to give them a try. When I arrived, I was met by Rodolfo, who turned out to be a very kind and soft-spoken young man. He showed me the tires I asked about and after I selected the ones he told me to pull the truck in the bay and invited me and my child to wait in the lobby, which had several comfortable chairs and a large TV screen that shows you the inside of the garage. It was a comfortable wait They spotted a small screw in the sidewall of one of my original tires. He said it would be about $45 to patch a side wall. When I checked with my local tire dealer, they're willing to do $10 plugs or patches, if it's some thing they can patch. When I told Rodolfo this, he said he'd be willing to price match it. It took Rodolfo and his coworker less than 30 minutes to move my back tires forward and put two new tires on the back. His coworker was a young Caucasian man with a beard and mustache, that was also very kind but I didn't get his name. When it came time to pay, I paid with my debit card and I had misunderstood debit card as the same as cash. Rodolfo noted the misunderstanding, but left the ticket as it was. I felt so bad for the misunderstanding, but he just smiled said it would be fine. In addition, he decided since this was my first time there, there would be no charge for the sidewall patch at all,. He's a very generous guy, and he says the owner is also a very, very kind man. It definitely shows in their workmanship. They offered to drive my truck around, and even noted a rattling sound coming from my wheels of my truck, and they wanted to double check that they had not caused it to rattle. I reassured then that was a noise original to my truck wheels it had always made, and they complimented my truck and hoped that I return. I would have no problem giving them more business in the future.
