BREACH OF CONTRACT. Would not recommend this business. This is not a legitimate orthodontist. By far, worst experience, no professionalism. This place PREYS ON PEOPLE THAT ARE LOWER INCOME AND WHO THEY THINK CANNOT LEGALLY DEFEND THEMSELVES AND ARE NOT AWARE OF THEIR LEGAL RIGHTS. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT AWARE OF THE PROPOSAL OF A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR HIRING A LEGAL PROFESSIONAL ON A CONTINGENCY BASIS. This place gets as many people in as possible and has kids that are not orthodontists working at a rapid pace, challenging them to get things done in record time. This is a brainwashing issue. Due to this, braces were put on my children and have come off on varied occasions including the first day. One of my older children was told to cut her own wires when they broke. They refused to see her on an urgent basis. They wanted to schedule her, 3 months out. They originally told us per contract that appointments would be scheduled on a monthly basis. I have arrived at appointments, just to be told that they cancelled and had already given the appointments to another patient, mind you, I called to confirm prior to leaving home. They schedule appointments without notifying and call it a missed appointment. My family had an unexpected double loss of life in our family, Dr. Castilla enacted as if there was concern, but it was more of a backstabbing venue/conversation. I stated how I felt, with that, I was threatened that Castilla would discontinue care for my children. I contacted a third party relating to the contract in breach. They promised to care for my children ongoing and failed to schedule appointments at intervals as promised, thus placing blame on me as, "non-compliant." Additionally, I call to schedule and I'm told that the doctor will call me the following day to schedule. I say,"No, I need to schedule now the same as other clients," I get passed to at least 3-4 different people each time I called. When I miss the call, they claim that I'm "non-compliant." How peculiar. Great thing that I document, EVERYTHING. Ironically, they felt the need to "cover up." Margo sent my adult daughter a email within 20 minutes of my phone conversation w Dr Castilla and relayed the idea that she was being terminated as a patient due to having, "Problems with her Braces." This daughter has no connection with my account, but they are aware that we are related. Hmmmm??? This particular daughter was told that they would not work on her braces until her wisdom teeth were removed. Her regular dentist objected to this and said that her wisdom teeth did not need to be removed. So Castilla Vs Dental Professional.... Castilla then sent a letter placing blame on me and my child in attempt to cover this up as well and to discontinue services if I did not sign an agreement to remove hardware. This is being done in attempt to protect themselves from legal venues. This place is racing to get as many people in that they can, therefore fail to schedule appointments in a timely manner. They want to schedule regular maintenance, 3 months in between each visit. When I initially began treatment, they scheduled on a monthly or close to that basis. Anything to make another dollar. Anyone that would like more information or validation to assist in their efforts to prevent Castilla to continue is welcome to ask. I'm more than willing to assist as this is merely a small story of the horrific experience that my children and myself as well have endured. I hope this helps all that are experiencing the same. Financial: Realistic rates. Several payment options. They work with you to help make the financial part less painful. Staff: Love all of them! Friendly, personable and somehow able to remember you and what is going on with your kid in treatment. They really care. Environment: relaxing yet upbeat. My kids love the snack area and I love the coffee. Wonderful incentives for the patients to do what they need to do for successful treatment. Fun monthly drawings. Summer ice cream is a hit. Im on my 3rd child today starting treatment. They have worked well with me financially in my situation. My kids (now teens) actually enjoy coming in. All 3 needed very different treatment plans but all were explained so we could understand. Highly recommend!!! read more

Both my kids go to Dr. Castilla and I can not brag enough about how great her office is. The staff is wonderful , they are very nice, welcoming, and professional . My kids love her incentives to brush their teeth, they were great when it came to the financial portion of the braces and have never had a bad experience.
