They work together as a team a unit and they made my experience so much less scary. I felt well taken care of. Not to mention, I had to reschedule my appointment multiple times due to life expectancy and change. Dr.Koh and staff were very patient and kind about it. And my nerves were out the window and down the street the morning of my surgery. Dr Hughes's team was stellar EVERY last employee was smiling and kind and telling me that everything would be fine. I had a pre-op meeting with Dr. Hughes and my husband so I would have post-op info before sedation. The Dr cleared up a lot of facts about recovery. He was absolutely genuine and caring. He eased my nerves by simply being kind. When I was moved to operation room he had 2 other staff in there and they were so gentle so sweet. I went night night and came too as they were wheeling me to the car. I can't sing their praises enough. I will always recommend Dr. Hughes. Him and his team went above and beyond. Edit: 1 week post-op and I'm feeling great! This oral surgeon is magnificent! I highly highly highly recommend him if your insurance covers his work! His work is so unbelievably precise and careful. It started with a soreness then progress to all my lower front teeth. I was in so much pain. It was a Saturday and I didn't know if I could stand the pain until Monday. My wife happened to find this dentist that had awesome reviews, so I decided to try. The Doctor was very friendly and professional. He got me in ASAP. In the process of looking at my gum he noticed a severe tarter build up on my front lower back of teeth. That was my main issue. The Doctor and his Dental partner...I believe her name was Danielle were so busy that they didn't have really any time that day, but somehow they were able to squeeze me in. Thank God. During the numbing process to the deep cleaning process They were very gentle, courteous, and made sure I was comfortable in all aspects of my dental work. I want to thank you both for the awesome experience with your business. You 2 rock. I will definitely be a new customer. This is a long post but please read if you plan on getting a ROOT CANAL done here…read more Please DO NOT go here. I mean it from the bottom of my heart. You will regret getting a root canal done here. I got mine done 1/12/2026. The process was brutal and dr. gil did my procedure. Throughout the process nearing the end of my root it started to get painful and then he perforated my sinus cavity. The bleach solution they put through your tooth for the root canal went up my sinus and I gagged from it , since it was gross. When he would pause to take XRAYs of his work, he would ask his assistant if it looked good. His assistant said I don't know while looking down. This happened three times. Also, he would handle my face a bit roughly which took me by surprised. When they would pause for the xrays I caught my hands shaking and my legs too. I felt like a baby! But after my root canal. He then put a huge temp crown that felt and looked like a dried lump of playdough. After the whole thing was done, that same night my left nostril would leak brown and red fluid, which took a week for that to stop. He told me to take pseudoephedrine to cure that. It never worked. I felt so much pain throughout the wait period for my permanent crown, which was going to take about a month or two. I started to feel ear and sinus pain all on my left side. I started experiencing hearing loss and my eye started to swell too. I went back to this clinic for help and the dr said something along the lines of, I can't do anything for you, other than give you a referral for UCLA. So, I tried to do exactly that, never heard back from UCLA, they're bad at answering phones and this clinic told me that I'd have to go in person because of that reason. I was in and out of urgent cares and the hospital from the amount of pain that I was in from this unfinished root canal. Because I found out from an AMAZING Dr., that dr.gil missed a whole canal in my tooth. I had to get this tooth extracted. Once I saw this tooth out of my mouth not only was it stinky as heck, but it was BLACK, pure black. It was so rotten and infected from where the drilling was done. I had this stinking tooth in with my temp crown for five months since I was trying to find a dr here in bako who would help me. This whole process was bad. Im not sure why this place is still in business. I understand how hard it can be to be a dr. and dealing with patients who have a fear of dentists but experiences like mine is what causes the loss of respect for Drs. in general. Please do research for your teeth since it affects so much of your body. Don't just let anyone who accepts your insurance work on you. I've learned from this now. I don't do this with ill-intent, just be careful.

I had previously visited the office because my partial denture needed an adjustment. After it was returned to me, it eventually broke. This was my first experience ever using a partial denture, so I relied on the office for guidance regarding its care and what to expect. When I contacted the office for assistance, I felt that the staff member I spoke with was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of feeling helped, I left the conversation feeling discouraged and uncomfortable. As a patient, I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their insurance coverage or financial situation. My partial denture has remained broken for months, and because of my experience with the office staff, I no longer feel comfortable returning to have it repaired. As a result, I have been left without teeth, which has negatively affected both my daily life and my confidence. This review is not intended to criticize Dr. Medina personally, but to bring attention to what I believe are serious customer service issues within the office. I hope the practice reviews how patients are treated and takes steps to improve communication, professionalism, and RESPECT for everyone who seeks care. Every patient deserves to be heard, treated with dignity, and provided with professional service. I sincerely hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future patients. We came in today for routine cleaning. Dr. Lee did the preliminary review and my child did need a couple of fillings done due to cavities. Dr. Lee was thorough and made sure my daughter felt at ease the entire time. Front reception was a breeze. The gals assisting the doctors are also always so courteous and gentle.
