Like most Ulta locations, it's in a strip mall with other businesses. What I like least about this location is the parking lot is so hectic and chaotic. You can sit in 1 spot for a long time waiting to move. I would return but definitely not during peek hours.

That person told me my refilled had already been called in and that it would be ready in a couple of hours. Click hung up. I went in four hours later and it's not ready. This is only one of many instances where their lines are long, where counter staff are abrupt, where shelves are disorganized, where the floor is dirty, where the bathroom has no toilet paper, when staff walk around talking about going on a break, eating snacks and shuffling around. The parking lot is a snarl. I've given them plenty of times to redeem themselves to little avail (I will say there are a few staff members who go above and beyond, but they're rarely on shift). Sally has a bunch of hair and makeup brands I hadn't heard of (and a few I had, like China Glaze and OPI). Prices are drugstore or higher. There are clearance areas. Best thing about Sally is they have an easy return policy: return within 60 (or is it 30?) days and get a full refund or exchange. That's products you tried, too. They very much encourage people to try new things but only keep it if it works out. I've already brought a few things back. No funny looks, no questions. It's great! But my favorite thing about Sally is that it's set up like a drugstore, not a Beauty Store. Things are condensed. There are not huge displays taking up space that would be better spent holding other merchandise. Doesn't feel like Ulta or Beauty Brands. I got some nail polish, mascara, and a makeup blender sponge thing on my first visit. I believe this may be the start of a long and happy business relationship.

I've just showered with a glycerin soap from Maven and "I feel pretty, oh, so pretty, I feel…read morepretty, witty and bright". I will admit, I have always used two soaps when showering. I use a deodorant soap for the manly areas and a Dove for Men product for the rest of my body. After this shower, I am flipping that bird off and replacing it with the locally made soap from Maven. The scent I bought on my first visit was, "my boyfriends t-shirt". I can assure you it does not smell like the t-shirts of the Sharks and Jets after they have been dancing on the rooftops and streets of New York City. In stead it smells like fresh clean laundry that has dried in a fresh summer breeze. The fragrance was so soothing that I also bought it in a Wood Wick Soy Candle and Solid Perfume. I can tell you now, I will be a repeat customer at Maven. I may even have to start considering myself to be a metro sexual, which I have not in the past.
