I'm not sure if this is a deal that is offered all the time, but so far at every event I've gone to, I've gotten a flier advertising that if you book four or more WC vendors, you get more discounts and freebies. The only downside is that they only offer one of each vendor - one cake decorator, one florist, etc. I'd have loved to see a little more variety to compare their services. Still, WC gets a big thumbs up from me! The vendors I've met through there are all experienced and very friendly and helpful. One of the vendors we were hoping to meet had stepped out, and another vendor helped us get in touch with her and was even able to tell us a little about her services just because he knows her business from working with her so much. I highly recommend that you visiting The Wedding Collection if you are trying to plan your wedding!

The owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating... I just love them all to pieces. 319 itself is a large open room fitted with a projector screen, a dance floor, huge windows, and loads of way to modify the set up. There is also an outdoor patio with a bar that can be opened. They also have two other smaller buildings facing S. Campbell, both of which would be perfect for a smaller catered dinner or small reception. (The room with a fireplace is super adorable) Speaking of the food... we were lucky enough to have had them cater the fundraiser we held for the serious and OH MY GOODNESS THE SPINACH DIP! I also have started bringing my own skates. However, if you don't have your own, roller skates are included in your entry fee, but roller blades are an extra cost. They recently redid the rink during COVID, so the wood floors are nice and smooth now! They have arcade games, a mini cafe with snacks and concession foods. There are also lockers that you can rent for a quarter to put your shoes and keys in while you skate. It is definitely a mom and pop kinda feel, family owned and run. Pre COVID, there was one adult skate night where they handed out cupcakes for the owners birthday. Another time we showed up to skate for the last half hour and the lady at the front counter gave us a discount since there was only a little time left to skate. I don't ever expect this to happen again, but it was a kind gesture that you really only get with locally owned places. My one complaint is that they play the same 90s rap music during Adult Skate Night. I wish they would mix it up. However, I'm so glad there is a skate rink still open and operating in Springfield.

Beverages of all types and the frozen pizzas made on-site can be bought whenever the post building is open. Hours vary a tiny bit but generally Mon-Fri 11 am until closing (usually around 7-9pm depending upon attendance levels). Sunday opens at 1pm until 5-7 pm or so, again, depending upon attendance levels. Saturday opens at either 11 am or noon. I forget which. Just drop on by and tour the outside until the building opens!!!! Within the post are lots of exhibits of militaria such as weapons, plaques, pictures of all types and awesome models of a submarine and a battleship. Friendly folks gather here; military veterans and non-veterans. Construction workers seeking lunch find our large parking area very handy allowing them to park their truck while entering for a hot meal. Every other Wednesday during the warmer months the motorcycle enthusiasts gather to swap stories, eat and drink and listen to music performed upon the covered stage and if a stray cloud arrives with wet in it the covered listening area provides a dry area to continue the fun. Call the post to learn what particular Wednesday night is "Bike Night." The multi-acre American Legion Vietnam War Memorial Post 639 is a park-like setting providing much to many. Too much to cover here. Drop by and experience the post in person. Many folks drop by to show their kids the outside exhibits and to run around atop the soft, springy, green regularly-mowed grass. There are also outside benches and tables where a picnic can be held. There is a "retired USA flag" drop-off in front of the post building where worn-out flags are given a proper, respectful retirement ceremony.
