I had heard good things about Rosamungthorns since their support of the Springfield Little Theatre event, The Roast. Beautiful centerpieces were designed at a very reasonable cost. So, when I saw an offer for a floral design class at Rosamungthorns at a silent auction, I knew I had to bid on it. I won a floral design class for two and called to save my seat at a class in November. The shop is lovely and easy to find with a great variety of items and also cozy enough to socialize. We started the evening over delicious food from Avanzare and a lovely assortment of wines. Then we introduced ourselves to one another so we could enjoy the class together and we did. I had so much fun laughing and meeting new friends and finding out who we knew in common. We enjoyed creating our masterpieces and getting expert advice so we could all walk out with a one of a kind floral arrangement. This is my new favorite florist and I plan to go there for all my future floral needs! read more

My husband stumbled upon Roseamungthorns while out and about driving and stopped by to pick up a memorial wreath for his moms grave and Theresa was the one who helped him! He was so impressed with the way she helped him that he made sure to tell me he found a perfect flower place for us to start using! Shortly after that we contacted them to do the flowers for his dad's funeral...again Theresa was AMAZING and so are her flowers!! It is the day after my grandmother has passed away and I am on the hunt for plants to help spruce up the house during visitation. I have looked all over town finding very little and way overpriced items. I stoped in rosamongthornes just to see what they might have not really expecting anything that I haven't already seen. I was greeted warmly and surprised by the large selection of what I was looking for. Theresa and I spoke for a little while and as she discovered I was also searching for an Urn, which is not an easy thing to find last minute. She had a sample in her store and a contact that she called to help me get the perfect item quickly. When my father passed away recently, we contacted her and she actually met us at the church the day after Valentine's Day to discuss what flowers would be perfect in a bit of a challenging setting. For a long time my dad has gone through Theresa to order flowers for my mom and they ALWAYS made her smile. This past December my mom passed away and we knew only Theresa could do the flowers for my moms funeral. She sat and talked with us, cried with us, and helped us through a very difficult task. This shop is amazing. I live in St. Louis and was looking for a florist to create a bouquet as unique as my mom (who lives in Springfield). The owner Theresa is the amazing. We had to get a funeral arrangement on short notice and she kindly walked us through our options and helped us choose an appropriate color pattern and style. The arrangements were beautiful and elegant. And not only did they deliver on a Sunday, but she picked up them up the next day and repurposed the arrangements into bouquets that we could use in our home.
