The lovely K picked the place for our lunch today. Not often she misses the mark, but she almost had a swing and a miss here. It's bare bones in the decor department, with the wooden floors showing a fair amount of wear and tear. The kitchen service was quite slow, with our three meals taking quite some time considering the place was almost empty. The fryer is someone friend, but the items we ordered were over cooked. The menu has plenty of chicken items on it, but we were informed upon sitting that they had no chicken, other than wings. K ordered the wings, and when they landed she asked for some dip, which never materialized, though our server did come by and mention it after we had finished eating. She mentioned she asked the kitchen for it, but then Buddy in the kitchen sneezed and had to wash his hands, at least he did that. In the time he washed his hands the dip was a forgotten memory. My veggie sandwich was ok, but the cream cheese was very evident overpowering the rest. The sliders were ok according to our guest, but identifying the fried additions took a while to identify. The washrooms were very clean, which was a positive. I can't imagine being there when it's busy, you'd wait an eternity for your food I fear. Not a redo for us, sorry. read more

When we arrived, we were the only customers. After we were seated, 2 more parties came in. They were waited on first. After a wait, we ordered and then waited and waited and waited. The others were served before us also. We had hoped for a quick stop for lunch but it turned out to be over an hour. Two of us had the fried fish with fries which was ok. One had a pizza and the crust was hard, burnt and sauce tasted bad. It gets 2 stars for the fish being ok but everything else was a zero especially the service. read more

What a pleasant surprise - we ordered their take out for delivery (crispy chicken burger and jalapeño juicy Lucy burger) and both were excellent! Had a bit of trouble with their online ordering system which needs a few tweaks (wouldn't accept my card) but I phoned, and it was all good. I requested garlicky Caesar salad and it was perfect! Too many places don't make a Caesar salad with enough garlic. This was yummy and home made too. Delivery was great - contactless and distancing protocols in place. We will be ordering again for sure! I should also mention that we tried this restaurant twice, years ago when it first opened - the experience was terrible. Well, they've nailed it now! read more

I've been in a few times since the fire Reno. Started strong with great burgers and the stack of onion rings were fab. Last time I was in there the burger was a frozen tasteless patty and the rings were cold and soggy. I was actually sick for a couple of days afterwards. And then I took a friend there for breakfast as a last resort. It was deplorable. Rubber scrambled eggs, greasy soggy bacon and soggy (wet really) toast and butter still frozen which we couldn't put on the wet toast. Sorry guys, you're losing it. :( read more

If you like a bar atmosphere then you will love this place. The food is good although a bit pricey. I would say it would be a little better if we had been looking for a place to eat in the evening. Not a family style restaurant - except maybe for oil rich cowboys. Not really sure if I love it or hate it. Not what I was expecting from the outside decor. It would be a real hit in Grande Prairie as a bar and grill. I will have to bring my Fort St John family in here and see what they think. read more

I LOVE this place, it's cozy, friendly staff with great service and it's just off the highway so it's great when you're traveling. I had the chicken California club on a gluten free bun, you get a side of your choice (salad, fries) I asked if I could get a bit of both and they allowed it with a minimum extra fee of $1.89. They also have a good size drink menu and their prices are very reasonable. If you're in the Cassidy area, make a stop in for lunch. read more

I have now tried this place three times and won't go back. I have had three friendly servers (hence the only star) and three terrible meals. I found that the: - waffles are soggy - the coffee is lukewarm and good luck getting more. Ever! - the biscuits are dry as hell - I have NEVER been offered a water refil - the eggs have been (really!!!!!) overdone EVERY time - getting a bill after you are done is PAINFUL I feel like they could have hit a gold mine in this location with this building but instead I have been disappointed at all turns. read more

I really wanted this place to be good. there isn't much in the area. Unfortunately we found the food to be plain and lacked flavour. The wings are good, but then how hard is it to muck up wings - as long as you don't use old oil and sauce comes from a jar. Servers are nice, but perhaps not the most experienced or just not focused on providing a high level of service. read more
