Delightful strawberry dessert crepe.
Nancy S.

We sat at the counter and had the bonus of being able to watch the crepe chefs at work. The crepes were amazing and I will be back! Shared a savory crepe and a dessert crepe. My mouth is watering remembering.

Located on a touristy strip of Old Quebec City this is a recommended spot for crepes so it will be busy. We went for brunch and there was slight lineup which does move quickly. When you enter the first set of doors you will see a sign asking customers to wait in the little vestibule and someone will come seat you. This is due to the fact the space is at a premium in the restaurant, people and tables are packed in. We lucked out and got a table by the window and on nice day I can see the windows being opened allowing a nice view of the street for people watching. Old world charm! Now the food. It's mainly crepes...both savory and sweet options but there are also other items like sandwiches and salads. Crepes come in the regular batter as well as buckwheat for a slightly higher price. Each crepe came with a small 'salad' made of shredded carrots and a couple of cucumber slices. Fillings were generous and flavourful. Despite it not looking like a lot on the plate it was filling. Service was good! We were checked in on and coffee was topped up.

Dirty chai latte and Kir royale

Excellent meal In the QC !! Crepes ! So delicious. We tried 2 . A sweet and a savory ! Plus a Kir royale and a dirty chai latte for me. Drinks were great and the cocktail was so pretty ! Latte could have been a bit stringer in chai taste but was still nice and creamy. We had the pesto and veggie crepe and the strawberry and chocolate crepe. Oh boy. Beautiful presentation on the sweet ! We opted for ice cream on top instead of whipped cream, highly recommend that switch. The pesto was delicious and fresh. Loved the cheese and veggies mixed into it. The strawberry chocolate was awesome . Light and crispy crepes. All freshly made. The service was fine and the place was nice and cozy. Great little discovery around the corner from our hotel. Really enjoyed this meal . You have to come here when in QC !!

A nice little restaurant with with great service and lively ambiance. It was a hot and sunny day on a weekend afternoon. We were greeted with a warm welcome and were seated beside the window, which was really comfy. We had sweet crepe with banana and chocolate, and a savoury crepe with roasted beef, egg and cheese. Both were delicious and nicely presented. Our server was excellent with wonderful and caring service. Definitely I'll recommend this place if you like to have a good meal while visiting old Quebec

Great service, excellent crepe menu with a variety of different style coffees to start your day in Québec City. The resto has sweet, savory or gluten free crepes with vast array of fillings to suit your fancy. Breton has limited seating, so on the weekends it can be an arduous affair. Coming early will certainly help but be advised it does get busy there very quickly.

Came in because of recommendation by the internet while in Quebec. I like the windows open up and allow fresh air in to the restaurant. The interior feels very family friendly. Very busy almost always a line the twice I can to Quebec. But the Service is on the most part good as it is very busy. I always order their roast beef crepe as I prefer their savory over their sweet variety of crepes.

Patiently waiting to dig in.

Line not too bad for lunch, only about 15 minutes. Had the buckwheat crepe with egg, spinach and goat cheese, but they omitted the egg by accident. To be honest I love buckwheat, but this made for a drier crepe. Sister had the ham, cheese and asparagus with bechamel, she thought the cheese could have been meltier. Overall delicious with a little side salad. I'd definitely return to try the sweet crepes.

Popped in for a lite dinner. Great service. Place was very busy. Menu was great. Party got savory crepes, a sandwich, and a sweet crepe. Everything was good but the stand out was the choix d sweet crepe with fresh strawberries added. Highly recommend.

Good morning! How about a breakfast crepe?

The good the bad and the ugly. This is a very popular stop. Very friendly staff and I really enjoyed my breakfast crepe. Unfortunately our second crepe was both dry and had little custard to make up for the overly cooked crepe. My Dirty Chai came near the end of service. Maybe offer a coffee in the mean time as it was almost an hour. I'm sure if you come you might have a completely different experience and we would certainly give them a second chance but we will give an honest review. We understand the rush of the crowd.

We stopped here for brunch. Even though the place looked crowded from outside, there were plenty of tables indoors that could accommodate a large crowd. The interiors had rustic decor and felt cozy. We ordered mimosa and cappuccino to drink, along with a veggie and meat crepe. There are a lot of great options for crepe lovers here. The crepes were good. Staff was pretty friendly as well.

Soup of the day (butternut squash and carrot)

You can make your own crepe or choose from a ready made savoury or sweet options. Service was ok. I guess if you are in QC you should try this place.

Over half an hour wait time. But folks who came out said something along the lines of "it's worth the wait!" The staff is great. The food was delicious. And it was surprisingly filling. This was our last day in Quebec City and I felt good until we drove into Vermont many hours later. Take a look at the pictures all over the walls while you're there. The vibe is like a diner but the service is like a restaurant. Bon appetite!

white flour crepe with apple sauce and ice cream

Went in during a nice non-busy hour and was seated immediately. Service was very kind and attentive. It's quite loud but has a good amount of seats. It's kind of dark inside. There is free wifi. I ordered the white flour crepe with apple sauce and vanilla ice cream. The apple sauce was quite nice, sweet and sour. It had apple bits in it too which was a pleasant surprise. The ice cream was good as well, and the crepe was well done. I would have preferred if the crepe was a bit thinner. It costed $13 before tip.

Personally, it was a treat for me trying out something different, but I do not think everyone would appreciate its almost raw meat and liver-like texture. The Tartare comes with fries, a salad, and crouton to round up the order. We upgraded the side of fries that came with the Tartare into their Tout Cochon poutine. I was happy with that option that way I was able to sample their house poutine without needing to dedicate a full meal order for it. I can say this was among the best poutines I have had. The gravy was rich and flavourful. The poutine was also loaded with a variety of different proteins like the Gaspor farm ham and the bacon-wrapped sausage. The perron cheese curds also perfectly topped off the whole dish. Our last order was the Quebec pork chop marinated and grilled with maple and tamari. It was served with apple chutney, sweet potato mash, and seasonal vegetables. It is exactly as you would expect with the ingredient details of the dish's name. You get a lot of different flavour profiles and textures with the meal order. Some saltiness with the pork chop then some sweetness with the apple chutney. Meaty tenderness with the pork chop, mushiness with the potato mash, and then some slightly crunchiness with the seasonal vegetables. We dined on Sunday lunchtime the day before Family Day. There were people waiting to be seated by the time we arrived, but fortunately our group of only 2 people has a table spot available so did not need to wait. We were led down flights of stairs to the lower floor which was level with the street below. The whole place with its classic walls and decor exudes with classic charm.

By the time we were finished our meal, there was a half block line out the door. This is a tightly packed restaurant with several 2 seater and some 4 seater booths with a bit of a mezzanine for customers. The staff are super efficient, friendly, and delivered the food quickly. This has a more diner feel but with the Quebec French feel. We had the: - house lemonade - soup of the day (pea) - la cochonne; this is a breakfast poutine with eggs on top, very filling and delicious, ham, sausage, etc. all chopped into bite sized and topped with sauce and cheese, for poutine lovers - le migneron; this is a standard looking breakfast with french toast, homestyle potatoes, veggies, ham/cheese/eggs, and more maple syrup on everything, best option if you don't know what you want to eat while getting the feel of the place This is another great place to visit while in Quebec, this is located in Old Quebec Ports and the walk leads you through some of the older buildings of the city as well as past many art galleries. It's conveniently located near Old Town's main attractions, as well as other food spots and shops. The ambiance inside is lovely, and the staff was welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. We ordered the French onion soup and a classic crêpe with egg, ham, cheese, and seasonal vegetables. The French onion soup was absolutely outstanding--easily one of the best I've ever had. The crêpe was equally delicious and far better than what we typically find back home. The only options for the egg were scrambled or over-easy, which felt a bit limited. Also worth noting: no Coke Zero, but Diet Coke is available. Overall, this spot is a must-visit if you're craving authentic crêpes and exceptional French onion soup.

The French Onion soup was also very delicious! I did debate whether to try the dessert versions but ultimately stuck with the savory. The only miss was the La Cannoise, with ricotta, spinach, olives, tomato sauce, egg and pesto which was not a hit. Just a weird combination of flavors that I guess I don't find mesh well, this dish was mostly left behind. Service was really friendly and helpful.
