3.5 stars rounding up. I wanted to love Cassano's being a local small chain with a long history. As far as "pizza" they pride themselves on the big round Flatbread cut into squares- you know, like you would do for feeding some four-year-olds? They have a "hand tossed" option that seems to come close to an actual pizza pie. But there's way too much crust and the toppings are ridiculously skimpy. They sometimes have to be reminded this one is supposed to be cut into slices. On the bright side - they offer the absolute BEST chicken wings in the area. Moist, meaty, big, and a generous portion. We get ours naked with a side of ranch. They are consistently excellent. They also have a pretty comforting spaghetti and meatballs dish (or spaghetti only). The salads are terrible though so don't waste your money adding that. The employees are generally pretty nice. They often seem understaffed. There is a lot of seating available if you want to eat in, and they offer beer along with Pepsi products. read more

This is a review for all Cassanos pizza. The pizza itself is amazing. Thin salty crust. Great sauce and fresh toppings. Most of the toppings are diced. The flavor is amazing. One of the best pizzas in all of Ohio. read more

Called in a large deluxe pizza order while driving through Eaton. We also requested no salt. When we arrived, the pizza was just coming out of the oven so it was nice & hot. We ate it while driving & it was yum. read more

I don't know how anyone could give them less than 5 stars. We order at least 3 times a month & it is especially good every time. We get the regular crust/thin & our toppings vary with each order. Nothing skimpy on ours except mushrooms, but every pizza place skimps on shrooms. When we have delivery the drivers are incredibly nice. They thank you for the order & tip without fail. When we pick up our order whoever is behind the counter is always very friendly and the restaurant counter and seating area look clean as a pen. They have great customer service. Only ding I would give is telephone ordering. We did order once & our order went to a location 30 miles away. They fixed it so all was good. Enjoy! read more

I love Cassano's pizza! Every time I am in town I always stop. The pizza is delicious and I love their salt crust.

Your better off picking up or eating there. If you order delivery your pretty much guaranteed to get cold tasteless pizza. We live about half a mile from the store and the few times we ordered delivery it was horrible. And like most chains these days no one there cares. I have visited this Cassano's for many years. Have always enjoyed how fresh the food is until recently. Estimated online order wait times are off by over 10 mins, with no customer service to back it up. Not very pleased with this location, would rather drive an extra 15 minutes to a different location in the opposite direction for better service and food. read more

Years ago, I worked for Cassano's, after I came to love their pizza. I even worked at the old location (on East Main St.) for this store somewhere around 1980 for a weekend. Cassano's was always dedicated to giving you good food for your money. They made a few bad choices, such as making you order your own food at the counter, but they've never sacrificed the taste of the food and I'll always return for that taste. The store is in Five Points Center south of Walmart and Kmart and it's almost at the big intersection. They have quite a few booths and tables in the dining room and the rest room is adjacent to their space. Since they're in the strip mall, you have a variety of entrances from which to choose and there are plenty of parking places. Wheelchair access is possible, but there are no automatic doors that I could find. The menu board is a bit small and they have another smaller board under plastic on the counter, as well as paper menus. The staff handled every transaction quite well, including mine and they brought my pizza out within a reasonable amount of time while handling other orders. They didn't seem the most friendly but they did their job pretty well. The dining area wasn't dirty but chairs had not been put back in place so it looked as though they'd only done a partial job. Update: more employees, more customers, tables needed to be cleaned. I'd ordered a 9 inch Deluxe pizza and a Mountain Dew. This came to just under $10.00 with tax. Is that a bargain these days? At least, it's in line with other places. They also have a personal, 6 inch pizza to go with the 9, 12, 14, and 16 inch sizes. I like that they still have salad, pasta, and hot submarine sandwiches. I don't believe that they have fish & chips (or hand-dipped mushrooms or hand-dipped onion rings at this location. Only the Stroop Road and Trenton, OH stores have the fish & chips at this time. The pizza was excellent with plenty of toppings and I didn't have a problem with the soda machine. It may not have been Taco Bell cheap, but taste isn't optional. read more

You know those cheap cardboard Tony's pizzas they sell for $3 in the grocery? Well this place sells them for $15. A large is the size of a medium and is about a cup of food in total. We ate a few bites and gave it to the dog. Absolutely gross and a waste of money. read more

Ordered 3 large pizzas for pickup. Arrived within the 20 minute time frame, gave my name and paid for the pizzas. Manager said it wasn't quite ready and I patiently waited. After waiting another 25 minutes, I overheard the manager say he was still waiting on me to pick the pizzas up. Long story short, manager offered no apology or discount and took his sweet time refunding my money. I grew up on cassanos pizza and am so sad to say the Eaton location is a disaster. read more

Cassano's never disappoints when your in the mood for a thin crusted pizza. This is a nice easy to access location with a small dinning room area. Staff was friendly and we had hardly no wait time for lunch service. read more

The Eaton Ohio store is nasty and floor is always flithy. The pizzas some days are good but other days they are tasteless and nasty as was the pizzas tonight. They FORGOT to put the salt on the bottom of the dough which brings out the flavor hence why the pizzas are tasteless and nasty without the salt. The shift manager i observed him on the floor hugging and kissing his kids that ate inside and then i observed him not washing his hands after his hands made contact with the floor. If i could give a ZERO i would which there is no option for a ZERO. This establishment is always dirty on the inside and then most of the time from them keeping the pizza up on top of the metal shelf for customers to pick them up without keeping them warm hence why the pizzas are always cold. Never again will i eat at this establishment No thank you. read more

Moved back to Ohio after 42 years. A trip down memory lane was in order and Cassano's Pizza King was on the route. Pizza just like I remembered. Not bad. Wife liked the premium Calzone and the preiga was yummy. Washed down with a bottle of Bud. read more

6/17/2019 Cassano's pizza Eaton Ohio We have been ordering this pizza for years. We ordered 12 pizzas to go in June 2019, due to the fact we moved 2000 miles away. This restaurant went out of the way to make our pizzas and freeze them for us the day before we were to drive home. They did a great job and all the pizzas were the same. They did not skimp on the toppings. We also received a great catering discount. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. read more

Oh my God. They must have put crack in their pizza. It is SO good. My husband and I have had their pizza a bunch of times in the past - but tonight, the pizza just seemed extra tasty. We had an order of the garlic cheesy bread. It is extra garlicky and comes with a side of sauce. Delicious. It lasted us all of about 3 minutes. We had their thin crust pizza with pepperoni and italian sausage. The sausage chunks were nearly the size of golf balls. Well worth the extra buck we paid. The crust was super salty and absolutely perfect. I am ashamed to say we ate an entire large pizza. In fact - as soon as it was gone I said "I hate myself. This never happened. We ordered a small pizza" My husband, bless his heart, responded with "what pizza?" :) Seriously though. Try this place. There aren't many pizza options in the area. This one is a little pricier than pizza hut but it is worth the extra money! read more

I love eating here, usually I am not a fan of thin crust, but this place is amazing. Simply put they make piazzas better than all of the chains and California piazza kitchen. Trust me this place is worth the drive all the way from DC. read more

I stopped in this location last friday at around 4pm. The smell of vomit immediately hits you when you walk in. The odor couldn't have been anything other than vomit. The restaurant appeared to only have one employee working though the carryout driver was busy picking up orders they must have been cranking out pizzas. The interior was dated but had a nostalgic feel to it. My pizza was tasty. This has been a HUGE exception to the other Cassanos locations that I visit in Dayton, Beavercreek and Troy Ohio. I grew up in the greater Dayton area, and about 10 years ago started making occasional trips back home just so that I could enjoy the classic hometown pizza that I grew up with. However, there is a major problem with the Cassanos of today than it was 35-25 yrs ago, the quality of each restaurant varies by a HUGE margin. From the quality of how the pizza was made and the proper quantity of ingredients. To the greasiness of the melted cheese, to the quality of the employees, to the service, cleanliness...etc. It's ALL OVER THE BOARD. Usually family run businesses fail when they hit the second generation, the percentage that fail in the 3rd generation is usually even a much higher margin. So that fact that they even still exist is a testament to the family, but there are definitley problems with the pizza chain. They will continue to get hit with new competition like Donato's, Jets Pizza..etc. And they will slowly decline until it's too late. I hope that date never comes because I absolutely love the pizza when it's made right, with good service, from clean looking staff in a clean facility. But I have to admit, I would have never been a repeat customer with the Cassanos of today if I didn't have a nostalgic connection to my youth when it was in it's hayday. They really need to work on their product constancy, standardized look of each location, cleanliness of in-restaurant dining, and professional appearance and courteousness of the employees. And cost control. The tiny medium sized pizza I ordered with extra sauce and 2 toppings was $14!! For about 8 ounces of pizza! When you are serving a cracker crust lightweight pizza, you can't charge the same that a chain does for pizza containing twice weight by volume. It doesn't fill you up for the same cost of an equal quality pizza chain. The gentleman that waited on me at this location was professional and prompt, but again, this has been the exception to my experience over the past 5 years at different locations. read more
