Mix for 2: Steak and Lamb Kabobs
    Kevin Z.

My girlfriend and I ordered a mix for 2 with steak and lamb. The rice was seasoned well, but the flour tortilla seemed more there for presentation. Loved the portions and freshness of the caspian salads plus the char on the grilled vegetables. Plentyyy of onions which was a plus for me and the pickles were a nice touch. However my only gripe is that there were only 2 pieces of lamb with the rest being a normal portion of ribeye steak kabob. I would expect two normal portions of lamb kabob. Siracha sauce was also odd

Been here several times for takeout and boy o boy is it delicious. There are two locations, but I've only been to the one next to Woodman's. It's in a strip mall and small, but I love the music videos on the tv and home style vibe. Every time I go I order too many things because I want to try the whole menu. This time I got the chicken pelmeni, potato vareniki, fried piroshkis, honey cake, baklava, and chicken kebab plate. Everything was so good! I also got a chocolate croissant for my kiddo and her sticky fingers have two thumbs up. The owner and staff are always very kind, and seemed joyful at my enthusiastic ordering and diligent in packaging it all up so I don't spill. Only thing on the menu I didn't like was this Russian mineral water I gave a try. Too salty for me, but it's cool to try new things. Anyway, check them out!

Wife and I were feeling Greek/Mediterranean, and while searching around, Caspian Grill popped up, so we decided to give it a go. We weren't sure what to expect from the unassuming exterior, but entered to find a charming, well decorated, and clean restaurant! We started with some Turkish tea, which was recommended by our waiter. It was quite good, and came in unique tea glasses that allows it to cool quickly for drinking, while allowing the rest of the tea to stay nice and hot in the pot when you're ready for more! Asked for some water on the side, which we found out was a $2 bottle of water. I'd skip that next time. We ordered the garlic hummus, and it was very good, but we did need to order a side pita to finish enjoying the hummus. Side pita only cost $1.50 though, so not a huge inconvenience. Decided to split their chicken Pelmini, which was 14 pieces of dumpling-type goodness, with siracha and Greek yogurt on the side. Excellent bang for your buck, and quite tasty. Ordered the meat only version of the lamb kabob, and while the portion wasn't the largest, the lamb was very savory, and some of the best I've had in a while. I would recommend getting the plate version, which comes with some sides to fill out the dish. Whole meal came out to about $33, not including tip. When we go next time, we'll likely go with the Lamb Pelmini, split a kabob plate, and finish up with some baklava, which looked really good! Definitely recommend this place.

This was recommended by a Spectrum service person. We never would have tried it in our own. F tu I'm the outside it is not impressive but the inside is big and beautiful. It reminded me of the many Moroccan restaurants I've been in. We went for lunch so it wasn't crowded. I had the lamb kebabs and a Caspian salad. The small salad was huge and very tasty. I think there were 7 pieces of meat on the skewer but I am not sure. In any case it was adequate. Hubby got the pita and it came with more food than he could eat. The lentil soup was very good as was the pita. I suggest anyone to go there. We enjoyed it and will be back.

Wow!! I felt like I was back in Istanbul. There are soo many flavors on each dish - parsley, dill, onion, cucumber, feta, etc.. Seriously it's an orchestration of flavors. We got a pot of tea, garlic hummus, lamb kabob plate with fries, and mixed veggie kabob. I don't eat meat but my partner said the lamb was tender and delicious. And when you order it as a plate it comes with an amazing mixed salad that we both happily shared. Veggie kabob was great. I love the blistered peppers the most. If we had any space left we would have gotten a baklava - it looked soo good in the case.

Caspian Grill is my fave type of food. So I was very pleased to see that it be opened near Woodmans Westside. We tried three different dishes: chicken wings, ribeye steak kabob and lamb kabob. The menu doesn't describe the dishes, so I didn't really know what to expect. Each dish practically looked identical except for the meats: one large pita bread with meat and topped with a delicious fresh salad with onions, feta cheese, tomatoes and herbs & spices. For me it was perfect.... but my husband isn't a salad fan. So he was a bit disappointed. But I scored more salad, so hooray for me! My meat-loving husband and I enjoyed all three of the meats. The meats were tasty and well seasoned. I wish the menu had more descriptions of all dishes. I don't know what Pelmeni or Vareniki are. But I'll ask best time I stop in.

We tried Caspian because they are opening a new location near our home and thought we should try it out! and YUMMMM, I'm so impressed. We dined in and the owner actually waited our table. He was so kind and attentive and made great suggestions for food. We got the Mix two which was just the right amount of food for two people. We had the lamb and chicken skewers both were cooked perfectly. It also came with rice, a greek salad with yogurt dressing and a pita. I additionally ordered hummus for the pita. We can't wait to try their new location.

Amazing Azari food. The kabobs are perfectly seasoned and juicy. I'm rooting for this place to be successful. It truly is a gem. Wish it was closer to me :( I will definitely be back!

This place is very unique. I don't think I had Caucasus cuisine before this. The experience was great. We got borscht, pelmeni, and mixed grill: steak and lamb. The steak was super good and tender. The lamb was bit salty. My boyfriend thought they overcooked the meat a bit. My only complaint for this was the portion was pretty small. The mixed grill came with caspian salad, grilled vegetables and rice. The rice had this interesting flavor but a bit dry. The pita was thin and had no flavor. The grilled vegetables contained of eggplants which we didn't really care for, tomatoes and peppers. There were also a few pickles as well. For some reasons, their caspian salad looked so dreamy. The thinly sliced onions made me want to dine in right away. The borscht was good. Not sure if I was not supposed to do this but I put the pelmeni into the soup. I really didn't care much about the pelmeni sauces they provided at all. We also got their honey bread and baklava. They were okay. I wish the baklava was more flaky and had more pistachio. Definitely will come back to try different meats.

Great gem near Woodman's. I got a lamb kabob platter which was very tasty. It comes with either rice or fries, salad, and pita. Make sure to ask for tzatziki sauce! The skewer of meat was a little small for some people in my group (they do sell additional individual skewers as necessary), but the food was very tasty. The entree rested on a pita and the salad was flavorful with tasty fresh red onions and tomatoes. The fries and meat skewers were delicious and not dry at all. It was a good portion size for me, but as mentioned above, some others in my group ended up getting a second entree. I would definitely come back!

We had reservations at 11:45 AM but since the servers were in the kitchen was not seated until closer to 10 minutes later. After I was seated, I was promptly brought water. I then ordered an appetizer of hummus. The amount of pita served with the hummus was very little. It was a nice sized portion of hummus there was definitely leftover hummus as you were only given a few pieces of small pita. Our server was very kind and very observant when I asked about dishes that were dairy free. She was very helpful on that. The ambience was very quiet, even though there was a a few tables nearby. Really nice ceilings. The food was good. It would be nice if there were more options on the menu as well as dairy free desserts.

My boyfriend and I have had the kabob platter for 2 three times now - twice in person and once to go. It's $80, but it is a *ton* of food. There's lentil soup, salad, pita bread and sauces, rice, and 3 kabobs (chicken, steak, lamb, and roasted veggies). Plus, baklava for dessert! It has been absolutely delicious every single time. The staff is so friendly, and we've never needed to wait to sit. The food comes out pretty quickly. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back!
