You HAVE to go here! I will be thinking about this place for a while. We came here after a long day at our conference, and I was craving Mediterranean food. This is probably one of the best things I've had in a while. I got my beef kefta and kebab & I ate the entire thing. It was one of the best seasoned meats I've had in a long time. I also thought our waiter was so kind and he was able to assure us my coworker would be taken care of for her allergy. I cannot wait until my next trip here to get this!

If you are looking an authentic Mediterrean food look no further! Everything was amazing. You can tell it was made with love. Fresh fresh fresh. Can't go wrong eating at Taza

This is an off the beaten path Mediterranean restaurant. Hummus and pita are great. Service was fast. The restaurant is older but that wasn't an issue for us. I had the stuffed salmon which just wasn't what I thought I was getting. It was good but a meal cooked in a personal skillet with lots of cheese surrounding the salmon. I was trying to have a nutritious meal and just didn't bargain for the very heavy, fatty cheese baked meal. It was good but next time I'll just stick with the salmon.

Our food was hot, flavorful, and the portion sizes were excellent for the price. We didn't love the seafood soup, but everything else was excellent. We had the beef and chicken kebab combo and the Mediterranean shrimp kebab. The beef was incredibly tender and seasoned well. The shrimp was in a delicious tomato sauce, and the hummus was terrific. We finished with the baklava... which was one of the best I've ever had. Our server was friendly, efficient, and everything came out exactly as we ordered it. Great neighborhood gem!

Very nice and fresh food with unique flavors. The Shrimp was soft and had nice flavors. The gyro was well cooked and juicy. Chicken shawarma had nice taste too.

I stopped by for dinner on a weekday evening. This place is in a quiet complex. The place was busy, but still seats were available. I went for mazza for 2 as the appetizer. It is a lot of food. I would say it can easily substitute an entree. Falafal, Hummus and Muhammara were my personal favorites in mazza. Beef kefta and beef kabob was my entree. Beef kefta was my favorite. Both had good flavors. Spinach lentil soup was good. The pomegranate juice was a good drink. Quantity was small though.

It's OK. I've been there a couple of times and sampled various menu items... it's OK. I find most of the food to be rather bland and need of seasoning. I recently had the moussaka and it was sorta mushy and flavorless. It was OK.

My wife and I love this spot. Food is consistent and delicious. Stuffed grape leaves, grilled lamb, Chicken Shawarma and the falafel salad are a few favorites. Highly recommend for date night with your love

Great Mediterranean food from friendly Turks. An unrecognized jewel of the isthmus. Plus, across from the lake and machinery row.

Rice was bland and the lentil soup not what I expected (too much lemon). Grilled meats were ok but could use more flavor.

This visit was a reminder of when they get it right it's incredible. But in truth, the previous two visits, they failed at this, due primarily (how I chose to justify the error) because they were very busy on those two consecutive visits on a Friday night during a dinner rush. That was early last June, which I recall because it happened to have been my sisters birthday. I was let down enough that I didn't want to return for the foreseeable future. In May it happened the first time which I figured as a forgivable mistake. Last night I just wanted pizza and it had to be done in the way that I prefer. Plus I had earlier this week noticed that the University Ave location had closed down, which I learned when I asked, had happened in June as well. But this visit was not to be a sorry decision. Because they were slow, maybe at 40% capacity I was surprised when my pizza came out well before I was expecting it. At first peek, it looked great in the box. 27min later at home it was no longer hot but it smelled amazing. It also looked incredibly well made. Perfectly consistent spotting of the high gluten doughs edging and the texture was precisely what I was hoping for. Pulcinella is the usual pie that I always get, with added roasted garlic. Often I also request prosciutto as well but this time I wanted the pure basic taste I've come to adore.

Food: A nice selection of pizza, split between ones with and without tomato sauce. I got the Lombarda which has Gorgonzola Cream, Pears and Apricot Glaze and Arugula. My wife got a cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion (CSMO). Both of them came out, pipe hot, with nice crisp crust. Nice presentation for both pizzas. They were both good, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the Lombarda. If it had Apricot Glaze, it wasn't very noticable, and maybe was the reason that it needed a bit of salt to enhance the toppings. The CSMO was very flavorful, and clearly the better of the two. Service: Super friendly and helpful service, both when ordering and when the food was delivered. The cashier was patient and happy to give us advice on what their favorites were. Atmosphere: It's a small place. Some interesting vintage large photo print on the walls. We had reservations at 11:45 AM but since the servers were in the kitchen was not seated until closer to 10 minutes later. After I was seated, I was promptly brought water. I then ordered an appetizer of hummus. The amount of pita served with the hummus was very little. It was a nice sized portion of hummus there was definitely leftover hummus as you were only given a few pieces of small pita. Our server was very kind and very observant when I asked about dishes that were dairy free. She was very helpful on that. The ambience was very quiet, even though there was a a few tables nearby. Really nice ceilings. The food was good. It would be nice if there were more options on the menu as well as dairy free desserts.

My boyfriend and I have had the kabob platter for 2 three times now - twice in person and once to go. It's $80, but it is a *ton* of food. There's lentil soup, salad, pita bread and sauces, rice, and 3 kabobs (chicken, steak, lamb, and roasted veggies). Plus, baklava for dessert! It has been absolutely delicious every single time. The staff is so friendly, and we've never needed to wait to sit. The food comes out pretty quickly. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back!
