Hookah $30
Nisha B.

Met my GFS here for a dinner before they attended a comedy show next door. Saturday evening. We made reservations. I found street parking, next to the lounge. Used the ParkMobile App. When I walked in, around 515pm, the place was about 35% capacity. LOUD music lol but a LIVE DJ was ROCKING at the door / by the door. The DJ was playing ALLLLLL of the classics from the mid 90s-early 2000s. The music was SUPA loud tho, my friends were all yelling to each other to talk to one another - while sitting next and infront of each other lol. Also, the DJ only played like 30 seconds per song which left the entire place wanting to sing a sing more. There is food and drinks available. Cocktails averaged about $13. We also shared a Hookah at $30 total. Different flavors available. I didn't get food as I was set to go to another spot after that, but my friends all enjoyed the dishes they got. Our waitress seemed to cater to the entire place, so it was periods of time we didn't see her and needed things (like napkins lol) This place also has brunch. The front part of the restaurant was the bar and table style seating. The back was the lounge (with plush chairs and low tables), leading back to the bathrooms was the kitchen. If I didn't live so far, I would come at least 2x a month lol GET HERE!!

Here for brunch with the girls

Came out to meet up with my girl for a mid-day brunch. Now I've never really been on this side of Arlington so I didn't know what to expect. Thank God it was plenty of street parking that was close by and also a garage was just across the street. The spot is on the corner of a pretty busy street next door to the cinema draft house. A tip make sure you make reservations it's HIGHLY recommended! The line was ridiculous and basically was like that the entire time we was there. The music was a good mix of the regular hits you hear at brunch, but was so damn loud my friends had to ask them to turn it down. Mind you the place is so small and our table was near the DJ booth and the door. So what I don't like about brunch here is the pricing. Now I've been to many places for brunch and I'm use to paying one price for the entire brunch and bottomless mimosas. Now here everything is separate. The bottomless mimosas are $30 OR you can pay $13 for each one. Now they know good and well nobody going to do that. And if one person gets it the entire table has too. Ok I'm use to that. But the food prices were ridiculous too. Even places in DC the food is including like a buffet. So I got the shrimp and grits, salad, and a steak egg roll. The food was good but damn the price was crazy. Now they also charge an 18% gratuity so keep that in mind. Now my friend and I split the bill she gave them and extra tip I didn't. Now for the spot to be so small it was packed! Rona not going to stop the party and I'm happy about that. One problem I did have is you have a 2-hour sitting limit ok cool. But how they was making a big deal for some and not all to get up and let others whose waiting outside be seated kind of pissed me off. It seemed like they was targeting me and my girl and nobody else. The only good thing I can say is that they did give us another seat with I guess a group that was in like a VIP area with a couch. They were nice enough to let us sit with them. But other than that I would be back....maybe not for brunch because it's too expensive but day party yes...

I've been coming to caspi for years! Since the beginning and they have definitely stepped it up from the staff to the customer service to the whole ambiance. They are the epicenter of Arlington. NOTHING COMPARES. If you haven't tried the hookah, drinks, or food you are missing out on an up and coming gem. The staff definitely knows what they are doing. I wouldn't be surprised if they run out some of these other rinky dink places around the corner. If you're looking for a party you got it here. If you are looking for an intimate date night you got it here. If you are looking for a place to come and think it's better than Starbucks. I've been here at all different days of the week. Your wee definitely should incorporate caspi. As we speak I am here right now. And this is just the start of my week. Favorites: Bartender: Badr Hookah- Tropical mint Drink- patron margarita Food: lamb chops and fried shrimp

Visiting from Atlanta this place was close by so we stopped for hookah. 4 stars as the server went above and beyond to make our hookah experience better. The problem was, the hookah was burning out fast, and reducing the coal made the drag long. Thanks to our server that offered to change the head... which was good after.

I passed this place a million times not thinking it was a hookah place inside. Once inside it look a really modern lounge. Hooka was great too especially the pineapple hookah. Service was a bit slow and they initially must of forgot my drink but the waiter was great and sent an extra one my way even though an apology would of have been good enough. It's good to see places that still put the customer first. Last the couches are really comfortable if you plan on staying awhile. I plan on coming back when I'm in the area.

Large portions of food However wish the menu was easier to understand - the descriptions aren't as helpful as they may think. Space is cute the day we went they had a dj which definitely spiced things up.

We stood at the door and the…read morehostess came from behind us in the door and then told to sit anywhere we'd like and i'd understand if they were just opening but at this point when we visited they had already been open for hours so not quite sure why she walked in behind us. The actual hookah was mid at best for D.C I was expecting a lot better. Then when it came to the bill we were charged $4 for each bottle (of which we were not even told there was a charge at all for water, and no we did not specifically ask for a sealed bottle all we asked for was water the sever never said tap or bottled, she just automatically brought us sealed) when on the menu they were priced at $3.50 sure it's .50 but when there was five that .50 extra could have almost bought another bottle. Also when she brought the bill she did not even show the itemized bill at first all she showed was the tip screen which upon doing the math from what we ordered vs paid we realized the amount was way higher than what we got and so we asked for the copy of the receipt only to find out there was ALREADY a service charge on there of which was NOT a credit card charge because we paid in cash and when asked what the cash total was she told us $60.31 yet the copy showed the cash price was $57.91 also they charge for charcoal, what am i suppose to do bring my own charcoal? i've never had to pay extra for charcoal they just include it with hookah price, absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention the vibes in this place is like an absolute funeral, all the pictures made this place look so fun and great, but no it was worse than funeral. I felt even more so like i was at a funeral after I realized how badly my wallet was robbed. I will never come back here.

They are fairly new so there was not a real food menu, however the Baklava and ice cream was wonderful. We've been assured of a new food menu next month!! Baba, the owner, really sweet! The restaurant was clean, bright, airy, and vibrant, with a trendy atmosphere that we absolutely loved. We started with the cornbread, which had a lovely texture, somewhere between traditional coarse cornbread and a sweeter version. It was tender, delicately baked, and served with delicious butter. I ordered the three-egg omelet, accompanied by a beautiful, fragrant, and refreshing arugula salad that I thoroughly enjoyed. The eggs tasted farm-fresh. My mate enjoyed a full breakfast of beef sausage, bacon, potatoes, over-easy eggs, and a biscuit. The coffee was hot and delicious, and my hot matcha was equally enjoyable. One small tip: specialty drinks ordered from the drink bar may take a little longer to arrive at your table, so keep that in mind. Our server was excellent, and the overall experience was wonderful. We were happy to leave a 25% tip for the great service. Between the delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive staff, this was an thoroughly enjoyable breakfast. We loved it and would gladly return!

Disappointing First Visit -- Unfortunately, I Won't Be Returning…read more I was genuinely excited to finally visit Ruthie's All-Day in Arlington after hearing so much about the restaurant. Unfortunately, my first experience was disappointing, especially considering how much I was looking forward to it. We started with Harry's Hot Hushpuppies, made with shrimp and jalapeño. They arrived nice and hot, and the batter was crispy, which I appreciated. The flavor was decent, although I think a different dipping sauce would have complemented them better. Overall, they were okay. For my entrée, I ordered Ruthie's Big Plate. I specifically requested my eggs scrambled soft with cheese. Unfortunately, they arrived without the cheese and were not cooked the way I requested. The beef sausage was another disappointment. After taking one bite, I found the texture unusually soft and mushy, almost as though it hadn't been cooked thoroughly. I couldn't enjoy it. The bacon, however, was excellent! The portion was generous, and the flavor was really good. It was honestly one of the highlights of my meal. Unfortunately, the breakfast potatoes were the complete opposite. They were dry, lacked seasoning, and had very little flavor. I did enjoy the grits, which were another positive. My husband ordered the fried chicken biscuit. I tasted his chicken, and it was extremely salty. There was a sweet honey glaze that helped balance the saltiness somewhat, but the salt was still overpowering. The biscuit itself was just okay. I did speak with the manager about my experience, and I want to acknowledge that she was very apologetic and offered to have something else prepared for me. I appreciated her professionalism and willingness to make things right. However, I declined because my husband was already eating, and by the time another meal arrived, he would have been finished. I didn't want him sitting there waiting while I ate. For me, dining out is about more than just the atmosphere or a restaurant's reputation. The food should be flavorful, properly prepared, and served as requested. Unfortunately, too many items fell short during this visit. I really wanted to love Ruthie's All-Day, but based on this experience, I don't see myself returning. I hope management takes this feedback constructively because there is definitely room for improvement in the consistency, seasoning, and preparation of the food. I also want to acknowledge the manager's effort to make things right. She came back over to check on us again, and a server brought us complimentary apple donuts with cookies and cream ice cream. I must say, the cookies and cream ice cream was absolutely delicious! When I spoke with the manager again, she told me, "I didn't want you to leave dissatisfied." I genuinely appreciated her saying that and, more importantly, making the effort to turn our experience around. I even told her that the ice cream was my "happy place" because I enjoyed it that much! Although I was disappointed with several aspects of our meal, I believe in giving credit where credit is due. The manager was attentive, sincere, and genuinely concerned about our experience. Her hospitality did not erase the issues we had with the food, but it certainly made a difference in how we felt leaving the restaurant. I truly appreciate her kindness and willingness to make things right, and I felt it was only fair to acknowledge that in my review. So I changed it to 3 stars for the effort to make things better.
