This place has been one of the best camp grounds we have been to. The campground is under new management and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The pool is huge and has more than enough room for multiple families to play together. It has always been clean and they leave the doors open so it doesn't have that overwhelming chlorine smell. The little store inside has very reasonable prices for small things you might have forgotten and stuffed animals and candy to keep the kids happy when they aren't playing in the pool. They also have a park that is right next to a set bathrooms and showers that the kids can burn off some steam. Theres a merry-go-round that has provided lots of giggles from my kids and other kids who stop to go for a spin. The location is perfect for being close enough to access to the highway for getting on and off for travel and making a day trip to the beautiful Casper Mountain or shopping locally in the area. There is also a small coffee shop walking distance across the street and a car wash and dog wash. The campground also has a nice grassy area for the dogs to relax and play. We stayed multiple nights and loved seeing all the different breeds of dogs relaxing and chatting with their owners. Never had an experience with barking dogs or people being rowdy. Everyone who has stayed has been respectful and does their part to keep the campground looking nice and clean. Whether your passing through for short or long term, it's a great spot to wake up to a view of the mountains and they have done an amazing job of making it feel like a home away from home. read more

We stayed here for a month. We full time Rv and this is one of the best all around Rv campground/ resorts/ Koa. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and helpful. They are full service, they have tent sites, cabin, and full hookups and they have mini golf, dog area, pool, laundry and propane. They are about 8 mins from Casper and directly across the street is a rv/car wash and a little dog wash station as well. Very convenient Koa and very reasonable as far as pricing. Super clean and the employees are always cleaning and taking care of the grounds. Highway access is only a few mins away as well. This place is great you won't be disappointed! read more

I stayed here for 4 nights. I chose the spot by the road because it was cheaper. The road noise wasn't that bad. The check in lady was super sweet and advised that there would be road noise and if I needed they could move me. But I'm cheap lol. I live in town in my home town and am used to it. But they are super accommodating and willing to work with you if you need moving. I'll be staying here again when I come back to kayak the river. It was quiet and hardly any neighbors in my economy section. The dog patch is great. It's enclosed so my pup could poop freely. There is mosquitos there just at that area so take spray with you. Otherwise there wasn't any in my camp spot. It's easy to get in and out. The owner was willing to help guide me back but I didn't need it. I thought that was super sweet. I didn't really use any other facilities and was gone kayaking during the day. But I had a great experience here read more

We were traveling on Monday afternoon when the storm was coming in, call to check for a spot, the lady was extremely helpful, was able to get us a spot till the storm had passed. On arrival they were waiting for us, check in was fast and easy, escorted to our spot, ask if we needed any assistance, Nice indoor swimming pool, area was very clean and well maintained. The dogs enjoyed the dog park, enjoyed the grass!! Nice little store, had the one thing I needed to make dinner that I had forgotten to get before we parked. We enjoyed our stay!! read more

We have been traveling for 5 months now & hands down the BEST service we have gotten. The owners are INCREDIBLE. I don't know why this meant so much to me , but them just helping us guild into our spot, not just showing us on a map. But actually driving us into the spot for easy hookup was so nice. The campground itself was nothing special. It was a gravel parking lot, no grass, tight spaces, and not too many amenities. I took our dog Echo to the dog walk, which was a 10 ft. x 20 ft. fenced in space with gravel. The dog walk fence was 7 ft. tall and felt claustrophobic; Echo did not leave my side until we decided to leave the dog walk. The playground looked shabby and under maintained as well and I did not let the girls play on it. Our space had water, sewer, and electric. There was a cheap plastic picnic table and a small tree, who looked to be clinging to the life in the hard Casper weather. Although close to the Interstate, there was not much road noise at night because the Interstate is not heavily trafficked. If I stopped our review here, I would give this RV campground two stars. However, we had a bad experience with the management so I am giving a one star review. Our experience: Due to a booking mistake, we arrived the day after our reservation. The owner of the campground was condescending, informing me I should track our reservations in a "planner." We were 200 miles away staying at another KOA and she would not be flexible, even when I confronted her if they were full the night before. She said the campground was not full; the night we stayed the campground was barely 50% full. I understand that it was my fault for double booking my stay. The owner's rudeness about the situation and condescending tone towards me, the customer, is why I am giving the KOA a low rating. I have double booked before and the campground owners have understood, moving my reservation. All in all this is a very basic KOA. If you need a place to stop as you pass through, this KOA will be good for an overnight stay. Would I recommend this park? No. Would we come back? Stayed one night. Mostly level Site, fair amount of space between sites. Dog Sun is super small with fake grass on one end, there was ATT 4G service with 3-4 bars, but the worst part was we didn't get any sleep. The freeway is at the back of the park where they put us and the noise was all night and constant. Big rigs, motorcycles, and loud cars were going by all night. We left first light and took naps when we arrived at our next location which wasn't very far away thankfully. We can't risk our safety and the well fair of others while driving a 5th wheel so we won't stay here again. read more

New owners..very helpful and friendly. I like the escort to our site. It is sometimes confusing as to where and how to get to the assigned site. The park is all gravel, large gravel, not the small, small kind so leveling is easy. No brown grass or problems with putting out rugs. No mud being tracked into the coach. WiFi was okay. Perfectly fine for a night stay. I wouldn't choose to spend much more time here since there's no shade and no grass. Well, there's a patch of grass but it says no pets . The shower rooms were clean and a nice break from our camper shower. Luckily they have a laundromat and we could get caught up before the next leg of our journey. If I would have been able to find a state park easier on my map, we would've stayed there. read more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Casper KOA! Don't be deterred by older reviews - the campground has new owners who have done a lot to improve the campground! The owners and staff were all very helpful and friendly, and they went out of their way to be extra hospitable to us and their other guests. The location is amazing! The campground is set off the highway so it's quiet and peaceful, and the view of the mountains from the campground is just beautiful! Nice community park down the road and close by to a lot of awesome places to go sightseeing. The campground has a grassy dog park and a cute playground for kids. Super nice being able to do laundry there! Bathrooms and showers are very clean and spacious. Best part was the swimming pool! It was big and refreshing and one of the cleanest pools we've ever been to. Our little kids absolutely loved it because there is a 3 foot depth area where they could wade and play instead of being held constantly like we've had to do at other pools. We spent a lot of time in the pool! We loved this campground! It's a great place to stop for a night or to stay for a few days. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back! read more

This was better than a hotel, a very clean and nice family oriented safe campground. We will stay again at a KOA. This was our first time. We stayed in a deluxe cabin with a queen bed, bunk beds with private door. The cabin includes linens, bathroom and shower. You also have a swinging bench on the patio outside, a mini fridge and microwave. The campground has a indoor pool & playground for kids. read more

Wyoming is a big empty square vastness with nearly nothing but cows and beautiful, quiet, open spaces. So where else to put a campground but right next to the loudest highway possible! No fire rings. Shower/bathroom you get your own room, they're clean but light wasn't on at night to make it less creepy to walk in. read more

The worst camping experience ever! The park is clean, camping spots are well-groomed, but the owners need some SERIOUS customer service training. I asked for a quieter tent space and explained how loud the road noise was (from a highway and an interstate). There were no other spots available so after discussing it, my husband and I realized we had no other choice but to stay where we were one more night. We informed the wife (husband/wife owner team). Her husband came out of the building moments later yelling at us that we weren't welcome another night and accusing us of using the f-word in the office (among other things). I don't talk like that. I immediately started to cry ... he followed my husband back to our tent site and harassed him as he tried to pack up our tent. He also got upset that we used the dog park, which he'd previously said we could use. This man quite literally screamed at us and chased our car from the parking lot. I have never in my life experienced anything like that while camping--and we camp a lot. These owners made it clear that since they've been doing this for a whole 2.5 months, they were experts at managing an RV park ... but I beg to differ. I highly recommend finding a different park. read more

This place was a stop for us on our way to Cody WY. I'm glad we didn't have to stay here longer than that. Not pretty at all even with the beautiful scenery. All gravel no grass at all. They did have a small putt putt that kept the kids busy. Overall it was clean but not pretty. read more

This KOA has new ownership. The owner and his wife are the kindest people ever, and are eager to make their KOA better. They have already added a new dog play area with real grass and a water hose for the doggies. We had a pull thru space with a picnic table. The laundry room and bathrooms were very clean. There is a nicely stocked store and free coffee in the lobby. I went for a run; there's a beautiful park nearby with plenty of area to run, and a playground for the little people. OH! And there's an RV car wash and dog wash station on par with Petsmart within walking distance of the KOA. Overall, a great place to stay! read more

This was by far the worst KOA we have stayed on our 8 week trip. They are not Pet friendly nor are they the least accommodating. The grounds are bare and the green belts have "no this or that", the staff was rude. read more

Seem that a punishment for not making reservations is to be crammed into a tent space that has only electric and water and next to the highway, was very hard to get into as a huge rv was parked in front, gave us no discount, as we counted 15 spaces unused, told us they were reserved but still empty next day, if they didn't want us they should have just told us we would have been better off. read more

We pulled in after hours and found our own spot. The check-in process was easy with envelopes for specific spots. I can't comment on the amenities since we did not use any of them, but I can tell you that their customer service is excellent. While back on the road the next day I received a call from Casper KOA. Someone turned in a set of keys left at our space. As we were about 70 miles down the road by then, I told the nice lady that called that we had spares so just throw those away. She insisted on mailing them to us on the road. I told her if it was too much trouble not to worry about it. We arrived several days later in Buena Vista, Colorado and the keys were there waiting for us. We were very appreciative of her kindness. read more

It's literally a dirty, gravel parking lot. We showed up to tent camp right after they closed at 7pm on a Saturday. There was no information to show us where the tent spots were. There were no envelopes or information on prices and night registration. We turned right around. Don't know how this could be a KOA with the current standards. read more

Not too bad...Location was poorly chosen, all we could hear all night was screaming jake-breaks from semi trucks. However, the staff was nice. I'm thankful we found it, as we needed a place to stay in a pinch, and would recommend it if you, too, are in a pinch. But honestly, it's not my favorite KOA. read more
