There are hotels that dazzle a man with marble columns, crystal chandeliers, and enough decorative pillows to smother a buffalo. Then there are hotels that win him over by performing the simple miracle of being run by people who appear glad he exists. This establishment belongs proudly in the latter category. The breakfast itself was nothing that would cause a revolution in American lodging. It was the same continental breakfast we all know and love from sea to shining sea: eggs of uncertain ambition, waffles aspiring to greatness, a standard issue pancake printer, imported whole fruit lovingly hand-wrapped in cellophane, and coffee tasked with carrying the whole enterprise upon its weary shoulders. Yet what distinguished this breakfast was not the menu but the ministry. A guest found herself engaged in mortal combat with a waffle that had become permanently attached to the waffle maker. Before the struggle could escalate into litigation, a server appeared, liberated the imprisoned pastry, and restored peace to the republic. Empty plates vanished almost before they were empty. Coffee cups were replenished with a vigilance usually reserved for national defense. OK, I embellish the effort just a little. But darn if it didn't feel that way as a matter of comparison to the usual economy hotel punishment. Good service cannot improve a mediocre breakfast into a great one, but it can perform something nearly as remarkable: it can make a fellow forget he is eating a mediocre breakfast. Attitude, as it turns out, is an ingredient. The room itself was pleasantly spacious. Most modern hotels provide Wi-Fi and consider the matter settled. This room, however, offered a dedicated Ethernet connection. I plugged in out of curiosity and discovered speeds that made the Wi-Fi seem less like a technology and more like a suggestion. There was also a second-tier vanity shelf, a humble feature whose usefulness cannot be adequately appreciated until one has spent years balancing toiletries upon surfaces apparently designed by people who own only a toothbrush. Now, no honest account would be complete without mentioning the defects. The room resisted darkness. The window shades approached the task with enthusiasm but not competence, allowing enough light around the edges to remind a sleeper that somewhere outside, the universe remained operational. More perplexing was the hairdryer. It resided in a wall mount equipped with a small nightlight that glowed continuously. I searched for a switch with determination and, eventually, with suspicion. Either no switch existed, or I lacked the intellectual qualifications to locate it. Both explanations remain plausible. In the end, I left with favorable impressions. The breakfast was ordinary. The room had quirks. Yet the staff possessed that increasingly rare talent of making inconveniences feel small and guests feel welcome. And often, that makes all the difference. read more

Quality Inn served its purpose. Provided a comfortable bed, shower and a decent included breakfast at a very affordable price. Everything was clean, plenty of parking and ok area. The quality of this quality is 3 stars, but because of the customer service I shoot them four stars. From the check in counter to the lady working the breakfast section excellent customer service was provided. read more

Everything was perfect. The room, the staff, the price, absolutely everything. Teresa was an exceptional employee that went above and beyond to help us. She was so sweet. The maintance man that works at night was very friendly and made you feel good with his kind words and jokes. We were here for 2 nights in a large wonderful King Suite. We are traveling all over the USA and Canada. This is our 7th day on the road. This is the only place we have stayed that has lived up to its reviews. We paid for two nights in a regular queen room at another hotel before coming here. It was just okay and we paid $608.00 for 2 nights. At this Quality Inn and Suites we only paid $260.00 for a King Suite. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would like to extended a special thanks to Teresa. read more

my husband stayed here for work the beginning of October. He always takes his own pillow and every morning puts his pillow on top of his bags. mostly so housekeepers don't need to worry about touching belongings of tenant. after his first night, he grabbed his pillow, only to find a nasty note under it. totally uncalled for and so very rude. dont leave your items in the room if you're an extended stay. you never know what they have gone through and done to them. The note said "I fuck with pillow". Will try to post picture but at this time it isn't letting me. read more

Very clean, quiet and great quality service! The front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly, accommodating and helpful! I would highly recommend this hotel for its price point! read more

I stayed at this Quality Inn a few years ago and contrary to the norm where service starts to decline at businesses over time they have maintained the same excellence I enjoyed years back. Deb checked me in, explained everything I needed to know and all with a smile. The facility is older, the bathrooms are tiny but the people that work here are great and that makes up for any shortcomings. read more

This place is great! Not only were the beds comfy the room clean but customer service is definitely five star! Stephanie at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter and I. She is a true asset to this company. Also the free breakfast was amazing and had lots of options. I will definitely stay here anytime visiting Casper. read more

my daughter stayed the night at this hotel that had some good reviews but when she woke up this morning she was all bit up by bedbugs

We had a reservation at another hotel for our stay here but the room accommodations were not as described so we went on a hunt, found this place and honestly was sceptic from the appearance from the outside. I was wrong, the staff and the manager was super helpful and accommodating, showed us a room, helpful with everything, we stayed here for the week and it was everything we needed. Highly recommend and would go back anytime! read more

AMAZING! Service is on point! Rooms are super clean. Breakfast is excellent. Quiet, super comfortable and so clean!!!! I will absolutely be back! read more

We chose to stay here based on all the 5 star reviews. We were also traveling with 2 dogs so we were limited on hotels we could stay at. Check in was fine. The lady working the front desk seemed tired but she was still friendly. Our room was a decent size although the bathroom was extremely small. The sink is located outside the bathroom but the toilet and shower/tub were crammed into a small room. The handle to the bathroom door looked like it had not been cleaned for quite some time. We also found an opened/used water bottle under our bed. Our room had a weird smell so I immediately opened the window to get some fresh air. The worst part was how uncomfortable the bed was. The sheets were itchy and the pillows were so small. We had just started a 3 day road trip so it really sucked not getting a good nights sleep after 8+ hours of driving. Next time we travel through Casper we will try and find another hotel to stay at. read more

I had to stay here overnight for a test the next day. I used my points and didn't have to pay. When I checked in the girl was very cheery and everything was done very fast. As I entered my room I was blown away. It was like 2 rooms with a doorway between them. One room was similar to a living room with a recliner, tv, kitchen, and full sized desk for my study. The bedroom was just as impressive with another recliner and large tv. The room had a safe and blow dryer. The shower water was hot (some places dial down the heat to save money) and the water pressure was amazing and very massaging. There is a free breakfast that came with waffles, sausage, ham, fruits and cereals. A couple things to bring myself down to earth and point out that might be a concern to others: there is no elevator and I didn't see any carts to help carry your stuff. I guess you wouldn't get a cart up the stairs, so that might be a reason why I didn't see one. The stairs however are very wide, carpeted and have very sturdy handrails. I would imagine they would accommodate people with needs by placing them on the lower level. read more

The hotel was excellent & clean. Dog friendly too! Great service & recommended a close liquor store as we needed a drink by the time we got there! The hair dryer didn't work was my only issue & I did report it as we were on our way out. read more

We rolled in town late on a Monday night. Got checked in easy breezy and went straight up to our room and crashed. I have to say that this bathroom is probably one of the cleanest I've seen in a hotel! More often than not, hotel shower surrounds have hints of mold or some scale buildup- not this one! It was clean! The beds were really comfortable. The staff, even the cleaning crew in the halls come morning had smiles and hellos. They were seriously the most friendly, helpful hotel staff as a whole I've ever accoutered in my years of travel! The breakfast?? Awesome! Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, hot coffee- as well as all the other carby things I usually skip- was available and perfectly replenished thru out the whole breakfast hour. I did notice some kids devouring waffles they made with the machine and heaped with strawberry raspberry and whipped cream (yep, the hotel breakfast had that available too!) I would definitely stay here again when I drive thru. read more

Best hotel I've stayed in for quite a while. The staff was outstanding and extremely attentive from the moment we walked in to our last steps out the door. Truly makes traveling much more enjoyable when you get this type of treatment. Definitely staying here again should we travel this way in the future. P.S. excellent breakfast set up! read more

Check in was great! Sarah was so kind and helpful. She took the time to give us some restaurant recommendations. The rooms are very clean and comfortable! Great hotel for the price. This is a great place. What else can I say? Why do I say it? Here you go: I had just moved, actually was moving to Casper. Since the apartment community we selected wasn't open until Monday AM, I decided to stay overnight here at this QI. From the time I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly staff. They could tell that I was not from the area (hello, accent!) and helped me with the local food choices, etc., even though it was on a Sunday (slim pickin's). The room and bed was clean and smelled great. I was very tired from my drive from Denver, and had no issues. I truly enjoyed my stay there, and would recommend a night. It's close to downtown and the Casper Event Center. read more

Although we stayed at many of the Choice Hotels as we traveled cross-country, we were hesitant to stay at this particular hotel since I saw a lower star ratings for it. But, it was late, and we thought we would take a chance. Long story short, we were more than pleasantly surprised. The hotel was super clean and hotel staff and those that cleaned the rooms super friendly. Tammie, the manager, was ever-so-patient in explaining the Choice Hotel App and other questions I had. One of my questions was why the star rating was so low. Tammie explained the hotel had recently gone through renovation (wall paper was down, etc.) and the reviewer did not take into the hotel was being renovated... instead they gave a lower star rating. This hotel deserves 5 stars! read more

Not only is overpriced but everything is old as shit first of all, I stopped here at three in the morning to find somewhere to sleep after driving for continuous 14+ hours I asked the host and they could do a fair price being that it was already three in the morning and I think it's only fair that one should only have to pay half of what the going rate is if I show up at three in the afternoon I expect probably to pay the full amount. So I asked the Stuart if she could work with me and she told me no the going rate is $130 a night but I'm not here all night I'm only here for the morning she said that's the going rate. I feel that this is absolutely unacceptable people driving in off the road would you rather have accidents problem people fall asleep on the road or safety I feel that more people and more people are worried about the money they are just so greedy and less likely to help. It said I just needed someone to trash my head and get a decent 4 or 5 hour sleep and it still Cost me $115. read more

Customer service was AMAZING! FANTASTIC! STELLAR! I would run out of adjectives to describe the beautiful young lady, Tiff who made our stay wonderful. We had intended to drive further that night, but the rain was relentless, so we decided to try and find a last-minute room: Friday night at 10:00 pm. Jamie took my call and held the LAST room while we rushed to the hotel. She was on the phone with a manager and Tiff came in, (before her shift). She checked me in, at a great price! I loaded all our stuff on a cart and sent my husband in the pouring rain to find a parking space. Only to find no elevator. Without hesitation, Tiff grabbed a couple of suitcases and shot up the stairs, getting me safely into my room. She didn't have to do that, and her shift hadn't even started. The next morning, she is still at the desk, still smiling, offering the great breakfast this place provides....green chili sauce! 5 stars! Tiff is a national treasure; she made my day! read more

BUYER BEWARE! Hotel.com says Pet Friendly. I arrived and told them I have a cat. Well....they don't accept cats. They said that disclaimer is "all over the website" I rechecked the hotels.com website and nowhere do I see cats aren't accepted. The clerk told me to call hotels.com to confirm cat friendly hotels. Ya think!? I'm not going to call hotels.com on hold for 45 minutes. Don't stay here! read more

The staff were excellent and really provided excellent customer service. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and cozy! I really appreciate that the staff was welcoming. At check in, we were provided with the toiletries and a courtesy snack since we are Choice hotel members. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. And it was dog friendly!! read more

We drove from San Francisco, CA, to Casper, WY, for the total solar eclipse. I booked 6 rooms for 11 people over 2 years ago, by phone directly to the Casper Quality Inn. Each time I checked on the reservation (about once a month), the desk staff were patient and assured me that our reservation was intact, and that the rate had not changed. Apparently, some hotels were less ethical to their eclipse guests. The staff, though probably overwhelmed by the number of eclipse chasers filling their rooms, was friendly, competent and delightful. With manager Tammie ever present to ensure everything was ship shape, the hotel surpassed all expectations. From the beautiful horse sculptures in front (always with fresh hay), to the two flavors of waffles at the breakfast buffet, everything was excellent. Though the hotel has no pool, staff sent us to a wonderful nearby indoor water park that had slides and a floating river. We stayed in several hotels during our 2 week trip, but none could hold a candle to our Casper experience! We even stayed at another Quality Inn because of the Casper experience on the trip. Though no where near as nice, it was also clean and had comfortable beds. Thank you Tammie, and everyone at the Casper Quality Inn, for making an awesome experience so comfortable and inviting. Can't wait to get back to the little city with a big heart, that rolled out the red carpet for us. Casper was great, the Quality Inn was fabulous! Eva-Lynne, eclipse chaser read more

First of all, there is no elevator! We were on the second floor and we had to lug our heavy bags up very narrow steep stairs. I saw an elderly couple very cautiously coming down. I can only imagine how scary it was for them. The rooms are very dated. The bathroom is ridiculously small. The air conditioner is very loud. There is one ice machine, and it is only near the front desk. They need to completely renovate this hotel, or tear it down and start new. read more

Awesome hotel, stayed here for a night on my way to Montana. The rooms were super nice, looked new or at least newly renovated. Real comfortable bed, nice TV, nice fridge, awesome bathroom. Breakfast was pretty good too; biscuits and gravy, eggs, fruit, waffles, yogurt, drinks, etc. The lady at the desk during the day was super cool, the lady at night was a little off though. Would definitely return! read more

RUDE. DISHONEST. TERRIBLE SERVICE! We'll NEVER stay here again. We were driving through very late at night and needed a place to stay (2 adults, 1 infant and a small dog) When I spoke to the lady on the phone I was quoted a good price (around 75) for all of us (total - including pet fees, taxes etc). She was friendly enough. When we arrived at the hotel a few hours later we were told that the price didn't include the pet fee or taxes or anything. My husband was the one who went in to the office to check us in so he didn't know what the price was supposed to be. I found out the price difference and went to speak with the person at the desk the next morning. They were completely unhelpful. I thought it was an honest mistake so I was really nice about the whole deal. I was told there was nothing they could do. No manager to call. The fees weren't a lot of money at all but the service was terrible and the people were rude. Eventually we got them to refund the fees (by this point it was the principle of the situation). When I checked our CC statement, the refund had occurred and then they had recharged our card for the amount. What a dreadfully dishonest thing to do! The rooms were nothing special. The people were awful. read more

I stayed here for a week for work. The room was clean, staff was friendly and they had a good free breakfast including eggs, bacon/sausage/ham, waffles, and all the other standard continental stuff. Enjoyed the clean rooms and great breakfast. Staff was friendly and accommodating. General Manager Tammy checked on our breakfast and room satisfaction. The gal operating the breakfast was wonderful. In a pinch this is ok. Never for us again... Our room was clean but very small and we had a terrible night trying to sleep on the hard mattresses. I never thought you could make a bathroom that small. Regardless I tried to leave with a good attitude but found myself standing (20 minutes) at the front desk waiting for two slow talking and slow moving rodeo planners planning their next stay while a line of us were just trying to leave. It was unbelievable and definitely my last stay at this hotel. In the staff's defense, she should of not been left by herself to deal with all of us checking out and the two slow movers trying to plan. read more

I've stayed at the Quality Inn in Casper several times now. It's an excellent place to stay while in Casper. As a Rewards member you are greeted with your choice of candy bar (full size) upon check in, Sweet! The rooms are decently sized and comfortable. My favorite aspect of this hotel is it's proximity to the river. It's easy to get to the riverfront trail and walk/run along the river for miles. read more

Rooms are nice, clean, and well stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. The low rating is due to the poor wireless internet and connection speeds. Most of my work is done remotely in hotels so wifi is critical. read more

Were greeted by fabulous desk person. Typically I don't remember names but she impressed us by how quickly and efficiently she handled the details while chatting with us about our trip. The room was immaculate, beautifully furnished, lots of task lighting, abundant outlets to charge all our devices and the most comphy easy chair I have ever sat in! Tonight I called the desk to inquire if they had found an item we left behind. Again Nicole followed up by letting me know they would put it in the mail tomorrow. That is what I call service. BTW their complimentary breakfast was excellent. I will be looking for Quality Inn's the remainder of our trip. read more
