As a seasoned traveler, I'd highly recommend staying here because it's an inexpensive, clean and a centrally located park without the "price elevating amenities" that far too many don't use anyway. It's always nice to meet good, honest rule/law abiding people. As for the clientele that passes through, the majority are responsible people who respect others and the property, but then there are those who I've encountered and have ZERO respect for and they are those who feel they are above everyone else, by NOT following the rules, with a sense of "entitlement" and thinking they are more important than every other guest and in some circumstances forcing the manager to perform duties that are the guest's responsibility. Then there are the complainer types, who want a 5-star experience for next to nothing but don't consider the environment and either should just stay home or in a hotel because RVing is ALL about new experiences, with most be good but there are misleading websites and I like others have stayed in a very bad/dumpy park. I wouldn't stay anywhere else because I have stayed at other locations nearby that weren't worth the cost or accommodating to the average traveler for a long-term stay (4-6mos), but there are a whole lot of travelling workers, so it's understandable and summer is busy.

I took my daughter and stayed in their cottage, which is awesome. Extremely spacious, clean, well appointed and convenient. Literally steps from the fly shop! We booked a full day and were lucky enough to have JJ as our guide. He knew every part of the water, and was very patient and helpful for my 10 year old daughter. We had so much fun and a wonderful experience. Definitely use them!

Had a very nice kitchen with all the appliances that allowed us to cook breakfast each morning, and a small grill outside that we grilled steaks on in the evening. Beds were very roomy and comfortable. Did not matter who was in the fly shop, they were all very helpful and knowledgeable. The guide we were set up with was Eric Anderson. My friend had never fly fished before and I am still a beginner. Eric had all the patience in the world with us and after a brief casting lessen, my friend caught a beautiful 17" rainbow on his first cast! We caught many more even though we missed a lot of "eats". Already planning a trip back next spring. These people really know their stuff!

I am not sure if it was an off day for the company or maybe it's under new ownership, or what, but it's really just an overpriced wagon ride. The tour guide was dressed in regular clothing and there was no information given about the Oregon Trail. I was thinking maybe our trail guide is not a regular guide. It seemed like the owner just wanted the money and grabbed a person to steer the wagon. He also was hard of hearing (nothing wrong with that), but it meant when my kids asked questions he could not hear. So it was like a two hour silent ride. I would say skip this if you are in Casper. Do the free museum in town instead.

He was so accomodating, and made our group of 8 adults feel like we really experienced traveling on the Oregon Trail. He and David took us on an amazing wagon train ride, and with all of his knowledge and great stories we could visualize life on the trail back then. After the ride was over, we had a delicious meal that Chef Dave cooked right in front off us, complete with dutch oven peach cobbler. This was an experience that none of us will forget! The restaurant never opened so we never got a chance to eat there. NO lights worked in my room, we had to rely on lamps. There is bugs in the room, not sure what kind but they were harmless and small. The water pressure is INTENSE, it hurts your skin and turning down the pressure will leave you with inconsistent temperatures. If you lock yourself out of your room, the teenager at the desk can unlock your room with his phone which is convenient but also made me VERY uncomfortable. There is neverrrrrr someone at the front deak Positives: If you like old, spooky, and haunted places this hotel is for you! The old-time decorations and furniture were beautiful and in great shape. The rooms really feel like your staying at your grandmas house with super comfy beds- does not feel like a hotel bed, it feels like home.
